As you have probably figured out by the title I am just a little miffed at the the aforementioned Republican senators. The big three, the feared three, the turncoat three.
These three Republican senators sided with the Democrats on the president’s irresponsible spending bill that he masquerades as a stimulus bill. These three Republicans sold us out.
I am not talking about partisan politics here but rather what is best for the country and I do not believe that this bill will do any good for the country. I am not alone, polls show support slipping for this bill and doubt rising in the minds of the American people, so much so that President Obama had to go on a campaign style tour to try and sell this bill to the people.
We had a chance to stop or at least slow down the implementation of a massive spending bill during a recession when it is least afforded and these three let America down. This bill is so bad that even John McCain couldn’t take his normal pleasure at breaking party ranks.
The stimulus bill, and I use that term lightly; this is a massive spending bill the likes of which has never been seen, is now headed to conference between the house and senate to see if a compromise bill can be reached and sent to the president’s desk. In spite of Susan Collins’, Olympia Snowe’s and Arlen Specter’s promise that they will play hardball in the upcoming conference this bill will soon be headed to the president for his signature.
Why should we trust these three senators to do what is right when they refused to stop this bill in the senate when they had the chance? This bill is all but a done deal and we can all thank the big three Republicans for showing no backbone and siding with a bill that is destined to fail.
Let me reemphasize– Susan Collins, Olympia Snowe and Arlen Specter, you suck!
President Obama Claims There is no Pork in the Stimulus Bill
When is Pork Not Pork? When the president says so.
When President Obama answers questions from the media you can hear the arrogance and condescension in his voice. Sometimes even belligerence. He comes off as an I know what is best for you nanny state politician.
During last night’s press conference he came off as something else– a liar.
During his speech President Obama had the audacity (of hope) to claim there is no pork in his welfare stimulus package.
“I know that there are a lot of folks out there who’ve been saying, ‘Oh, this is pork, and this is money that’s going to be wasted,’ and et cetera, et cetera. Understand, this bill does not have a single earmark in it, which is unprecedented for a bill of this size. … There aren’t individual pork projects that members of Congress are putting into this bill.”
As this article points out, technically he is right, there are no individual earmarks, but this is a semantics game. Let’s face it, we all know pork when we see it and this bill is pork. As a matter of fact this bill is nothing but a giant pork barrel bill, the largest in history. President Obama is making history once again, this time by the amount of money he is willing to spend on welfare and left wing programs in one bill.
But the fact is President Obama can call his outrageous spending appropriations anything he wants but it is what it is and it is a huge expenditure that this country cannot afford. President Obama must think that Americans are too stupid to realize wasteful spending when they see it. Claiming that there is no pork in the stimulus is an outright lie. HE LIED to the American people and he thinks that we are either too stupid or uncaring/oblivious to the fact and that he can get away with such a clear untruth.
I find his arrogance and condescension downright offensive.
Global Warming Alarmists are Driving Children Insane
Last year there was a story about a boy who had been indoctrinated into the idea of man-made global warming to the point where he was afraid to drink water because he thought that it would kill people.
Last year, an anxious, depressed 17-year-old boy was admitted to the psychiatric unit at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. He was refusing to drink water. Worried about drought related to climate change, the young man was convinced that if he drank, millions of people would die. The Australian doctors wrote the case up as the first known instance of “climate change delusion.”
The first case of climate change delusion. That sounds like a fitting name to me, if you think that climate change is real and is man-made you are delusional. But anyway, this was the first case but according to this article there is a growing number of children that are beginning to suffer from this disease.

The article goes on to explain that people often have anxiety over traumatic events and disasters, and that is what we are seeing from our children about global warming, but is it?
I don’t think that that is what is going on here. The global warming alarmists are frightening our children into believing that they are destroying the planet by their very existence. Global warming alarmists are traumatizing our children. It is almost criminal the mental anguish that these people are subjecting our children to.
Day in and day out our children are being deluged with images of falling icebergs, flooded homelands, death, destruction, devastation, starvation, and all kinds of other horrific possibilities because of global warming. They are also being taught that all of this is their fault. And then we wonder why some of them are feeling stressor depression? They feel guilty for their very existence.
These children are literally being driven insane by these global warming alarmists.
These people are committing child abuse.
Stimulus? Obama to Spy on Medical Records
President Obama is up-playing (if that is a word) the recession in order to pass much of his far left agenda before the people know what hit them.
One of the latest revelations of what is hidden in the bill is this story about the federalization of every American’s health care records including what treatments people are taking.
The bill’s health rules will affect “every individual in the United States” (445, 454, 479). Your medical treatments will be tracked electronically by a federal system. Having electronic medical records at your fingertips, easily transferred to a hospital, is beneficial. It will help avoid duplicate tests and errors.
What’s wrong with that? That sounds good doesn’t it? Streamlining the system to benefit all Americans. Read on:
But the bill goes further. One new bureaucracy, the National Coordinator of Health Information Technology, will monitor treatments to make sure your doctor is doing what the federal government deems appropriate and cost effective.
Wow! The government is going to monitor how your doctor is treating you and then deciding if the treatment is appropriate. So much for doctor/patient privacy. The government is going to set up an agency to spy on you and your medical history under President Obama and yet it was President Bush who was invading the privacy of Americans under the Patriot Act?
This provision in the stimulus bill was recommended by the now disgraced tax cheat Tom Daschle.
There is a reason Obama wants this bill passed quickly and the reason is that he doesn’t want his subjects finding out what is in this bill.

Obama’s Speech on the Economy; Only Government Can Solve the Problem
Tonight President Obama gave his stimulus package pep talk trying to convince a sceptical American people that his stimulus bill will actually work. Once again President Obama is using the politics of fear to pass what is nothing but a pork barrel, earmark filled, welfare spending bill. Gone is hope and change replaced with fear mongering.
There is one thing that he said that really bothers the hell out of me:
At this particular moment, with the private sector so weakened by this recession, the federal government is the only entity left with the resources to jolt our economy back to life
Only the federal government can help? What an arrogant, condescending thing to say to the American people. We have been through many recessions over the years, many recessions since the great depression and in the end it is the American people who lead the way out. It is the free market system and businesses that lead the people out. The American people always find the right path back to success.
What makes this recession different?
The fact that we have a far left president whose main goal is to use this crisis to get as many people on the government mammary as possible. That is the only difference. And let me tell you something, the government mammary is going to be getting some serious augmentation surgery over the next four years. This is only the beginning.
For the president of the United States of America to stand before the people of the country and tell us all that we can’t do it on our own but that the savior is here to lead us to the promise land is frankly downright insulting. To hold the American people in such low regard is despicable.
He believes that when left on our own we caused this problem and now only he can swoop in and save the day and I find this insulting. I don’t know what else to say.
Illegal Aliens Sue American Citizen for Civil Rights Violations
!6 would be illegal aliens are now suing an American citizen for preventing them from illegally entering the United States. This is the new America that we live in. This is President Obama’s America. Sure this incident happened before he became president but we can expect much more of this type of lawsuit under our new president. We can expect illegal aliens to gain rights over the citizens of the United States and we can expect the rights to a trial by a jury to be extended to terrorists. It’s just the way of the world under President Obama.
These illegals are suing this Arizona man for $32 million punitive damages for civil rights violations, he hurt their feelings by stopping them from entering the country and having them arrested.
Trial continues Monday in the federal lawsuit, which seeks $32 million in actual and punitive damages for civil rights violations, the infliction of emotional distress and other crimes
Attorneys for the immigrants – five women and 11 men who were trying to cross illegally into the United States – have accused Mr. Barnett of holding the group captive at gunpoint, threatening to turn his dog loose on them and saying he would shoot anyone who tried to escape.
Roger Barnett began arresting illegal aliens and turning them over to the border patrol 10 years ago after he became fed up with illegal aliens destroying his property, breaking into his house, and killing his cattle, while the federal government would do nothing to stop them.
Roger Bartlett is the victim but in today’s upside down world he is being prosecuted for the crime of defending his property.
“This is my land. I´m the victim here,” Mr. Barnett said. “When someone´s home and loved ones are in jeopardy and the government seemingly can´t do anything about it, I feel justified in taking matters into my own hands. And I always watch my back
And now Mr. Bartlett you must watch your back alright, the federal government has failed you and all Americans. Non-citizens have more rights then honest hard working Americans.
This type of lawsuit is only going to become more prevalent over the next four years so we must all watch our backs. A man no longer as the right to defend himself or his property from an invasion, and that is what the stream of illegal aliens coming across our border is– an invasion.
New Hampshire Lawmakers Propose a Gas Tax Increase
When gas prices were high all of the politicians were using the issue to make political gains. They were bemoaning the amounts of money that the oil companies were making and using the issue as one of many to become the majority party.
Now that gas prices are lower, almost back to normal, what does the Democrat majority in New Hampshire want to do? Raise the gas prices. A bill is being sponsored by Rep. David Campbell that will increase the state gas tax by 5 cents a year for the next five years.
The politicians weren’t really concerned with how much the oil companies were profiting, they were just upset that they weren’t profiting as much as they could be. It would have been political suicide for them to raise the price of gas when it was $4 a gallon but now they assume that people won’t care because they were paying so much before that a 15 cent increase over three years is a mere pittance.
Gas prices are already back on the rise slightly, so it behooves New Hampshire Democrats to move quickly (and they will) if they want to pass this before there is a huge public outcry. Gas prises have been rising ever since President Obama was sworn in and they are likely going to continue climbing as President Obama shows that he is weak on Middle East issues and Middle East leaders will begin to take advantage of him.
Now that New Hampshire is going to have a new senator the Union Leaders asks in this acticle, where does senator-designate Bonnie Newman stand on the issues? A fair question, she has never ran for an elected position so she has never had to campaign on issues before.
She calls herself a reasonable Republican. Needless to say that qualifier before her party affiliation is a little annoying as it infers that most Republicans are not reasonable.
“If you took (Republican Sens.) Susan Collins and Olympia Snowe and (Democrat) Jeanne Shaheen and Bonnie, probably among the four of them, there are not going to be a heck of a lot of issues that they are not voting the same way on,” Helms said.
That sums it all up right there, I don’t need to know any more. Governor Lynch has taken some heat from the Democrats because of his willingness to appoint a Republican to fill Judd Gregg’s seat and it has been unfounded. Governor Lynch was never going to give the seat to a conservative. In Bonnie Newman he has picked a person who will side with the Democrats as often as not and held the seat away from a conservative Republican so that the Democrats will have a good chance to pick up that seat in 2010.
One of the president’s goals with Judd Gregg’s nomination to his cabinet was to pick up the 60th vote in the senate but Lynch appointing a Republican to that seat has denied him that vote. Or has it?
Last night the senate reached a compromise on the stimulus bill that is still outrageous and unacceptable. Here is James Inhofe’s statement on the bill from his website:
“While I appreciate the efforts of my colleagues to bring down the price tag of this bill, the fact is we still face a trillion dollar spending bill. Making it worse, the bill is 93% spending and only 7% stimulation. Over the past few days I have fought to include more in the way of real stimulus through higher percentage of infrastructure and defense spending, while working to cut much of the typical government waste often found in a bill of this size. Yet Democrats have blocked these efforts.
“The good news tonight is that the American people are catching on to the fact that this is the largest spending bill in history and are becoming more and more vocal in their opposition. My offices in Oklahoma and Washington DC have been flooded with emails, phone calls and faxes overwhelmingly opposed to this trillion dollar legislation. They can rest assured that my vote remains an unwavering ‘no.'”
There is still time to stop this bill. The vote is scheduled for Monday at 5:30, it is up to EVERY one of us who oppose this legislation to write or call our senators and voice our displeasure with the piece of legislation.
Contrary to what the arrogant, condescending president claimed yesterday, a stimulus bill doesn’t have to be a spending bill. Sure if the money is spent on job creating projects that is one thing but the spending in this bill that has nothing to do with helping the economy is astonishing. This bill should be called the “Entitlements for America and Democrat Agenda Bill of 2009”, this bill is nothing but an attempt to pass funding that otherwise would never make it passed the senate.
It is tome to make our voices be heard. We stopped the immigration reform bill and we can stop this bill but we have to act now.

Using Abortion to Stop Global Warming
I have written many, many times about the true agenda of the global warming alarmists in Washington and their plan to subjugate the American people through taxes and regulations and I have also written about one of the goals of the movement being global socialization. But there is still another goal of the global warming movement and it can be read in this article– population control and abortion.
I am unapologetic about asking people to connect up their own responsibility for their total environmental footprint and how they decide to procreate and how many children they think are appropriate
I think we will work our way towards a position that says that having more than two children is irresponsible. It is the ghost at the table.
Those words were spoken by Jonathon Porritt, chairman of the Sustainable Development Commission. He is talking about population control, he is talking about a government being able to dictate to couples how many children they can have. That is what they do in COMMUNIST China, that is not what we do here in America and most other free countries.
Naturally the talk of limiting family sizes goes hand in hand with abortion.
Porritt, a former chairman of the Green party, says the government must improve family planning, even if it means shifting money from curing illness to increasing contraception and abortion.
He said: “We still have one of the highest rates of teenage pregnancies in Europe and we still have relatively high levels of pregnancies going to birth, often among women who are not convinced they want to become mothers.
He wants to take money away from the people who are trying to cure diseases so that we can kill the unborn. To hell with the living as long as money is being syphoned into abortion clinics. Wonderful. That is where his priorities lie.
The global warming hoax is a perfect opportunity for the left to push their whole agenda. Higher taxes, more fees, more regulations, punishing big businesses, global socialization, and abortion. And they are trying to use it to their fullest extent.
