Philadelphia bans all gatherings, in public and private
While some Governors are saying the right thing about new COVID-19 lockdowns, such as total lockdowns will not be needed this time around, we all know from experience that once a tyrant usurps power he or she is never going to give it back willingly. Just look at Joe Biden’s incoming COVID-19 advisor who wants to ban indoor dining, gyms, or private family gatherings if you want an idea of what we can expect.
Sure, they gave us back some of our circuses during the nicer weather for a little while for they knew they had to appease a restless people, but now that it is getting cold again the house arrests are going to begin again. I predicted, and this was not a hard prediction to make, that the next house arrest orders would come down sooner and end later and the third round would be the final gasps of our freedom as it starves for oxygen and withers away.
Here we are in November and they are making their moves again, Philadelphia has now banned all gatherings public and private. Here is more:
In response to rising COVID-19 cases in Philadelphia, the City and Department of Public Health have announced changes to restrictions on businesses, events and gatherings, and other activities to help flatten the epidemic curve, prevent hospitals from becoming overwhelmed, and reduce the number of COVID-19 deaths.
The new “Safer at Home” restrictions are effective November 20, 2020 through January 1, 2021. An extension of these restrictions and/or the implementation of additional restrictions is possible depending on trends in the spread of coronavirus in the city.
All indoor gatherings and events involving people from more than one household are prohibited, in public or private spaces. This includes private events such as weddings and showers, listed as “celebrations” in previous guidance, as well as funerals.
If you think this order is going to end on January 1st I can tell you right now you are wrong, we know from earlier this year the date is going to keep being delayed. And while this is only for Philadelphia you can rest assured it is going to spread throughout the Keystone state, in fact the Governor has already ordered his subjects to wear masks in their homes.
“A Prince whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.“
Where are the 3%ers when you need them?
malo periculosam libertatem quam quietum servitium
BLM and Pantifa protests also? Or are they exempt??? Asking for a friend…

Wait until Biden gets through with us……only the beginning…why do I think if Trump doesn’t get the vaccine distributed before he exits it will be one long haul before the vaccine sees the light of day?

Yeah, this is just the beginning. They see this as a great tool to clamp down on us and too many people don’t see it.

That’s because they’ve been blinded by the darkness.

I should add that meanwhile she/he is still forcing Covid positive patients into nursing homes. I have written to everyone and still no one has the whatever to question her/him. Dr Richard whatever.

They probably know he will punish them with even harsher restrictions if anything is said!

I think I am going insane from the insanity of it all. We’ve known Philly was corrupt and even more so after seeing the tricks with the elections. But as more and more unravels with stacked courts ignoring the laws, I wonder if there will be a prison big enough to house the rest of us who see it for what it is and are puking with disgust.

As Zip has said before, send them to GITMO!

One of your regular commenters responded to something I posted about 1984. It was a very insightful perspective and also educational in discussing Orwell’s friendship with Huxley but for the life of me I haven’t been able to relocate it. Does this ring any bells with you? (I’ve searched me own WP comments and it’s not there either…)

I found it, it was from Zip. Here is the text from the comment:
Your thoughts brought this to mind to share: “Totalitarianism & Dystopia”
“Dystopias (‘a community or society that is undesirable or frightening) are often characterized by dehumanization, tyrannical governments, environmental disaster, or other characteristics associated with a cataclysmic decline in society. Dystopian societies appear in many fictional works and artistic representations, particularly in stories set in the future. Some of the most famous examples are Aldous Huxley’s Brave New World (1932), George Orwell’s Nineteen Eighty-Four (1949), and Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451 (1953). Dystopian societies appear in many sub-genres of fiction and are often used to draw attention to society, environment, politics, economics, religion, psychology, ethics, science or technology. Some authors use the term to refer to existing societies, many of which are, or have been, totalitarian states or societies in an advanced state of collapse.”
Eric Arthur Blair a.k.a. George Orwell “His work is characterized by lucid prose, biting social criticism, opposition to totalitarianism, and outspoken support of democratic socialism.”
“If liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear”. Was it ‘really Truth’ that people didn’t want to hear, or the Enemy’s Plan being forced upon them!
Note: Blair was a member of the Fabian Society, “It would also explain how Orwell could write a book in 1948 telling in great detail how the mass population could be so easily controlled by the relative few elites.” (Steve, u’ve wondered about this – in discuss.)
No surprise that “Orwell was taught French by Aldous Huxley, it was here they became lifelong friends. Huxley, who was also the author of another interesting book, ‘Brave New World ‘, introduced Orwell to the Fabian society.”
Were they’re books a ‘really a form of ‘indoctrination’? posed as a “Warning” but really ‘a social conditioning’ practice – putting these thoughts and images in the mind of the populous who hadn’t ‘thought of such things before’ purposed to “make it happen as they ‘willed’” like “enchantment” of the “dark Arts & wicked Crafts.”
