The more that Elizabeth Warren tries to prove that she is in fact part Native-American the deeper she digs the hole, and to be honest it is getting to be quite entertaining. Her campaign has stated that her great-great-great-grandmother is part Native-American and this makes her 1/32 Native-American but genealogists at the New England Historic Genealogical Society have not been able to find any proof of this claim.
In light of this lack of proof Elizabeth Warren offered as evidence the fact that her family used to sit around the dinner table and discuss their Native-American roots, but not surprisingly this proof has not been taken seriously by too many people so today she offered as proof the fact that one of her relatives described her grandfather as having had “high cheekbones like all of the Indians do.”
She basically is using a racial stereotype as proof of her heritage by stating that all Indians have certain traits which distinguish them from other races. (All Indians with the apparent exception of Elizabeth Warren) Wouldn’t this be akin to a person stating as proof they were part black because they had a nappy headed relative? Or offering as proof that you are part Jewish because a relative had a hooked nose? These are also stereotypes and they are rightfully frowned upon in today’s civilized society and yet Elizabeth Warren has no qualms about using this type of epithet as proof of her heritage and I find this to be quite telling indeed and it should be considered offensive. I guess the same rules do not apply to Elizabeth Warren.
Oh, and by the way, isn’t the term “Indian” not politically correct when speaking of someone with Native-American roots–just saying…..

Now that the Obama regime has declared the war on terror to be over Leon Panetta can focus his attention of the real threat endangering our country–global warming.
Leon Panetta spoke in front of an environmental group and said this:
The area of climate change has a dramatic impact on national security,” Panetta told the Environmental Defense Fund last night. “Rising sea levels, severe droughts, the melting of the polar caps, the more frequent and devastating natural disasters all raise demand for humanitarian assistance and disaster relief
There you have it, with al Qaeda and the Taliban out of the way and no longer a threat to the nation because Barack Obama said so the United States can now turn its attention away from those silly little terrorists and focus on an issue that really interests the president; restricting the liberties and freedoms of American citizens, and attacking the industries which keep America moving. And apparently the Department of Defense is on board.
Scott Brown’s most likely opponent in the November election is a white woman named Elizabeth Warren who has recently come under attack for claiming she was a Native-American when she enrolled herself in law school directories.
Harvard University has used Elizabeth Warren as an example of their racial and gender diversity when the university was fending off accusations that school staff were mainly white males, yet Elizabeth Warren continues to deny she claimed she was a minority to help advance her career.
Today she attempted to explain why she claimed she was a minority and this is what she said:
“I listed myself in the directory in the hopes that it might mean that I would be invited to a luncheon, a group something that might happen with people who are like I am. Nothing like that ever happened, that was clearly not the use for it and so I stopped checking it off
She simply wanted to meet people who were like her and maybe have lunch with them. The thought that liberal policies such as affirmative action might help her–as a listed minority–get her a job never occurred to this liberal. It was a simple misunderstanding and it only took her 10 years of not being invited to hang out with other Native-Americans at lunchtime to realize that it wasn’t working, so she then stopped claiming minority status. Of course, by the time she stopped calling herself a minority her minority status had already helped her advance her career. What a coincidence!
Gunrunner: Darrell Issa takes first formal step toward charging Eric Holder with Contempt of Congress
It has been all too long in the making but Darrell Issa finally made the first formal step in charging Eric Holder with Contempt of Congress for his role in the coverup of Operation Fast and Furious and his stonewalling of the investigation when he distributed his 48 page draft citation to members of the House earlier today.
Here is part of what is contained in the citation:
The documents allege that the Justice Department has issued, “false denials, given answers intended to misdirect investigators, sought to intimidate witnesses, unlawfully withheld subpoenaed documents, and waited to be confronted with indisputable evidence before acknowledging uncomfortable facts.”
“The Justice Department’s demonstrable contempt for the congressional investigation has inflicted harm on the people of two nations seeking the truth – and very pointedly on the family of fallen Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry and ATF whistleblowers who now face retaliation in the wake of their own heroic efforts to expose wrongdoing,”
Charles Grassley came out swinging today and issued Eric Holder an ultimatum, we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way:
The Attorney General is facing a real test of leadership here,” Grassley said in a statement. “He has a choice to make. He can force the department to come clean, or he can force a high-stakes political conflict between the legislative and executive branches. It’s past time to hold accountable those public officials responsible for our own government’s role in walking guns into the hands of criminals. The family of Agent Terry deserves more than what they’re getting from this administration
Charles Grassley also had some words of praise for Darrell Issa:
The subpoena authority of the House Oversight Committee, and the Chairman’s willingness to use it, helped shed light on Operation Fast and Furious and the Justice Department’s desire to allow guns to walk into the hands of Mexican drug cartels,” Grassley said. “Congressman Issa deserves credit for moving forward on contempt. The Attorney General and the Justice Department are thumbing their nose at the constitutional authority provided to the legislative branch to conduct oversight
While Darrell Issa deserves all the credit that Charles Grassley is throwing his way, it still remains unclear whether House Leadership (John Boehner) is going to allow Darrell Issa to move this measure forward. I have one message for the man who is supposed to be the leader: if you are unwilling to lead then either follow or get the hell out of the way.
Operation Fast and Furious has the potential to be one of the biggest scandal in the history of the United States and if John Boehner is unwilling to lead on this he is unfit for the title he holds.

Did Senatorial candidate Elizabeth Warren falsely claim she was a Native-American to advance her career?
I am not sure how well known Elizabeth Warren is on a national level so because I live in New Hampshire and follow Massachusetts politics very closely I will give you a brief summary: Elizabeth Warren is a carpetbagger elitist who moved from Oklahoma to Massachusetts in order to run for the Senate in an attempt to unseat Scott Brown. She claims to have provided the “intellectual foundation” for the Occupy Wall Street movement, and is so in tune with Massachusetts that she recently had to be corrected when she claimed western Massachusetts wasn’t landlocked. It also appears as if Barack Obama has endorsed Elizabeth Warren as the establishment’s choice over the other Democrats running in the primary.
With that summary out of the way, let us get to the main point of this post:
Elizabeth Warren, after an inquiry by the Boston Herald, released documents which showed that from 1986-1995 this white woman actually described herself as a Native-American minority. Needless to say, Scott Brown thought this claim was dubious at best, as did Native-American groups, and she was asked to prove this claim.
Unmanned drones coming to a city near you in the future
On December 11th of last year I wrote a post about how the North Dakota police had used an unmanned drone to locate three Americans who were fugitives from justice. In this post I admitted that this seemed to be a legitimate use of an unmanned drone by the police in order to ensure they weren’t headed into a dangerous situation, but I also lamented about the very real possibility that these drones would become commonplace and would soon be flying over all major American cities:
This story might be a benign example of the usage of a Predator drone on American soil, using a drone on a reconnaissance mission to ensure a situation is safe before the police enter a potentially dangerous situation seems harmless enough, but does anyone not think that their usage will become more commonplace as we move forward if we simply accept this? And as Predator drones flying over American soil becomes more commonplace are we to believe that they will not gain the authority to take more enlarged powers in law enforcement?
I am not talking about a future where Predator drones are called on to fire on American citizens, but rather a future where the drones are routinely flying over American cities and spying on Americans under the justification of stopping potential crimes. I am talking about a future where the military is charged with policing the American people BEFORE a crime has taken place.
Part of my concern came as a result of the Defense Authorization Bill which designated the United States as a battlefield in the war on terror, and the news that Barack Obama’s lawyers have decided that citizens of the United States were legitimate targets for assassination in that same war:
Section 1031 of the NDAA reads: “Congress affirms that the authority of the President to use all necessary and appropriate force … includes the authority for the Armed Forces of the United States to detain covered persons…. [including] [d]etention under the law of war without trial….” This “indefinite detention” section hands over to the executive branch the power to have the military arrest U.S. citizens. No trial needed. Simple suspicion would suffice.
My fears were soon realized when the Congress passed a bill which authorized the funding an implementation of 30,000 unmanned drones to start patrolling the sky over America by the year 2020. Both the Defense Authorization Act and the FCC Reauthorization Act were passed with the consent of the Republican controlled House–and I thought we sent the Tea Party Republicans to the Congress to shrink the size of government, not to institute a policy of spying on law abiding American citizens.

On March 30th the Human Rights Campaign and the Huffington Post both published portions of The National Organization for Marriage’s confidential tax return in an attempt to expose people–primarily Mitt Romney–who have donated to the pro traditional marriage organization.
It goes without saying that stealing a tax return and publishing it is a crime, and NOM has asked Eric Holder’s Department of Injustice to investigate and prosecute whoever it is who is responsible for this crime. And that is where the story gets real interesting because it takes on added significance when you take into account one of Barack Obama’s reelection campaign co-chairs, Joe Solmonese, just happens to run Human Rights Campaign–the organization which first published the tax returns.
We have an organization which is run by Barack Obama’s reelection campaign co-chair publishing stolen tax returns in an attempt to expose causes that another candidate donated to in an attempt to alienate that candidate with a certain segment of the people, do we really expect Eric Holder to investigate this? Think New Black Panthers and voter intimidation.
Earlier today, as I was perusing the internet looking for stories to write about, I came across a story at The Daily Caller entitled “Issa, Boehner at odds over holding Holder in contempt of Congress” and I decided this would be a great story to write about, but something happened between the time I read the article and the time when I sat down to write about it–the story disappeared from The Daily Caller.
It was being reported that Darrell Issa was preparing the citation to hold Eric Holder in Contempt of Congress on several internet news outlets, but only The Daily Caller had a story about an apparent rift between Darrell Issa and John Boehner and now that story is gone, but when I went back to The Daily Caller I found that there was now a new edited version of the story.
Luckily I found the original version of the story on yahoo news and you can read it here and once you read that version you can read the new version of the story here, interestingly enough the new version of the story does mention the fact they originally reported about the possible rift between Issa and Boehner even though they edited it out of the new version.
The House Republicans are now saying that there are no immediate contempt charges being filed against Eric Holder and reports that charges are imminent are inaccurate, and that is the gist of the new version of the story at The Daily Caller. So what is going on here?
