Democratic Super PAC offers to pay for dirt on Donald Trump
With Donald Trump surging in the recent swing state polls, and the lingering and now legitimate concerns over Hillary Clinton’s health, the Democratic Party is getting very nervous. So nervous in fact that a Super PAC created by longtime Clinton ally David Brock is now willing to pay for dirt on the billionaire businessman.
Here is more:
Hillary Clinton ally David Brock wants your Donald Trump dirt, and he’s willing to pay top dollar for it.
Correct the Record, one of the well-funded super PACs Brock founded, is creating a WikiLeaks-style project to pay anonymous tipsters for scoops, which they’re calling Trump Leaks.
While the effort is focused on uncovering previously unreleased audio and video recordings, Brock is interested in just about anything on Trump — as long as it’s new, unflattering and procured legally.
“We’re chasing everything,” Brock told NBC News. That could be internal documents about Trump’s business empire, his tax returns or perhaps something more personal.
Correct the Record, which is allowed to directly coordinate with the Clinton campaign, has set no financial cap on what they’re willing to pay.
Note that this Super PAC is allowed to directly coordinate with the Clinton campaign, which most likely means the campaign is also involved in this or at least approved of this move–which was called “highly unusual” in the article I linked to above, an article which also stated it “seems to cross a new line in the rules of war.”
I thought that Super PACs were not allowed to coordinate with campaigns so I have to question why this exemption was made but of course that is a rhetorical question…
I have always been of the opinion that Hillary Clinton and the Democratic Party have some type of dirt on Donald Trump they were waiting to drop on him just before the election–otherwise known as an October surprise–however this would lead me to believe they have nothing on Donald Trump other than his ties to the birther movement.
This idea was apparently spawned after a man was peddling a video which allegedly showed Donald Trump accosting Barry Manilow. The Super PAC was willing to pay for the video but found it unusable.
Donald Trump has been in the public eye for decades, it seems to me that if anyone who had something on the billionaire businessman and wanted to bring him down that person would have already provided that video to the Clinton campaign but then again money talks so who knows.
Desperate times call for desperate measures and it does not get more desperate than this in my opinion, which tells us something about the state of the Clinton campaign and its surrogates at this point.
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
His stuff is baked in pretty much IMO. Everyone knows the good the bad and the ugly. Now Hillary is a different story. I truly believe the hammer will start to drop just before the next debate with her. We shall see,,,,,

I think you are right, everybody knows everything about Trump at this point. There is probably nothing new to drop on him before the election but Hillary is a different story.

Every time the DNC, MSM or the Clinton campaign think they have Trump he turns it to his advantage.

How many times now have they claimed his campaign was dead? Every time he manages to overcome it and I think Hillary’s comment show how frustrated they are becoming.

I am now going to the brand new Trump International, Hotel D.C. for a major statement.
So all the media showed up thinking Trump was going to talk about the birther issue. They were had and instead it turned out to be an endorsement by military veterans. Another successful stunt by the master showman.

The funny thing is he never said the big announcement was going to have anything to do with the birther story but they fell for it and now they are claiming he deceived them.
