Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick compares deporting illegal immigrants to sending Jews to concentration camps
Today Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick made a disgusting attempt to shame opponents of illegal immigration into submission by comparing them to what happened at the outbreak of WWII.
Here is what he had to say:
“My inclination is to remember what happened when a ship full of Jewish children tried to come to the United States in 1939 and the United States turned them away, and many of them went to their deaths in Nazi concentration camps.”
It is interesting to note here that he is not the first person to make this analogy: Senator Leahy of Vermont made the same comparison when he said the following:
The Department of Injustice is in the midst of an ongoing investigation into the IRS’s targeting of political opponents (this should come as a surprise to my liberal friends on Facebook who claim the issue has already been investigated and nothing was found) and today the Department of Injustice stated that this investigation would also include the circumstances surrounding the convenient loss of many of Lois Lerner’s potentially pertinent emails regarding the case.

Harry Reid claims the border is secure
Great news everyone! The border is secure–Harry Reid said so and he knows this is true because another Senator told him so.

“The border is secure. [Sen.] Martin Heinrich talked to the caucus today. He’s a border state senator. He said he can say without any equivocation the border is secure.”
Whew! I feel much better now, I thought the fact that thousands of illegal immigrants have been flooding over the border in recent weeks was a sign the border is not secure, but I must have been wrong.
Seriously though; when you read an outlandish statement such as that, and when you hear the White House make the equally outlandish claim that Barack Obama’s policies have improved the “tranquility of the global community” despite the uptick in violence in the Middle East do you ever get the feeling you are living an an alternative universe? Or they are? I do. Who are you going to believe, the Federal government or your lying eyes…

Sheila Jackson Lee claims the border is under control
Despite the fact that illegal immigrants are streaming over the border and willingly turning themselves in because they wish to take advantage of Barack Obama’s Executive Orders which granted de facto amnesty to some illegal immigrants and implemented the DREAM Act Sheila Jackson Lee believes the border is under control.

Regular readers of America’s Watchtower know how I feel about the recent calls for the impeachment of Barack Obama. Here is what I wrote last week about this issue in case you missed it.
Basically I believe that because there is no way in hell the Democratic controlled Senate would ever vote to convict Barack Obama on impeachment charges even if the House did vote to impeach him that this is an exercise in futility and a distraction. The Republicans would be better off focusing on the issues heading into the 2014 election. If they cannot win on the issues they simply do not deserve to win.

As if it were not bad enough that some of the illegal immigrants who have been flooding over the border in recent weeks are carrying diseases which have been eradicated in the United States for decades it has also been reported that gang members have also taken advantage of Barack Obama’s lax immigration policies and have been streaming over the border as well.
But the news gets even worse because it is now being reported that MS-13 gang members who are being held in detention centers are actually using Red Cross phones to call other gang members in order to coordinate criminal activity.
Nobody from ‘True the Vote’ has been interviewed by the FBI or the DOJ over the IRS targeting scandal
According to this article ‘True the Vote’ is the most high profile organization which was allegedly targeted by Lois Lerner’s IRS for political reasons, yet not one person from this group has been interviewed by the FBI or the Department of Injustice.
Noone from True The Vote, the highest profile organization targeted by the IRS in the scandal involving improper scrutiny of conservative-leaning non-profits, has been interviewed by the FBI or investigators from the Department of Justice, according to the group’s President, Catherine Engelbrecht.
Yet Eric Holder still maintains the position that no independent investigation is needed:
Lois Lerner’s FEC colleague had her computer recycled, the emails are conveniently lost
Last month Darrell Issa expanded the investigation into Lois Lerner’s IRS targeting scandal when he subpoenaed 28 years worth of her emails dating back to the time when she was with the FEC. It seems as though her alleged targeting of political opponents began well before her tenure at the IRS.
As if it were not bad enough that Lois Lerner’s hard drive crashed, along with six other IRS employees who are allegedly involved in the IRS targeting scandal, it is now being reported that one of her colleagues in the FEC, April Sands, also had her hard drive recycled and the emails are not retrievable.
Border Patrol Union VP claims some illegal immigrants are carrying diseases “we haven’t seen in decades”
There is a reason why the Obama regime has threatened people with arrest if they continue to talk about the infectious diseases some of the illegal immigrants in the recent surge are carrying, and there is a reason why the regime is also ordering Border Patrol to stop talking to the media, and that reason is easy to define: the problem is much, much worse than the president would like to admit and it is much worse than he wants the American people to know.
Border Patrol agents now face a new threat in addition to placing their lives in danger protecting the border and that threat is disease; we have already heard cases where agents have come down with scabies and head lice but now it is being claimed by the Vice President of the Border Patrol Union, Chris Cabrea, that the agents are now seeing diseases which have not been seen in the United States in decades.
