The scientist who is at the heart of the Climategate scandal has announced that he will step down until an investigation into this matter is complete. Phil Jones, the director of the CRU, will relinquish his position temporarily while the investigation is ongoing.
With any luck whatsoever this temporary move will become permanent. In light of the leaked emails this man, and both the CRU and IPCC, have lost all credibility.
These leaked emails should be the death blow to the whole global warming conspiracy, the evidence that the CRU and the IPCC has been perpetrating the biggest hoax in history is overwhelming. I don’t see how the global warming alarmists can justify their agenda anymore. It is now up to the president to announce that he is putting off any action on cap and trade until after the investigation is complete. It is the only fair and honorable thing to do, there is too much money on the line here to do otherwise.
Phil Jones has now set the example that all others should follow until we have gotten to the bottom of this scam. For the president, the United Nations, and the other alarmists to continue to pursue this agenda in the face of this scandal is irresponsible and reprehensible. They are putting their agenda– the global redistribution of wealth– ahead of the science they claim justifies their position.
If it turns out that the whole global warming THEORY has been based on manipulation and lies, and the administration continues to pursue the agenda anyway it shows us that they feel the end justifies the means. In other words; it is okay to redistribute the world’s wealth at any costs regardless of whether or not there is a justifiable reason to do so.
Healthcare rationing and the swine flu vaccination
I wrote a post not too long ago called “Has healthcare rationing already begun in America?” In this post I relayed part of a conversation that I had heard an older man having with another man while I was at a flea market. This older man was shocked because he had gone to his doctor to get the swine flu shot and was told that he was not eligible for the shot because he was too old. Needless to say, this man was incredulous that he could not get the shot– he was stunned. I was not. This was the first salvo fired in the rationing of healthcare. The second salvo was fired when we learned that a government panel loosened the guidelines on mammograms that would delay examinations by ten years. Both of these are examples of healthcare rationing and we can expect it to get much worse after the healthcare reform bill is passed.
Now we have more examples of older people being denied the swine flu vaccination because of their age. Barack Obama declared a national emergency because of the threat of swine flu and the government is responsible for the allocation and administration of the swine flu vaccine. So far the response to this crisis that the government has warned us about has been pathetic. Considering it was the government that told us how dangerous this flu could be it is almost a crime that they have not been able to provide adequate amount of vaccinations. Because there are not enough vaccinations to provide for the care of the American people the government has been forced to declare some groups more at risk than other groups. This is nothing more than healthcare rationing. And the older generation is being left behind, they are not happy about it and who can blame them?

The bottom line here it that there is not enough vaccine to go around and so somebody has to be left out. That is rationing no matter how you look at it.
This is typical of what we can expect after the healthcare reform bill is passed, Sarah Palin took allot of shit for her use of the term “death panels” to describe the end of life counseling that is included in this legislation. She was using an exaggeration to make a point, and that point is that once a person reaches a certain age the government may decide it is too expensive to treat the patient or that a younger person would be better served to receive a treatment instead of an older person. While this rationing is due to the lack of vaccinations and not on the basis of costs, we can expect more of this in the future that is based on costs and I would argue that the new mammogram guidelines are based on future cost savings.
Deciding who will get treated and who will not get treated is healthcare rationing and that is what we are seeing currently with the swine flu vaccination. So I now ask you, who is really full of shit?
White House still considers global warming a threat despite Climategate
Even with the revelations contained in the leaked emails that the climate change scientists have been manipulating the evidence that they accepted while ignoring evidence that climate change does not exist, the White House is going to move on as if nothing has happened. The White House is going to ignore Climategate.
The White House on Monday made exceptionally clear that it wants nothing to do with the furor over documents that global warming skeptics say prove the phenomenon is not a threat.
Despite the incident, which rocked international headlines last week, climate science is sound, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs stressed this afternoon, and the White House nonetheless believes “climate change is happening.”
It is clear that they are going to ignore this scandal because it does not fit their agenda. Barack Obama is going to pretend that global warming is real and he apparently does not care that the climatologists have been cooking the books for years.
“I think there’s no real scientific basis for the dispute of this,” responded Gibbs to questions about those scientists’ credibility.
That is the point! The IPCC has made sure that there was no evidence to debate their point. Did press secretary Robert Gibbs forget the little tidbit that Climategate revealed these scientists have made a concerted effort to make sure that there is no scientific evidence available that is contrary to the global warming agenda? Let us not forget that in addition to Climategate it has been learned that the CRU destroyed all of the raw data that it had compiled that was supposed to have proved that global warming exists, saving only the modified data that the CRU has used to move forward with their agenda. I guess the White House must have missed that information also.
The evidence that the White House is claiming does not exist might not exist but that is only because it has been destroyed in an effort to hide the truth.
The responsible thing for our government to do in light of Climategate would be to suspend any cap and trade agreement with other countries until an investigation can be held. We are about to commit billions of dollars to combat a crisis that probably doesn’t exist– a crisis that has been manufactured through the manipulation of evidence. But the one thing this administration has proved to us is that when it comes to spending our money they are not responsible.

20,000 ACORN documents found in dumpster in advance of investigation
ACORN is in trouble, they recently were caught on tape trying to help a couple set up an underage prostitution ring and helping this couple to avoid paying taxes. As if this were not bad enough, 20,000 documents were found in a dumpster that were thrown away in an apparent attempt to conceal evidence from an ongoing federal investigation into the matter.
These documents were relevent to the ongoing investigation so it certainly appears as though this was an attempt to hide any evidence before the feds were able to see the documents. Is there no limit to the depth of corruption at this organization?
In addition to the crime that was committed by ACORN in trying to destroy this evidence it tells us one thing about the people who work for this organization; they really are not too bright, are they?
Instead of totally destroying the evidence they chose to merely throw it away in a dumpster outside of one of their offices. Did they really think that the feds wouldn’t think to look in the dumpster? In the end their own stupidity could ultimately lead to their undoing.
As if the climategate scandal wasn’t already bad enough for the global warming alarmists, it is now being reported that the UEA’s Climatic Research Unit– oneof the organizations at the heart of climategate– has thrown away all of the data they used to create the models that are being used to predict the impending doom that climatologists have been predicting all of these years.
This organization collected data and then used this data to make their predictions on where the global warming crisis would lead us. After collecting this data and adjusting their models they threw away the data that the models were based on.
The data were gathered from weather stations around the world and then adjusted to take account of variables in the way they were collected. The revised figures were kept, but the originals — stored on paper and magnetic tape — were dumped to save space when the CRU moved to a new building.
Well, isn’t that just a little too convenient?
In a statement on its website, the CRU said: “We do not hold the original raw data but only the value-added (quality controlled and homogenised) data.”
We are now supposed to believe that the data that the CRU is still in pocession of is legitimate even though nobody can see the data on which it is based.
“The CRU is basically saying, ‘Trust us’. So much for settling questions and resolving debates with science,” he said.
Trust them? I do not think so. I did not trust them before the news of climategate broke and I certainly do not trust them now. There was no reason for them to delete the data their whole argument is based on other than the fact that it might disprove their theory. We will never know what the CRU based their theory on and it appears as if that is exactly the way they want it.
The climate change alarmists have had their whole world turned upside down in the last week. These people can no longer be trusted; I would argue that they could never be trusted in the first place, and this just provides further proof that this climate change crisis has been manufactured since the beginning.
It is time to say enough is enough; the jig is up. They have been caught manipulating the evidence, ignoring the evidence that does not fit their agenda, and now they have been caught destroying the only evidence that could possibly show their deception.
Man-made global warming is a scam and it has been from the beginning. It is time to put an end to this madness.
Did Barack Obama fire Gerald Walpin to cover up a sex scandal?
The story of the AmeriCorp inspector that Barack Obama illegally fired, Gerald Walpin, has taken another unforseen turn in Walpin’s road to redemption.
Gerald Walpin was fired by Barack Obama in violation of the Inspector General Reform Act of 2008– a bill that he co-sponsored as a senator– after it was learned that he had uncovered a misuse of AmeriCorps funds to the tune of $800,000. Gerald Walpin was closing in on the director of AmeriCorps, Kevin Johnson, who just happens to be a friend and political ally of Barack Obama’s, and let us not forget AmeriCorps is one of Obama’s favorite organizations. When the investigation tightened and as Kevin Johnson looked to be the target Barack Obama fired the man who was closing in on the criminal.
Now it looks like some of the money that Kevin Johnson was misappropriating was being paid out as hush money to cover up a sex scandal. This is something that Gerald Walpin had uncovered and it will be included in the official House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform report.
Michelle Rhee– who is now Kevin Johnson’s fiancée– made it her “number one priority” to take care of the sexual improprieties of her future husband and where do we think that this money came from? Kevin Johnson’s attorney also met with one of Kevin Johnson’s victims and offered her $1000 a month to keep quiet. Where do we think that money came from?
Barack Obama fired Gerald Walpin abruptly in the middle of this case. The only reason that he gave was that he lost faith in Walpin, in essence he called him a senile old man. That excuse is not enough to satisfy the law, which states that Barack Obama must provide the senate with specific details for the firing. He never justified the firing because there was no way to.
There was no reason for Barack Obama to fire Gerald Walpin in the middle of such a confusing and convoluted case in less he had ulterior motives. The only reasons that Barack Obama would have fired Gerald Walpin for doing his jobs would be to one: protect his political ally and friend, and two; to protect an organization that he cares about. He wanted to slow down this investigation so he took the action that was most likely to do just that.
Today Gerald Walpin is out of a job because he exposed $800,000 worth of corruption courtesy of the man who was supposed to bring us the most open and honest administration is history. Meanwhile the man who Gerald Walpin was trying to expose, Kevin Johnson, has been elected mayor of Sacramento.
Soon enough the congressional report will be out and everything that Barack Obama was trying to hide will be brought to light and the world will see that Barack Obama is no different than any other politician. Not that I would have expected anything else, but the image he tried to portray was of himself being a different type of politician. He promised to change the way Washington did business but he is just business as usual.

Even as the president prepares to fly to Copenhagen for the much ballyhooed climate change negotiations, the climategate scandal is gaining momentum in the United States as people scour the internet in search of the scandalous emails.
This article states that climategate may have doomed the cap and trade legislation that is now pending in congress. I hope so, but I do not think that the we can rely on that prediction. The fact alone that Barack Obama is still flying to Copenhagen is proof enough to me that the liberals in congress are not taking climategate serious enough.
The cap and trade legislation was always going to be a difficult sell with the American people, and with the economy in the tank and with Obama ignoring the economy to fly halfway around the world to talk about climate change the people are getting restless. The American people are wondering why Barack Obama has put the Copenhagen trip and cap and trade above the economy in terms of priorities.
And with the news that the climate change data has been rigged from the beginning people are beginning to wonder why Obama is wasting his time and our money flying over there to save the talks. This is part of the reason why we can not count on climategate to doom the cap and trade legislation. Barack Obama and the leadership in congress are ignoring this story; they are moving ahead as if nothing has happened.
The latest polls on healthcare reform show that only 35% of the people agree with the healthcare reform bill being debated in congress yet they are pushing ahead with the legislation anyway. To hell with the American people; we know what is best for them and they are too stupid to understand we are doing this for their own good. That is the mantra of the liberal leadership in congress. And that is exactly what is happening on climategate also.
That is why the news of climategate won’t stop the cap and trade legislation in and of itself; that is why we have to apply the pressure to these people. The protests and angry emails haven’t stopped the liberal leadership from moving forward against the people’s will on the healthcare reform bill, but we have seen how much trouble Barack Obama has had getting a bill passed. With the majorities Obama enjoys in congress he should be able to pass whatever he wants, but he hasn’t been able to, and that is because some of the vulnerable politicians have to listen to us whether they want to or not. We have slowed the healthcare reform legislation down and it will be up to us to STOP the cap and trade bill now in congress.
Cap and trade can be stopped, but it will be up to us to do it. We cannot let these politicians ignore the climategate story. We have to call, write, and email our senators and congressmen and demand an investigation into climategate. Because this goes beyond just cap and trade, as the article I linked to above also states; there could have been criminal activity on the part of the IPCC; did they falsify data to secure funds? On the surface it certainly appears as though they did.
This is a serious matter and it needs to be addressed by congress. Cap and trade is based on this data and now we have irrefutable proof that the data has been rigged. The people responsible for manipulating this data to fit a political agenda need to be brought to justice; they are criminals and they have already cost the taxpayers millions– if not billions– of dollars.
Climategate should doom cap and trade, especially in an economy that can’t afford to have legislation passed that would further cripple it. We have to make sure that our leadership does not ignore this story. We have to make them listen to us! Any politician who does not do anything to have this story investigated is an accessory after the fact to the climate change crime.

A little levity first thing this morning; below is a video that I found while at The Reaganite Republican.
Uninvited couple at the White House met President Obama
I still have my doubts about the story of the uninvited couple that were able to crash the White House state dinner last week. I find it incredibly hard to believe that the president did not know that a couple who were trying to make a reality television show were going to be at the state dinner. I find it equally unbelievable that they were able to crash this dinner without the knowledge of the secret service. I find it to be entirely more believable that the president knew this couple and their reality television show were going to attend this dinner and that he approved of it. I cannot believe that such a breach of security was so easily achieved.
We are now learning that this couple actually made it through the greeting line and were able to meet the president. If the story that is being reported is true and this couple really did crash the state dinner unbeknownst to the president somebody has to be held accountable. We are also being told that the president was never in any danger and he obviously wasn’t but that doesn’t mean that this couldn’t happen again by someone who is dangerous.
The actions going forward will hopefully shed more light on this subject. If somebody is held accountable I will find it much more believable that this couple did somehow manage to bypass security although the White House could just be setting up a fall guy to take the heat for a planned dinner crash.
If nobody is held accountable than I think that it is perfectly reasonable to suspect that the president knew this was going to happen all along. Something is just not right with this story; there is more to this story than we are being told.
If the president knew that this couple was going to crash the dinner and he allowed it to happen and possibly planned the whole thing himself for publicity reasons I find this to be a show of conceit and deception never before seen at this level. I find it to be so far beneath the office of the presidency that I that I just can’t put it into words.
However if this story is true and we are being told the whole story I find the ineptitude of those providing security for the president to be more than totally lacking. If this couple was able to get around security and meet the president unannounced and uninvited than the president dodged a major bullet– so to speak– here. This could have been a couple hell bent on taking out the president.
And to take the matter one step farther, if this couple did get around security unbeknownst to the president– while this may have been benign– it has shown anyone who may want to do the president harm that it can easily be done. This could happen again and next time the intruder may have much more evil intent.
The investigation is ongoing but I still just cannot believe that a couple was able to get all the way to the president’s side without prior knowledge that they were going to be there. I am probably wrong, but if I am I still have a couple of questions.
The first one is: which is worse, the president or someone in his administration planning this for publicity or the fact that someone was so easily mistakenly given such close access to the president?
The second question is; did a change in Barack Obama’s policies for politically correct reasons leave the secret service afraid to question the interlopers as thoroughly as they should have been for fear of reprisals? Maybe the president didn’t know these people were going to crash the dinner but just maybe his policies made it possible.
One thing is certain, we need answers.
