New polls show Donald Trump pulling ahead of Hillary Clinton in key swing states

September 14, 2016

The reports of Donald Trump’s political demise may have been greatly exaggerated. Donald Trump’s campaign has been declared dead several times by the mainstream media, most recently after the billionaire businessman’s attack on a Gold Star family in the wake of the Democratic National Convention. However he always seems to rebound and it looks as if he is rebounding in a big way right now.

It is hard to gauge the polls because depending on which national poll you look at either Donald Trump is leading by 5 points or Hillary Clinton is leading by 5 points. National polls are meaningless compared to the individual state polls and the latest round of swing state polls show Donald Trump surging into the lead.

The latest CNN poll shows Donald Trump ahead in the key states of Ohio and Florida, here is more:

Among likely voters in Ohio, Trump stands at 46% to Clinton’s 41%, with 8% behind Libertarian Gary Johnson and 2% behind Green Party nominee Jill Stein. In Florida, likely voters split 47% for Trump to 44% for Clinton, within the poll’s 3.5 percentage point margin of error, and with 6% behind Johnson and 1% backing Stein.

He has also pulled slightly ahead in Harry Reid’s home state of Nevada:

Trump leads Clinton in the poll, 44 percent to 42 percent, with Libertarian Gary Johnson at 8 percent.

And he has pulled into the lead in Colorado of all places:

A Reuters/Ipsos survey released this week gave Trump a narrow edge in a two-way race, 43 percent to 41 percent — his first lead in Colorado in the 2016 election.

donald-trumpOf course this is not a two-way race but most polls I have seen which include Gary Johnson and/or Jill Stein seem to show a third party candidacy taking votes away from Hillary Clinton. I find this interesting because I thought it would be the other way around. However the media hoopla over Gary Johnson’s Aleppo gaffe is telling in my opinion. Why did the mainstream media focus on a gaffe from a candidate who is only getting 8% of the vote? I think it is because the mainstream media has seen the same polls and want to take him out in order to help Hillary Clinton. Either that or the mainstream media was covering this story in order to avoid talking about Hillary Clinton’s health.

Donald Trump, buoyed by the suddenly mainstream concerns about Hillary Clinton’s health, is surging in the polls in the key swing states and it seems to be at just the right time. There is still plenty of time to go and Donald Trump has a penchant for saying something stupid at the most inopportune times so things could change on a dime. But as of right now Hillary Clinton and her supporters should be very worried.

I was in PA before coming down to Florida for the winter. Since these two states are going to be pivotal, there have been non stop ads from PA before I left and now down here. I must say they are very poorly done, And nothing new. Maybe she has stuff on him yet to come out, but so far, a waste of money in my mind.

I have to think she has something on him but maybe she doesn’t. In New Hampshire it is constant anti-Ayotte ads, I haven’t seen as many presidential ads yet but I am sure that will change.

A “Monster Vote” phenomenon has been identified as a potential occurrence this November. Republican voter registration is up. At Trump’s rallies there are tables setup to register new voters. Attendance at the rallies is also high. The polls only ask likely voters – voted in previous presidential elections. Thus there could be an undercounting of Trump support.

Another factor is some of Hillary’s supporters are beginning to question their support for her. This latest episode at the 911 ceremony has not instilled confidence in them due her lack of transparency. The leaked Colin Powell emails about Hillary are also casting more doubt in her supporters minds.

I hear allot of people floating the silent Trump support vote. It will be interesting to see if it happens. I do think there are quite a few Hillary supporters questioning their candidate right now.

In 1995 Bubba was washed up and packing his bags. Then came the Oklahoma City bombing and the media’s portrayal of him as looking presidential and and thereby saved his sorry hide and his presidency. If history has taught us anything there very well may be a perfect storm brewing between Hillary, Obama, the RINO elites, the Mormons, the sickophant voters and the MSM. To date her criminal past (including the exposed fraud carried on by the Clinton Criminal Family Trust) and present along with her superficiality, arrogance, poor fashion taste has done nada-nothing to change minds. Until the fat lady sings this is not over.

This is not over by a long shot, I fully expect something big to drop before the election.
