The news is not getting any better for Hillary Clinton as the days wear on: today the liberal Boston Globe jumped into the fray with a story which says that The Clinton Health Access Initiative never reported foreign donations because it deemed it to be unnecessary.

An unprecedented ethics promise that played a pivotal role in helping Hillary Rodham Clinton win confirmation as secretary of state, soothing senators’ concerns about conflicts of interests with Clinton family charities, was uniformly bypassed by the biggest of the philanthropies involved.
The Clinton Health Access Initiative never submitted information on any foreign donations to State Department lawyers for review during Clinton’s tenure from 2009 to 2013, Maura Daley, the organization’s spokeswoman, acknowledged to the Globe this week. She said the charity deemed it unnecessary, except in one case that she described as an “oversight.”
And, in what I suppose is yet another remarkable coincidence, the donations to the foundation grew exponentially while she was at the head of the State Department:
It appears to me that the beating Harry Reid took which has left him blind in one eye might have left him with some brain damage as well because today on the Senate floor he absurdly compared the Republicans’ proposed budget with the earthquake in Nepal which has left thousands dead.

I have to be honest here: I have no idea what point Harry Reid was trying to make with this comparison, he seems to be have become unhinged at this point in time. He has gone off the deep end in an attempt to use the Hegelian Dialectic in order to ensure that a good crisis does not go to waste.
He might have a legitimate point in what he was trying to say but for him to trivialize the horror of this earthquake for purely political reasons to promote his agenda is, simply-stated, disgusting and untoward…even for him.
But of course the end justifies the means…

The Clinton Foundation has not disclosed 1,100 secret donors
The most open, honest, and transparent charity in United States history–The Clinton Foundation–might not be as open, honest, and transparent as Hillary Clinton has tried to tell the American people it is if this story is true. It turns out that at least one charity has 1,100 “undocumented” donors.

A charity affiliated with the Clinton Foundation failed to reveal the identities of its 1,100 donors, creating a broad exception to the foundation’s promise to disclose funding sources as part of an ethics agreement with the Obama administration.
The number of undisclosed contributors to the charity, the Canada-based Clinton Giustra Enterprise Partnership, signals a larger zone of secrecy around foundation donors than was previously known.
The Canadian group has received attention in recent days as a potential avenue for anonymous Clinton Foundation donations from foreign business executives, including some who had interests before the U.S. government while Hillary Rodham Clinton was secretary of state.
If the name of this charity sounds familiar it might be due to the fact that this charity was involved in the deal which gave away much of the United States uranium deposits to Russia.
Did CNN anchor Brooke Baldwin actually put part of the blame for the Baltimore riots on returning veterans during an interview with Elijah Cummins? Here is the video, I will let you be the judge:
It certainly sounds that way to me, however it is possible she was awkwardly trying to use the riots to address the serious and legitimate issue of making sure when our veterans come home from war they are provided with any counseling they might need.
However I have not heard one report coming out of Baltimore which even suggested the problem was returning veterans so even if we give her the benefit of the doubt this was not a smart way to address the issue of returning veterans–and I am not certain I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt.
She has since apologized for her comments.

Bernie Sanders to announce Presidential bid on Thursday
We have been waiting for quite some time to see if a big name candidate (or at least a bigger name than Martin O’Malley) would enter the 2016 Presidential race to take on Hillary Clinton on the Democratic side and if this story it looks like Bernie Sanders is going to enter the fray.

VPR News has learned from several sources that Independent U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders will announce his candidacy for the Democratic presidential nomination on Thursday.
Sanders will release a short statement on that day and then hold a major campaign kickoff in Vermont in several weeks.
With a self-avowed socialist about to enter the race it will be interesting to see how this plays out: will Bernie Sanders be able to pull Hillary Clinton even further to the left at a time when the far-left is skeptical of the former Secretary of State? (Maybe that is what his role will be) Or will be not be able to gain enough momentum to make an impact?
I have speculated in the past that eventually there would be several big name candidates in the race but that most were sitting on the sidelines waiting for someone else to go first so I now expect to see other candidates to at least begin to publicly consider the possibility of running.
I have to give Bernie Sanders credit for one thing: at least he has come out and stated his position on the TPP–he is against it–while Hillary Clinton rides the fence on an important issue in which the voters have a right to know where she stands.

Bill Whittle’s latest Afterburner video entitled “The Class of 2015: Book Burners Afraid of Matches” clocks in at almost fourteen minutes long, twice the length of the average Afterburner video but it is, needless to say, a must watch. I can sum this video up in one word: WOW!

Peter Schweizer on The Clinton Foundation: ‘the smoking gun is in the pattern of behavior’
Peter Schweizer, the author of Clinton Cash, appeared on This Week With George Stephanopoulos and when the host pressed him on the lack of a smoking gun he replied, “the smoking gun is a pattern of behavior.” He also likened this to the McConnell and Menendez cases and stated that “the evidence here is far more widespread in terms of repeated action.” He also states that “these are all coincidences or something else is afoot.”
Of course I do not believe in coincidences when it comes to politics…

The Clinton Foundation admits to making mistakes on taxes
The Clinton Foundation has admitted to making mistakes on its taxes in regards to reporting donations from foreign governments, here is more:
The Clinton Foundation’s acting chief executive admitted on Sunday that the charity had made mistakes on how it listed government donors on its tax returns and said it was working to make sure it does not happen in the future.
After a Reuters review found errors in how the foundation reported government donors on its taxes, the charity said last week it would refile at least five annual tax returns.
“So yes, we made mistakes, as many organizations of our size do, but we are acting quickly to remedy them, and have taken steps to ensure they don’t happen in the future,” Clinton Foundation acting Chief Executive Officer Maura Pally said in a statement.
The errors appeared on the tax forms 990 that all non-profit organizations must file annually with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service to maintain their tax-exempt status.
Pally said the foundation did accurately report its total revenue but government grants were mistakenly combined with other donations.

Well, we are going to kick it up a notch in the countdown of my all-time top favorite bands this week with the first of three heavy metal bands to make the grade. Coming in at number eight (or number three in the genre) is Judas Priest. In the late 80’s and early 90’s my musical tastes changed so while the metal bands start appearing this far down on the countdown the truth is they are interchangeable with the band which come in higher, with the exceptions of number one and number two. Apparently this portion of my list is fluid while number one and number two are set in stone.

I have not paid much attention to the Bruce Jenner story because simply it does not interest me, what a person does in his private life is nobody’s business but his own–or at least this story did not interest me until now. When it first came to light that Bruce Jenner was “transitioning into a woman” the left was giddy because they thought they had a famous transgendered celebrity, and American hero, who they could use as an example to hold up to the American people in their fight for LGBTQ rights.
However something interesting, and altogether unexpected, happened on the way to the battle for equal rights for the LBGTQ community–Bruce Jenner told the world that he was a Christian conservative-leaning Republican. And to top it all of he said be believes in the Constitution. Read more…
