Barack Obama complains about Republicans treating him “like a dog”
By now everyone has heard about Barack Obama’s complaint that Republicans are treating him “like a dog,” and to be honest with you I did not intend to post on his statement–and I still do not intend to spend much time on this post– but the more that I thought about it the more it irked me to the point where I had to write about it.
Barack Obama has been coddled his whole life, he is not used to being criticized and as such he has proven to be extremely thin skinned. He was treated with kid gloves all during his campaign; while issues abounded that would have doomed most any other candidate to the spears and arrows of the media, Barack Obama was given a free ride. He just assumed that it would always be that way, but now that he is president he is learning the hard way that anything he says or does is going to be scrutinized; even the media is beginning to question Barack Obama.
Barack Obama wants another $50 billion stimulus bill
The Obama regime has already spent one trillion dollars on the first stimulus package. This money was supposed to rescue the economy, but as of yet we have seen no results–other than arbitrary, incalculable, and unreliable “jobs saved” numbers which the regime has randomly picked out of thin air. When the stimulus bill failed to have an effect on the economy immediately, we were told that it was going to take time and that we needed to have patience, so we waited…..and waited, but still nothing happened.
We were then told that the stimulus bill was a long term solution–not a short term solution–and that the stimulative effects of the bill would really kick in over this Summer–it was even dubbed the Summer of recovery.
But now the Summer is unofficially over and despite the president’s laughable assertion that the economy is headed in the right direction we all know that it is not. The trillion dollar stimulus bill has failed; there is no longer any debate about this point.
So what so you do if you are the Obama regime and your spending policy failed to have any impact whatsoever? You do it again and again!
Vote for Ovide Lamontagne on Right Klik’s “Ten Buck Fridays” poll
The blog Right Klik has been running a feature for several weeks now that is called “Ten Buck Fridays.” For those of you have not heard about it, “Ten Buck Fridays” is a poll that is run Right Klik, and is shared by about 80 conservative blogs, which lists candidates in different races across the country who need our support.
The readers of these blogs are then asked to contribute ten dollars to whichever candidate wins the latest poll. This can add up to quite a few additional dollars coming into the coffers of true conservative candidates.
This week Ovide Lamontagne is among the ten candidates included in the “Ten Buck Fridays” poll; I encourage all of my readers here to please go to Right Klik and cast a vote for Ovide Lamontagne. While the well funded Republican candidates continue to run negative campaign ads slamming each other, Ovide Lamontagne has run a positive, grassroots campaign, and he is gaining in the polls as New Hampshirites tire of the two frontrunner’s continued assault on one another. Ovide Lamontagne does not have the money that either Bill Binnie or Kelly Ayotte has but his message is starting to resonate in New Hampshire.
The timing of this poll is well coordinated, the poll results will be announced on the many blogs on Friday, September 10th–one day after the debate between the major senate candidates. If Ovide Lamontagne has a good showing during the debate, and sees an influx of money for winning the “Ten Buck Friday” poll, he may have just enough time for some ad buys before the primary on September 14th.
This could be a critical turning point is his campaign, please everyone vote for Ovide Lamontagne in this poll! He needs the money and we need him!

By now everyone knows the story of Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Sheriff Joe got himself in hot water with the Obama regime for trying to protect the residents of Arizona by enforcing immigration laws in Arizona. Because Sheriff Joe has been doing his job–and because the Obama regime does not want the borders secured–the Obama regime is now investigating this great man, claiming that he has been guilty of racial profiling.
Today another Arizona sheriff, Paul Babeu–the man who claimed that if he was given a thirty minute meeting with Barack Obama he could teach him how to secure the border–has come to Sheriff Joe’s defense, and assured the great man that America’s sheriffs have his back.
Barack Obama claims the economy is moving in the right direction
With the “Recovery Summer” grinding to a standstill before it even started–losing almost 300,000 jobs since the Summer began, and with the unemployment figure rising to 9.6% Barack Obama had the audacity–after hearing the latest jobs news–to claim that the economy is moving in the right direction.
Because the economy lost fewer jobs than expected, and because many of those jobs lost were temporary census workers, the Obama regime is now trying to claim some type of victory on the jobs front before the mid-term elections.
Barack Obama’s asinine claim can lead us to only two conclusions:
Ovide Lamontagne is surging in the polls!
Nobody who reads this blog on a regular basis needs to be told that I am a huge fan of Ovide Lamontagne in the New Hampshire Republican primary senate race. I feel that he is the best and most conservative person in the race and he would make an exceptional senator.
While I am a huge fan of Ovide Lamontagne I am also a realist and as such I have not felt that he had a great chance of beating the two frontrunners–Kelly Ayotte and Bill Binnie–in this race. Kelly Ayotte is the candidate that comes closest to being the “establishment” candidate–she is well funded and won the endorsement of Sarah Palin–while Bill Binnie is a millionaire who is basically trying to buy his way to the senate seat. Meanwhile Ovide Lamontagne has little money and is relying on a grassroots campaign in an attempt to connect with the people of New Hampshire.
Ovide Lamontagne releases first television ad
While Kelly Ayotte and Bill Binnie continue to bash each other on radio, television, and in print, Ovide Lamontagne is finally set release his first television commercial. Here it is:
Ovide Lamotagne does not have the funding to go all out against the much better funded Ayotte or Binnie, so he has been forced to sit back and bide his time his until now–while running a grassroots campaign and connecting with the people.
I feel that people are getting tired of the negative ads that both Ayotte and Binnie are running and Ovide Lamontagne may be able to parlay that–along with a good showing in the debate on September 9th–into a surge at the polls on September 14th.
Ovide Lamontagne has been running a grassroots campaign and he will have his chance to show the undecided voters of New Hampshire who he is and what he stands for on September 9th.
I ask all of those who are still undecided–as well as those who are tiring of the ongoing war between Ayotte and Binnie–to take a closer look at the man that Laura Ingraham called the “only true conservative in the race.”
The propaganda arm of the Obama regime has gone out of their way to paint all of the Tea Party activists as violent racists who could snap at any moment–Homeland Security has gone so far as to issue a report warning of dangerous radical right wing extremists.
But so far the Tea Party activists have proven to be nothing more than peaceful protesters who long for the day when we can reign in the out of control federal government–through the peaceful process called elections– and return the power back to the people. Yet this has not stopped the leftists–with help from their friends and brothers in arms, the media–from continuing the mantra about the potential dangers of the Tea Party activists–who are still trying to claim that we are no better than the Ku Klux Klan.
While we have remained a peaceful people, the desperate left who feels their power slipping away has grown more and more vitriolic and dangerous and earlier today we learned that one such leftist–John Cusack–has gone on record as hoping for a “satanic death” to overcome Fox News and Republican leaders such as Newt Gingrich and Dick Armey. This sounds almost like a call to arms if you ask me, so much for the all encompassing and tolerant left.
But that isn’t the biggest news coming from the radical left today–not by a longshot.
In his Oval Office speech to America tonight, Barack Obama has officially declared that the Iraq war is over.
Before I go any further, I would first like to thank our troops; your courage, patriotism, dedication, sacrifice, and unselfishness are appreciated more than you will ever know and I cannot put into words how much you are loved and admired here. Thank you for all that you do. Without you I would not be free to sit here and do what I do on a daily basis.
I have to admit that Barack Obama’s speech tonight was better than I had expected it to be–but then again, I didn’t expect much.
Ethics panel probes possible House travel expense violations
An independent ethics panel is in the process of investigating at least six House members for possible violations of travel expenses. This is an investigation not into solely Democrats of Republicans; both parties are being investigated for possible violations.
The point in question here is whether House members have misused their per diems, which are meant to pay for meals and travel expenses while these politicians are carrying out official state duties while traveling.
The problem here is that many of these expenses are picked up by the head of state of the country in which the House member is visiting, meaning that there is excess money that is supposed to be returned to the federal government. That does not appear to be happening in all cases.
