William Barr knew about Federal investigations into Hunter Biden but kept the information from Republicans in the Congress

As we have found out since the election has ended Joe Biden’s son Hunter is under two Federal investigations and good ole Uncle Joe’s brother is also under investigation. None of this information was made public before the election and now we are learning that Attorney General William Barr has known about the investigations for months but did not notify the Republicans in the Congress for fear of influencing the election.

Attorney General William Barr knew about two contemporaneous federal investigations into Hunter Biden for months — and worked to keep them from the public ahead of the election, according to a new report.

The nation’s top law enforcement official avoided providing information about the probes to Republicans in Congress without explanation, a person familiar with the matter told the Wall Street Journal.

Barr is said to have been aware of the federal scrutiny — which dates back to 2018 — into Hunter Biden since before the spring. But how and when he first learned of the probes isn’t clear.

Investigators worked to make sure news of the investigations didn’t become public before the presidential election, as per Justice Department guidelines that prohibit activity that could influence a political race.

The Justice Department did not want to give the impression of trying to influence the election so this information was kept from the public? Excuse me if I am being naïve, but do you not think that if a person is running for the highest office in the land the people have the right to know his family is under investigation? Especially if they are being accused of using that candidate’s position in the Government to enrich themselves. Of course this should be an election issue, if the people do not believe it or do not think it is a big deal so be it but to not let the facts out to the public should be criminal in itself.

Of course by not making this information available the Justice Department was in fact influencing the election, only it was being influenced in the other direction but I guess that is okay…
