Nancy Pelosi caught getting her hair done in salon despite COVID-19 shut down order
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic San Francisco hair salons are prohibited from operating. Starting today they are allowed to open for outdoor appointments only. Unless of course you are Nancy Pelosi, she was seen getting her hair done indoors recently despite the shut down order.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi visited a San Francisco hair salon on Monday afternoon for a wash and blow-out, despite local ordinances keeping salons closed amid the coronavirus pandemic, Fox News had learned.
In security footage obtained by Fox News, and timestamped Monday at 3:08 p.m. Pacific Time, the California powerhouse is seen walking through eSalon in San Francisco with wet hair, and without a mask over her mouth or nose.
Apparently the owner of the salon rents out the chairs to independent hairstylists and she is none too happy about this news:
“I was like, are you kidding me right now? Do I let this happen? What do I do?” Kious told Fox News, while noting that she “can’t control” what her stylists do if they rent chairs from her, as “they’re not paying” at this time.
Kious cast Pelosi’s visit as a double standard.
“It was a slap in the face that she went in, you know, that she feels that she can just go and get her stuff done while no one else can go in, and I can’t work,” Kious told Fox News, adding that she “can’t believe” the speaker didn’t have a mask on. (From the footage, it appears Pelosi had some kind of covering around her neck.)
“We’re supposed to look up to this woman, right?” Kious said. “It is just disturbing.”
Kious said Pelosi received a wash and a blow-dry, but told Fox News that “you’re not supposed to blow dry hair” according to coronavirus safety precautions for hair salons.
“We have been shut down for so long, not just me, but most of the small businesses and I just can’t – it’s a feeling – a feeling of being deflated, helpless and honestly beaten down,” Kious said.
“I have been fighting for six months for a business that took me 12 years to build to reopen,” she explained. “I am a single mom, I have two small children, and I have no income.”
She added: “The fact that they did this, and she came in, it’s like a slap in the face.”
And to top it off she did not wear a mask and got her hair blow dried, which is also not allowed in the new totalitarian United States.
It is just more proof that there is a ruling class and a ruled class and there are two sets of rules. Nancy Pelosi might be the highest ranking person in the government to be caught in this type of double standard but she is not the first one. Several other politicians have violated their own COVID-19 orders because they feel they are more important than the plebeians.
I have documented just a few here, but the most recent example comes from none other than the mask-shaming Andrew Cuomo who was caught outside in public not wearing a mask.

Appeals Court refuses to drop Michael Flynn case
The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals today ruled against Michael Flynn’s attempt to have the case against him dismissed despite the fact the Department of Justice is no longer pressing charges against him.

A federal appeals court has dealt a setback to Michael Flynn, President Donald Trump‘s first national security adviser, ruling that a District Court judge can proceed with a planned hearing on the Justice Department’s attempt to abandon the criminal false-statement case against Flynn.
The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, sitting en banc, voted 8-2 to reject Flynn’s effort to dismiss the case immediately. The court’s ruling Monday also rejected efforts by Flynn to remove District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan from the case over allegations of bias.
It is hard to keep up with all the twists and turns in this case but back in June a three judge panel on this very same court ruled that Judge Sullivan had to drop the case against Michael Flynn. This judge said no, the court is wrong and now this decision overturns its own panel’s decision and rules in favor of the judge the panel had previously ruled against. When they want to get somebody they are going to get them and there is not much anybody can do about it, if they can do this to somebody like Michael Flynn what chances to average people have if we get in the way?

Bette Midler under fire for racists Tweets about Melania Trump
Once in awhile one of these elitists who like to lecture everybody on ethical and moral grounds will open up their mouths and give us a true glimpse into their souls. Such was the case last night with Bette Midler, who was driven to show us how she really felt about people who do not look or sound like her when she watched the First Lady speak.

Entertainer Bette Midler was ripped on social media after mocking Melania Trump‘s accent during the first lady’s Republican National Committee speech from the Rose Garden late Tuesday and for referring to her as an “illegal alien.”
This is ironic, of course, because Trump supporters have been labeled as racists, Xenophobes, and white supremacists by people like Bette Midler for four years now. Actually the attacks go back even further than that, the same was said about anybody who opposed Barack Obama.

Bette Midler walked the comment back today, saying she never should have said what she did. That is all fine and dandy but a person does not just say something like that if they do not believe it, this is how she really feels about immigrants.
People like Bette Midler, and I am sure there are many more just like her on the left, look at groups of people, such as people who look or sound differently than they do, as voting blocks. They assume that the people they put into these groups all act and think the same way but when one of them steps out from the box they have put them in you find out how they really feel.

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic we are still dealing with remote learning in many States. Once upon a time the left frowned on homeschooling because the parents had more control over their children’s education, but this new idea of schooling from home instead of homeschooling allows the teachers to gain a small amount of access into what is going on in a child’s home. In other words they can spy on Americans in their homes.
Does that sound far-fetched to you? In Baltimore, according to this story, a teacher was holding a Zoom call with students and their parents and after the meeting was over the teacher called the police because the student had a BB gun in his room. Here is more:
A Baltimore County, Md., fifth-grader got a visit from the police after his teacher called to report that she had seen a BB gun on the wall behind the student during a class video call.
The boy’s mother, Courtney Lancaster Sperry, a Navy veteran, is warning other parents about a lack of privacy during virtual classes after her son was targeted by a teacher who saw what she thought was a scary-looking gun hanging on the wall of the boy’s bedroom.
“While my son was on a Zoom call, a ‘concerned parent’ and subsequently two teachers saw his properly stowed and mounted Red Ryder BB gun and one other BB gun in the background,” Sperry wrote on Facebook. “He was not holding them and never intentionally showed them on video. In fact, he was oblivious that they could even be seen in the background.”
After the teacher reported the gun, the principal, Jason Feiler, decided to call the police to report the guns and ask that the home be searched.
And I thought it was bad when enough when Wisconsin ordered State employees to wear masks at home while on Zoom calls, but that does not compare to having people spying on you at home and calling the police on law abiding citizens who have done nothing wrong.
But how did the principal justify this? The principle basically said if you are learning from home it is an extension of the classroom and guns are not allowed at school, therefor apparently they felt the family was breaking the law.
The principal and the teacher cited a rule stating that students may not bring guns to school and claimed it extended to virtual classes as well
This increased access into the homes of Americans is sure to be seen as a welcome side effect of the pandemic for the authoritarians on the left, and we are seeing with all the regulations and orders they have been handing down that it is going to be extremely hard for them to give back any of the power they have usurped. If you think this is going to end after the election in November you are sadly mistaken, this is about more than just one election…

New York Democrat claims Andrew Cuomo under-counted COVID-19 nursing home deaths by at least 2,000
When last we left Andrew Cuomo and his nursing home saga we learned that the deaths in nursing homes due to the Governor’s nursing home directive had been under-counted and the real total was much higher than the 6,600 we were told.
Despite Andrew Cuomo having investigated and cleared himself some New York politicians, many Democrats included, have been calling for a special independent investigation into the Governor’s deadly order. We are now beginning to learn more about how deadly this directive was because a Democrat in New York is claiming that at a minimum the death count was under-counted by 2,000, here is more:
During an interview broadcast on Friday’s “CNN Newsroom,” New York State Sen. James Skoufis (D) said that he thinks New York’s numbers underrepresent the number of coronavirus deaths in nursing homes and he believes that “at a minimum, we’re talking probably a couple of thousand additional deaths.”
Skoufis said, “My gut sense is, at a minimum, we’re talking probably a couple of thousand additional deaths.”
The discrepancy is due to the fact that New York did not count people who died in the hospital after being sent there from a nursing home, this of course would lower the number although the patient had to have been infected while in the nursing home. So while Senator Skoufis might be saying publicly this is a “gut sense” we have to believe that he, and the other politicians in New York, know exactly what the number is.
Andrew Cuomo is downplaying his role in these deaths, blaming everybody from Donald Trump to the nursing homes themselves, but he can not be let off the hook for his bad decision and for the ensuing cover up.

We already know about the cozy relationship Bill Clinton shared with Jeffrey Epstein and now it turns out that Hillary Clinton might have been pretty close to Ghislaine Maxwell. According to this story from the left wing Daily Beast, the former Secretary of State gave the now-imprisoned former madam and child-trafficker’s nephew a job in the State Department. Here is more:
Now the celebrity tabloid OK! Magazine is reporting that ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “gifted” Maxwell’s nephew, Alexander Djerassi, a position within her department when he was just out of college and gave him “special treatment.”
A State Department spokesperson told The Daily Beast that Djerassi served as a “Staff Assistant” from May 2009 to June 2012.
The report also appears to reference Djerassi’s LinkedIn profile, which lists his role as chief of staff for the “Office of the Assistant Secretary of State, Bureau of Near Eastern Affairs” from May 2011 to June 2012. Djerassi served as special assistant to the office from May 2009 to May 2011, his online profile says.
But wait, there is more:
From September 2007 to June 2008, Djerassi was a policy associate for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign. He listed his job duties as such: “Researched and drafted memos, briefings, and policy papers for candidate, senior staff, and news media on wide range of domestic and foreign policy issues. Prepared for more than 20 debates.”
And according to the article he also worked on Hillary Clinton’s 2016 Presidential campaign as a “national security policy planner.”
Well, it sure looks like he reaped the rewards from his Aunt’s hard work for the Clinton’s in their dealings with Jeffrey Epstein. It must be a coincidence, I am sure that Hillary Clinton did not know what was going on in the plane and on the island despite her husband’s frequent visits. I am also sure the former President did not have a role in persuading Hillary Clinton to hire Djerassi to show his appreciation…

We live in this silly era where major league sports teams are putting cardboard cutouts in the stands and piping in crowd noise to simulate live crowds while the authoritarian lock downs prohibit the plebeians from attending the usual circuses.
And speaking of circuses, the DNC is not immune to the silliness. They have been caught faking supporters for Kamala Harris last night. Here is more:
Kamala Harris delivered her DNC virtual convention speech on Wednesday night from somewhere.
After she was done there was dead silence and then some women only appeared on a screen and she waved at them.
It did not look like they could see her because they did not react.But then somebody noticed the crowd was faked!

As I wrote, this whole notion of faking crowds to try to provide some type of realism is just plain silly. But what is funny about this is that apparently the DNC could not find 30 different people willing to admit they are Kamala Harris supporters and had to duplicate a few of them.

FBI lawyer pleads guilty in Spygate scandal
Last week it was reported that an ex-FBI lawyer was set to plead guilty to falsifying a document related to the Spygate scandal and today he did just that. Here is more:
Former FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty in federal court in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday to making false statements by altering an email related to former Trump campaign aide Carter Page.
This was not just any document that Mr. Clinesmith doctored either, this document was used to illegitimately procure a FISA warrant to spy on the Trump campaign. But the story goes even deeper than that because this man was on Robert Mueller’s team which was investigating the Russian collusion scandal all the while knowing about the ill-gotten warrant.
His sentencing is not until December so hopefully in the meantime more dominoes will start to fall.
