Donald Trump to make major announcement tomorrow about the border and the shutdown

  News is breaking as I write this that Donald Trump is planning a major announcement on the border and the shutdown tomorrow at 3:00. Here is what he Tweeted a short time ago:

  Naturally everybody is speculating that he will make good on his threat to declare a national emergency in order to fund the border wall without the approval of the Congress. We will have to wait and see if this is just another bluff but I do believe he is going to do just that.

 But what is the announcement on the shutdown? Could it be that after he declares a national emergency he will announce he is ready to sign the funding bill and end the shutdown? 

  I think I have made my opposition to using a national emergency declaration to fund the border wall well known in previous posts. This would be him picking up where Barack Obama left off; governing by crisis and fear while grabbing his pen and picking up his phone to do an end run around the Congress.
