Sunday, August 13th open thread: ‘Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now’

August 13, 2017

open-thread  Here is the open thread for Sunday, August 13th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.

Last week we discussed 6 stories, did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.

In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.

The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower.

Here is The Smiths performing “Heaven Knows I’m Miserable Now” live from 1984.

Hi Swiss. Funny how we consider things saner when we were young. Maybe they were less darker, than things are now, but the old timers told us back then how ‘morals and values’ were going in the poop can. Each generation seems to get worse and not realize it because of 2 Cor 4:4 “blinded minds” by the wicked. The false light beguiles the unsaved and saved alike! Hope you’re well, one day you’ll be ‘well-er’ when your find yourself alive in His Glory! 🙂

Every generation thinks the younger generation is not what their generation was but when you see what is happening with the younger generation now it is not hard to be worried about the future!

I said on my twitter page that the left has been very successful at tearing down traditional organizations, and asked if anyone thought that there was anything that could be done to fight Goolag and YouTube in order to fight their leftist control of speech. What funny is that I remember in college, a popular poster was “BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING” thinking the threat was from government. How wrong they were about the whom, but so right about the watching. Congrats Goolag, you have accomplished so much more than Orwell could ever have guessed.

Yeah, the socials are now engaged in stifling free speech to promote their agendas!

With all the hoopla going on about Guam and N. Korea, some of the simpler things in Life seem better to focus on. 🙂
I read that the economy is in the can in N. Korea, but another article states the reason those who control America want to go after it is the mineral resources it has. That sounds about right. Plus they don’t depend on the american $. Gaddafi didn’t either, and he got taken out.
None of these ‘greedy’ self-serving air breathers -powers in high places- care “what the masses think in America or N. Korea” as long as they get ‘theirs’. Some say N. K. doesn’t even have all the nuke capabilities being talked about. Stuff like that reminds me of “Weapons of Mass Destruction” … what did that get America into which still isn’t over.
I thought to see what the N. Korean news online is saying:
    * North Korea makes its money: Coal, forced labor and hacking
    * Dispatched laborers endure 12 hours of hard work without rest or respite
    * It has been reported that many farmers are leaving rural agricultural areas and moving into North Korea’s cities. As poverty hits the countryside, job opportunities in the cities are causing the influx.
    * Regime attempts to raise birthrate ignore new social reality. To address the country’s declining birthrate, the North Korean regime is instituting policies to encourage childbirth. (Want more soldiers).

Thanks for the video, it is good to step away and take a breath once in awhile, to get outside and see the joys of God’s creation.
I hadn’t heard about our interest in the minerals over in North Korea but it wouldn’t surprise me.

I think the main question is ‘Why does Kim Jong want war?’ What’s the ‘real’ reason. I read that it’s the Shadow Gov. prez (being a Pharisee minded Israel head) being behind ‘forcing’ War – and Trump to comply. [Notice how uncomfortable he is when reading that declaration – like he doesn’t want it. When Bush Jr. read his script, he was more for it – keep the focus off of him and his possible connection with the ruse.]
Today with the advance of mind control frequencies and such, who knows what’s been “planted” in the mind of Kim J. We see examples of this in movies – that the evils that be‘ “tell the public” in fiction ways what’s going on in the the nonfictional world! Sounds crazy, yes, but that’s why it works and why those, who are ‘too close to being in the know‘, are knocked off!
Many utubers, who have been reporting ‘more truth’ and using material examples (audio/visual), have had their channels taken down because of “copyright” reasons. The “fair use act” no longer applies in these cases – Why is that? The “AI” is controlling much of these decisions (Google = Gulag), and like the TV show Person Of Interest revealed, “IT” (the AI) has a “mind of its own”. When people in the Shadow Gov. (Pharisee minded) influence the AI we know it’s not by the ‘Love of God’s Standards’ does it determine its action and decisions!~ Could it be that Kim J. is being ‘threatened’ by the Shadow Gov. to do something he doesn’t want to do (or allow them to do) and is responding, “Leave me along or I’ll bomb Guam!” He could’ve done that already if that was his real intent. None of this passes the ‘smell test.’ Notice too the ‘propaganda against Kim J.’. I’m not saying he’s right, but when propaganda by the evil ones are pushing it, we know its very wrong.

Interesting! There is no sane reason for Kim Jong-un to be acting this way and threatening his cozy lifestyle. It makes no sense, he is either insane and does not understand the consequences of his actions or he is a puppet to the globalists.
