Biden COVID advisor: no indoor dining, gyms, or private family gatherings

November 15, 2020

If you were one of the people who thought the COVID-19 lockdowns were going to go away once Donald Trump was out of office because you thought they were just being done to hurt the President’s reelection bid you were sadly mistaken. This is much bigger than that and now that the people (especially the III-ers who swore never to let this happen) have failed the first test the State has seen it can push the people into submission to even greater lengths than they dreamed of.

Now that the State has usurped this power, now that the State has seen it can take the freedom to gather, to protest, to worship, in other words to lead active lives, away from the people under the guise of safety, they are never going to willingly give it back and now we are preparing for round two.

Joe Biden is in the process of setting up a COVID-19 advisory board and one of the members on that board is in favor of shutting down basically all recreational activities, here is more:

During an interview aired on Friday’s broadcast of the Fox Business Network’s “WSJ at Large,” Biden COVID-19 Advisory Board member Dr. Celine Gounder stated that “places that we know are big contributors to transmission are indoor restaurants, bars, gyms, and also private social gatherings of friends and family in the home” “are really the places we need to target for closures”

Gounder said that the advisory board’s “consensus” is that “the draconian lockdowns, shutdowns that we had in the spring,” are unneeded, and that increased knowledge means we can “be much more targeted about how we tighten up some of our measures. I think of it like a dimmer switch, whereas before we had an on and off light switch. So, we can dial up and dial down in a much more granular fashion. So, some of the places that we know are big contributors to transmission are indoor restaurants, bars, gyms, and also private social gatherings of friends and family in the home. So, those are really the places we need to target for closures while keeping other services, for example, schools that are — have not been major contributors to transmission, they’re not zero-risk, but they are much lower risk, and they’re an essential service. And so, we’re really prioritizing keeping schools, for example, open.”

The good news is they would like to keep the indoctrination centers schools open and apparently unlike in the Spring they would be kind enough to let Americans work so they can feed their families.

Of course what this does is it makes the American people serfs. In reality the State only cares about making sure we earn money so they can still pay taxes, when it comes to free time we will be free only to hang out in our homes and watch the television or play on the computer. Does that sound like freedom to you?

malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium

Late breaking news for this aspiring Commissar Baria. Private family gatherings are…………………..private. But of course the gummint will appoint Antifa to be block captains in every neighborhood and down the path of Denunciation Nation we go. Denounce your Grandmother for an Order of Lenin! Be the first on your block!

Weren’t they suppose to be ‘our friends’ after they ‘won’??
Guess not … We ‘knew’ this was their plan – they need to be contained.
People might want to request that POTUS intervenes and sends ‘Help’ or their places will be ransacked by the Paid Dem_s Globalist Agenda armies!

I agree 100%! What I do in my home is nobody’s business. It will be interesting to see how easily Americans can be made to spy on their neighbors. Nobody want anybody to get away with anything they don’t think they can get away with and will probably be all too willing to spy.

They are collectivists by nature. By name they may go as Socialists. National Socialists, Communists, or just plain thugs. Their goal is simple. They want to impose the universal collectivist model on you and everyone else: what is mine is mine and what is yours is mine. In order to survive in their world you just need to acquire a taste for AK 47 flash hiders and keep your thoughts to yourself. Comply or die. Semper Fi

As long as we keep taking it they are going to keep pushing the envelope, we should have already stood up and put a stop to this!

Well here I go again, WP will not allow me to “like” this post or any of the comments. Presumably, the BLM protests and looting will be allowed while we must sit idly by and watch. I, too, am thoroughly disgusted with what is happening and what our legislators are allowing to happen…play by play from 1984.

Your thoughts brought this to mind to share: “Totalitarianism & Dystopia”
“Dystopias (‘a community or society that is undesirable or frightening) are often characterized by dehumanization, tyrannical governments, environmental disaster, or other characteristics associated with a cataclysmic decline in society. Dystopian societies appear in many fictional works and artistic representations, particularly in stories set in the future. Some of the most famous examples are Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (1932), George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), and Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 (1953). Dystopian societies appear in many sub-genres of fiction and are often used to draw attention to society, environment, politics, economics, religion, psychology, ethics, science or technology. Some authors use the term to refer to existing societies, many of which are, or have been, totalitarian states or societies in an advanced state of collapse.”
Eric Arthur Blair a.k.a. George Orwell “His work is characterized by lucid prose, biting social criticism, opposition to totalitarianism, and outspoken support of democratic socialism.”
“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear”. Was it ‘really Truth’ that people didn’t want to hear, or the Enemy’s Plan being forced upon them!
Note: Blair was a member of the Fabian Society, “It would also explain how Orwell could write a book in 1948 telling in great detail how the mass population could be so easily controlled by the relative few elites.” (Steve, u’ve wondered about this – in discuss.)
No surprise that “Orwell was taught French by Aldous Huxley, it was here they became lifelong friends. Huxley, who was also the author of another interesting book, ‘Brave New World ‘, introduced Orwell to the Fabian society.”
Were they’re books a ‘really a form of ‘indoctrination’? posed as a “Warning” but really ‘a social conditioning’ practice – putting these thoughts and images in the mind of the populous who hadn’t ‘thought of such things before’ purposed to “make it happen as they ‘willed'” like “enchantment” of the “dark Arts & wicked Crafts.”

The only one I haven’t read is Fahrenheit 451, I’ll have to add it to my reading list. The others were a warning which sadly has been ignored.

In the end all the legislators are on the same side, they are part of the ruling class and they will do whatever it takes to protect their power.

Yes, and as long as they can keep people fighting with each other, they will be too distracted to notice the elite have a different set of rules and pay little to 0 taxes…aka the real privilege.

That’s right! They are always dividing us and until more people finally figure out what they are doing and focus on them instead it will keep on working.

    I don’t know people-I was in Cuba in 1999 and the skinny people there with bad skin, bad hair, forbidden to eat beef (reserved for the Fidel elites), learned to live with their government’s largess. Once one gets used to monthly shipments of sugar, coffee, rice, flour especially knowing your family and neighbors are subsisting on the same we will be singing the following not only on the beaches but in our backyards and tout our tenement windows;

The same thing is slowly happening here, we are learning to live with the government intrusions little by little.
