When Barack Obama was running for the office which he currently holds he promised the American people that the days of lobbyists setting the agenda and running the country were over. He felt so strongly about this that one of his first orders of business in his current office was creating new rules which banned lobbyists from the White House. Unfortunately one of his second orders of business was granting waivers to certain lobbyists so they could work in the White House. Needless to say, his second order of business did not draw nearly the press coverage that his first oder of business did.

Back on September 9th of 2011 a story broke, which I wrote about here, that brought the Fast and Furious scandal to a new level–the ATF had allowed grenade parts to be smuggled into Mexico knowing full well that the grenades would be assembled in Mexico and used by the drug cartels. This story seemed to go unnoticed on the national level, and even seemed to disappear from Darrell Issa’s investigation to my disappointment. This was a huge story and yet nobody seemed to be covering it or investigating it.
Well, today that changed as the Department of Injustice finally released documents related to Grenaderunner to the Congress–and yes, they do appear to be as damning as one would think.
Are the dominoes finally beginning to fall in the wake of the Department of Injustice’s scandals? It looks like that may be the case as we have learned earlier today that Eric Holder’s Assistant Attorney General, Ronald Weich, is set to resign in the near future.
Ronald Weich perjured himself under oath when he told the Congress that any allegations the Department of Injustice intentionally allowed weapons to be walked into Mexico was false. It turns out that the DOJ did in fact intentionally allow weapons to walk into Mexico and the only falsehood was Weich sworn testimony.
And then there is the Department of Injustice’s bribery scandal in which he stated the DOJ had no knowledge of the scandal when in fact two officials within the DOJ were taking bribes. Gunrunner: Did the Obama regime blackmail the Mexican government to remain silent on Fast and Furious?
Since the Fast and Furious scandal first burst onto the scene Mexico has denied any knowledge of the deadly scandal but one question remained unanswered; why has the Mexican government remained silent on an international scandal which led to the deaths of hundreds of her citizens, a scandal which could be considered an act of war?
The answer to that question might just be found in Katie Pavlich’s new book on Fast and Furious, from page 111:
“Just as the Fast and Furious scandal threatened to become a major international incident–and intensely embarrassing to the Obama administration, which had worked to form an alliance with Mexico’s government–the outcry suddenly softened.”
“On August 15th, 2011: William Burns America’s Deputy Secretary of State, travelled to Mexico to meet with Mexico’s Foreign Secretary, Patricia Espinoza. According to an inside source who spoke to me only on condition of anonymity, Burns gave the Mexican government an ultimatum: mute its criticism on Fast and Furious or give up a $500 million payment through the Merida Initiative, a State Department program providing funding to combat drug trafficking and related violence.”
“After that meeting, official outrage from the Mexican government seemed to abate.”
Gunrunner: The ATF helped gun shops avoid taxes in order to hide Operation Fast and Furious
I started reading Katie Pavlich’s book on Operation Fast and Furious earlier today and while most of what I have read won’t come as much surprise to anyone who has closely followed this story it is a marvelous book which really helps to tie all the events together and exposes the depth of the Obama regime’s cover up in this scandal.
On page 58 of the book Katie Pavlich mentions something that I hadn’t read in any of the reports to date; I cannot provide a link to the page so I will quote it verbatim:
“Not only did Voth encourage the gun shops to make illegal arms sales, but he and Hope McCallister actually instructed gun shop owners like Andre Howard of Lone Wolf Trading Company on how to file their taxes in such a way that would prevent IRS inquiries, which otherwise might happen because of the spikes in their shops’ incomes.”
Allen West is one of the few people in the Congress who speaks his mind and says what needs to be said with no concern for how it will effect his political future and that is certainly refreshing. Last week he came under fire for comparing certain Democrats in the Congress to communists and Marxists, but instead of backing down under the intense pressure he has faced since those comments he has stood by what he said because he is a man of his words.
You may not agree with what he says all the time–I do–but at least you know where he really stands and what his beliefs are; his beliefs do not change based on the political winds and earlier today he came out firing because the FBI has edited its training videos to be more sensitive to Muslims. He stated that when tolerance becomes a one-way street it would lead to “cultural suicide,” and stated that the Muslim Brotherhood should not be influencing national security.
When pressed on whether or not he felt the Muslim Brotherhood was influencing national security he said “absolutely” and pointed to the Fort Hood attack being classified as workplace violence as proof. It is not racial profiling, it is trend analysis, brilliant!

Gunrunner: DOJ refers reporters to Media Matters on questions concerning Fast and Furious
Back in February of this year, The Daily Caller broke a story which confirmed what many of us believed to be the truth–Media Matters is in bed with the White House, going so far as to hold weekly meetings with the White House to coordinate media strategy. Media Matters is nothing more than a propaganda tool funded by George Soros and is being used by the White House to shape its message and is no longer a legitimate news organization, if it ever was to begin with.
This is no more in evidence than with the latest revelation that reporters are being referred to the state controlled news organization for answers to their questions regarding Operation Fast and Furious–the deadly and disastrous Department of Injustice’s failed gun running program.

Katie Pavlich has just released a book on Operation Fast and Furious and in this book she writes about how the Department of Injustice is directing all questions to their propaganda outlet–Media Matters. Strange as it is that the Obama regime would direct questions to a George Soros funded operation instead of directly answering the questions, that isn’t even what I found most interesting about the above linked article.
Katie Pavlich’s book brings back the issue of the forgotten third gun, and I think it is time to look into this once again. It has been widely reported that there were two guns found at the scene where Brian Terry was gunned down, but there were reports early on that three guns were actually found at the scene, but one of these guns disappeared. There were reports the FBI tampered with the evidence at the scene and removed the third gun.
These rumors were confirmed when audio tapes were released of a conversation between ATF Special Agent Hope MacAllister and Lone Wolf Trading Company owner Andre Howard. For the record, the Lone Wolf Trading Company is the gun shop where many of the Fast and Furious weapons were purchased, and here is part of the transcript:
Back on March 19th I wrote a post about Manuel Fabian Celis-Acosta. Mr. Celis-Acosta was identified as one of the main targets of Operation Fast and Furious, but he was arrested shortly after the deadly operation started and was released by Special Agent Hope MacAllister after he promised to stay in touch with the agency. In that post I wrote that he slipped over the border and was never heard from again, the ATF had their man and they let him go, so it would seem.
But I was wrong when I wrote that post because the ATF did in fact run into Manuel Fabian Celis-Acosta again–two more times to be exact. It turns out that Mr. Celis-Acosta was caught and released on three different occasions, leading to speculation that he was in fact an informant.
The first time Celis-Acosta was captured he was found to be in possession of cocaine and illegal weapons, and the second time he was captured it was discovered that he was hiding 74 rounds of illegally purchased ammunition. But that pales in comparison to what he was doing when he was captured the third time–he was involved in a shootout with an illegally purchased .45 which was captured on surveillance tape.
So was Celis-Acosta an informant? I would consider it possible but this man was one of the main targets of Operation Fast and Furious. He was the higher up the government was supposedly looking for and yet he was allowed to walk. And for what reason?
