We can see in this article that much of what I have been saying about the true goals of the global warming hoax is true. Before I get to that however, this is a quote that I find interesting from the article:
President Obama has pushed for the passage of the bill in the Senate and attended a G8 summit this week where he agreed to attempt to keep the Earth’s temperatures from rising more than 2 degrees C.
When you hear it put in those terms you realize how insane these people really are. Do they really think that the earth’s temperature can be controlled? Does anybody really believe this is possible? How narcissistic does a person have to be to believe that ANY person, or group of people, can control the temperature of the earth?
Anyway, back to exposing the true goals of global warming. Taxes and control, and the socialization of the world economy.
At recent UN global warming conferences calls for a new “global carbon tax” have been talked about.
In addition, calls for a global carbon tax have been urged at recent UN global warming conferences. In December 2007, the UN climate conference in Bali, urged the adoption of a global carbon tax that would represent “a global burden sharing system, fair, with solidarity, and legally binding to all nations.”
“Finally someone will pay for these [climate related] costs,” Othmar Schwank, a global tax advocate, said at the 2007 UN conference after a panel titled “A Global CO2 Tax.”
A tax that will be “legally binding to all nations” which of course means all citizens. Everybody will be subject to this new tax.
Which leads us into the other goal of the global warming scam, global socialization:
Schwank noted that wealthy nations like the U.S. would bear the biggest burden based on the “polluters pay principle.” The U.S. and other wealthy nations need to “contribute significantly more to this global fund,” Schwank explained.
Wealthy nations would contribute more than non-wealthy nations, I think it is safe to assume that the wealthy nation most in question here is the United States. Now correct me if I am wrong, and I am sure somebody will, but is it not true that the wealthiest nations already have the toughest environmental restrictions and standards already in place while the under-developed nations have less restrictions in place? If this is true why is it that the nations that need to pay more are the wealthy nations and not the nations that are actually polluting the air at a higher rate?
The answer, which we will see in the next quote, is that this is all about an implementation of global socialistic system. It has nothing to do with pollution, or the environment, and everything to do with “redistributing the wealth.”
The environmental group Friends of the Earth advocated the transfer of money from rich to poor nations during the 2007 UN climate conference.
“A climate change response must have at its heart a redistribution of wealth and resources,” said Emma Brindal, a climate justice campaigner coordinator for Friends of the Earth.
That last statement is everything that you need to know about the true agenda of the global warming advocates. But in case you need a little more convincing. here is a quote from Al Gore on the recently passed climate change bill:
But it is the awareness itself that will drive the change and one of the ways it will drive the change is through global governance
What more needs to be said?
The myth that 90% of the guns used in Mexican drug violence come from the United States has been exposed yet the anti-gun crowd continues to promote this lie. In reality only 17% of the guns recovered have been traced back to the United States, that is almost 180% from the lie that is being touted.
Here we have another example of someone claiming that the United States is responsible for criminals activity in Mexico.
D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton (D) told members of the Obama administration that the United States is responsible for arming Mexican drug cartels and she was embarrassed that Mexico is not angry about it.
The United State is responsible for arming the drug cartels? Evidently the facts mean nothing to this woman. Here is what she said:
“It’s extremely embarrassing that Mexico has been as kind to us,” Norton said Thursday at a hearing of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. “I would have been very, very angry at the Big Kahuna in the north that was essentially shipping down arms to kill my people.”
She is claiming that President Obama (the Big Kahuna) is basically shipping guns to Mexico and killing Mexicans because he has not clamped down on gun laws. She is embarrassed that Mexico is being so nice to us in spite of Obama’s de facto killing spree in Mexico?
This is extremely offensive even to someone like me who has an extreme disdain for the president. Instead of blaming the Mexican drug lords and all of the other criminals involved she is deflecting the blame onto the president to further her ultimate goal.
It isn’t hard to see what the end game is when you read the following comment:
“I suppose it would be easier to control them if we did what the Clinton administration did and ban semi-automatic weapons,” Quigley said. “It’s a lot easier to control them if they are not being sold.”
Massachusetts has been hassling a New Hampshire tire business that sold tires to Massachusetts residents. Massachusetts has a “use tax,” this tax requires residents to report all items bought in other states on their tax returns in order to collect the sales tax that the consumer has avoided. The tax in not enforceable and because of this Massachusetts has been trying to force New Hampshire businesses to collect the sales tax for them.
This did not sit well with the New Hampshire governor or the Attorney General, who claimed that “New Hampshire businesses will not become agents of Massachusetts tax authorities.” And now it is official– the border war is over and Massachusetts lost. New Hampshire governor John Lynch has signed a bill into law that stops Massachusetts from trying to collect taxes from New Hampshire businesses.
No longer will Massachusetts governor Deval Patrick be able to try to thwart the constitution and attempt to extend his greedy little fingers into New Hampshire, if the governor wants to collect his “use tax” he must now go after the people who are avoiding the tax, not the businesses in another state. That is not going to happen, the law cannot be enforced.
Allow me for a minute to climb up on my soapbox, (New Hampshire is turning into Massachusetts so I will use my soapbox while I still can), and ask that all residents of Massachusetts extend a big thank you to New Hampshire for looking out for you. It is obvious that a majority of Massachusetts residents cannot look out for themselves or they wouldn’t keep voting these tax and spend Democrats into office. Today New Hampshire has protected you from yourselves. Feel free to keep coming to New Hampshire and spending your money here, for that I will return the thank you.
Many on the right have been waiting for the assault on the second amendment to begin. We have the most anti-gun president in the history of our country and yet we are still waiting for the attack on gun owners to begin. Or are we?
We have heard rumblings about the Mexican drug violence and how the guns being used to commit these violent crimes are coming from America. It now appears as if the administration is beginning to stealthily take on some gun owners using the Mexican violence as the excuse for harassing gun owners in Texas.
The ATF has been going door to door in Texas, questioning gun owners. They are doing this for no just cause, in some cases for no other reason than they recently purchased a gun that happens to be the same caliber that the drug lords prefer. The ATF is going into gun shops and combing through the records of recent gun sales and then harassing the people who made those purchases.
The ATF is also interviewing people about their neighbors for no reason and asking them about any “suspicious” gun purchases that their neighbors might have made.
And now comes news that when a gun that has been used in a violent crime in Mexico has been traced back to the original owner the ATF is paying that owner a visit and “interviewing” that owner. I can understand that they need to find out how that gun ended up in Mexico but there is a little problem with the way the ATF is conducting these “interviews.”
When asked whether or not they were acquiring search warrants before visiting these gun owners the ATF refused comment. In all likelihood that means that they are not getting a search warrant.
The ATF is investigating violent gun crimes and they are “interviewing” American citizens who may or may not be even slightly involved in the crime and they may not be taking the time to have a search warrant issued before conducting interviews with those they feel might have either willingly or unknowingly put the gun on the streets.
What are these citizens supposed to do? If they refuse to talk to the ATF without a search warrant it will send up red flags, even if the person is innocent, but their rights may be in the process of being violated here.
So while there has been no legislation and seemingly no action being taken in Washington to curb the rights of gun owners it does appear that there is something fishy and unconstitutional going on in Texas to gun owners.
The ATF was out in full force without probable cause and without justification already and now it appears when they do have probable cause they are not following the proper procedure and acquiring a search warrant.
I am really not surprised that it turns out there are billions of dollars of pork projects hidden in the healthcare reform bill. According to this article the pork projects include walking paths, streetlights, jungle gyms, and farmers’ markets.
The administration is not calling these pet projects pork of course. The administration is using the excuse that all of these items help Americans lead a healthier lifestyle. Therefor these projects are vital to reducing healthcare costs and are needed in healthcare reform.
The truth is that these projects are adding billions of dollars in costs to an already bloated healthcare reform bill at a time when the country cannot afford it. This administration has already spent trillions of dollars that we do not have and this is just another example of this administration’s out of control spending. Somebody has to pay for it, any guesses who?
The spending has to stop somewhere, it might as well be here.
The USDA to Regulate School Lunchs
Big Brother is closing in.
The Nanny State is growing.
The USDA is going to begin regulating all foods sold in schools. This will also include telling the schools what they can and cannot make available to the students in vending machines.
This is just the beginning of the government stretching its tentacles into the private lives of all of its citizens. The government will start regulating what kinds of foods can be sold in schools but where will this idea stop?
The president is proposing that $1 billion be spent on children nutritional programs but this is only the beginning. Once the government run healthcare bill passes this notion of telling people what they can and cannot eat will spread to everybody.
We keep hearing that one of the ways to cut down on healthcare costs is prevention, the government will use this as an excuse to regulate what type of snacks any American who is on government healthcare can eat.
This administration has an ultimate goal of growing the government; every program that President Obama has passed has this goal in mind and this is another example.
The government is in the process of telling us which types of cars we can drive, what kind of lightbulbs we can use, and soon which types of foods we can eat. We need to put a a stop to this type of government intervention right now.
A new congressional report was just released and in what should come as a surprise to no-one, the government was found to be at fault for the current mortgage crisis. Freddie Mac and Frannie Mae encouraged people who could not afford to buy homes to buy them anyway. This was done to be “fair” instead of only giving money to those that could afford it.
In the short run, this government intervention was successful in its stated goal – raising the national home ownership rate,” says the report, the result of an investigation launched last fall by Republican members of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
“However, the ultimate effect was to create a mortgage tsunami that wrought devastation on the American people and economy,” says the report. “While government intervention was not the sole cause of the financial crisis, its role was significant and has received too little attention.”
The report goes on to blame the policies of both the Clinton and Bush administrations. Both of them are long gone so this post will not focus on either of them. There is still one prominent member of congress who played a big roll in this meltdown and that is where this post will focus.
Other than in the blogosphere, Barney Frank has managed to skate through this crisis without a scratch and he is one of the biggest reasons that we are in the crisis in the first place. It is believed that the mortgage meltdown caused the slowing down of the economy and the recession and the massive growth in the list of expert credit repair companies, Barney Frank played a huge roll in implementing the plans that have lead to this recession.
Barney Frank is a dangerous man, he fought against passing tougher restrictions on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, he denied that there was a looming problem shortly before the meltdown began, and most recently we found out that he has not learned from his past mistakes. Just last month he asked both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae to loosen up their lending restrictions that were imposed after the meltdown began:

One of the biggest problems that led to the crisis was lending restrictions that were too low and now Barney Frank is advocating the same type of policy that got us into this mess in the first place.
Barney Frank got a free ride through all of this but it is obvious to me that he needs to step down as Chairman of the House Financial Services Committee– for the good of the economy, and of the country.
You remember former Democrat Congressman William Jefferson, don’t you? Just in case you forgot, he is the congressman who diverted the rescue operation in New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina in order to save $90,000 in bribes from his flooded out home in New Orleans. He put his own corrupt necessities above the wants of his constituents who were trapped in their houses after the hurricane.
He is now on trial for federal bribery charges and the jury has seen video of him accepting bribes. I hope that this man gets what he has coming to him. I only wish that he were also on trial for diverting the rescue effort after Hurricane Katrina to hide his own mis-dealings. I feel that his bigger crime may have been stopping the rescue effort after Hurricane Katrina to hide his corruption. How many people needed help and were left waiting to be rescued while William Jefferson rescued his bribe money? This man has no decency and no soul and I hope that he goes to jail for a long, long time.
According to this article John Boehner is claiming that Joe Biden is lying about his claim that the administration “misread the economy” when they passed the stimulus bill.
“I found it … interesting over the last couple of days to hear Vice President Biden and the president mention the fact that they didn’t realize how difficult an economic circumstance we were in,” Boehner said. “Now this is the greatest fabrication I have seen since I’ve been in Congress.”
“I’ve sat in meetings in the White House with the vice president and the president. There’s not one person that sat in those rooms that didn’t understand how serious our economic crisis was,”
But Boehner did not stop there as he claimed, rightfully so, that the talk that has begun about a second stimulus bill is actually an admission that the stimulus bill has failed.
“All of this talk of a second stimulus bill, I think, is an admission on the part of the administration that their stimulus plan is not working,”
President Obama’s stimulus bill has failed. All of the recent talk of a second stimulus bill is all the proof that we need. Now we have a prominent Republican calling out the president and the vice president on their failed policies and it is good to see to say the least.
President Obama needs to be held accountable for wasting close to $1 trillion and sending us deeper in debt on a policy that has failed to do anything. The administration also needs to be held accountable as to what they knew about the economy and when they knew it.
If the president failed to understand how bad the economy actually was that is no better than implementing a policy that was doomed to failure. Either the president failed to understand the economy or Joe Biden is lying to protect the president’s ass. Neither option covers the president in glory.
If politicians think that repeating the failed policies of the first stimulus bill will bring different results the second time around they are just plain stupid.
Robert Byrd Blasts the Climate Change Bill
It is extremely rare that I agree with the former leader of the Ku Klux Klan, Democrat Senator Robert Byrd, on anything. As a matter of fact other than when he spoke out against the unconstitutional appointment of Hillary Clintonas Secretary of State and when he warned President Obama about his unconstitutional power grabs this is only the third time that I can think of that I have agreed with him.
Robert Byrd has come out firing against the House’s climate change legislation.
“I cannot support the House bill in its present form,” Byrd said in a statement. “I continue to believe that clean coal can be a ‘green’ energy. Those of us who understand coal’s great potential in our quest for energy independence must continue to work diligently in shaping a climate bill that will ensure access to affordable energy for West Virginians. I remain bullish about the future of coal, and am so very proud of the miners who labor and toil in the coalfields of West Virginia.”
Perhaps all is not lost just yet on the climate change legislation. If Robert Byrd can be used as an example of Democrat opposition to this bill perhaps this legislation is indeed dead on arrival in the senate after all.
Let us hope so.
