Just trying to have a little fun with the new wordpress polling feature.

Video: How Stupid are Some Obama Supporters?

October 16, 2008

Howard Stern sent a man out on the street to interview people who are voting for Obama. He asked them about specific Obama policies, and if they agreed with them, only he used McCain’s actual policies to see if these people knew what they were talking about.

 Watch the hilarity.

Video: Joe Biden says Jobs is a Three Letter Word

October 16, 2008
tags:

This video is just kind of funny. The human gaffe machine was at it again. This time he calls jobs a three letter word and even spells out J-O-B-S. This means nothing but is still funny, Remember how Dan Quayle was skewered for misspelling potato? This is in the same category.

Hugo Chavez Teases Bush About the Nationalization of American Banks

October 16, 2008

Yet another post on the socialization of the American economy from me, I’m sorry but when you read a story like this one it is just too hard to ignore. Some people may feel as though I went off the deep end with my criticism of President Bush when I said the following in this post:

The president made it his staple to protect America after 9/11 and he did, but he has done almost as much to undermine America and her form of government in the last two months as he did to protect her the last eight years. While he has protected us from enemies abroad, he has sold us out to the enemies of free market, capitalism from within. The result of this is the rise of Barack Obama, under whom the socialization of America will only be expedited.

Some people may consider that to be fear mongering or conspiratorial, but I do not think so. Some may also think that I am over-reacting, but that is not the case. And I am not alone in my thinking. Somebody who knows a little bit about socialism also agrees with me. Someone who knows a little bit about nationalizing a once private industry, such as television and oil companies, agrees with me. That man would bu Hugo Chavez. Hugo Chavez has recently made some statements chiding President Bush for finally realizing that socialism is the government of the future.

Believe me I feel dirty just writing that Hugo Chavez agrees with me on anything, and I will probably take a bath tonight when I am done posting this, but this man has reiterated what I have been saying.

This “rescue” plan is nothing but a government takeover and it stinks to high heaven. I can not stomach it, I can not stand it, and I will not accept it. I have been let down by the man that I put so much faith into.

Socialist Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez mocked George W. Bush as a “comrade” on Wednesday, saying the U.S. president was a hard-line leftist for his government’s intervention of major private banks in the U.S. financial crisis.

Chavez, who calls capitalism an evil and ex-Cuban leader Fidel Castro his mentor, ridiculed Bush for his plan for the federal government to take equity in American banks despite the U.S. right-wing’s criticism of Venezuelan nationalizations.

The United States has done what the president has condemned Hugo Chavez for doing. And we have done it with the okay of the president. We have nationalized a once private industry and do you really think that the government will ever give up the new power that they stole from the American people? I hardly think so.

 Chavez continued:

“Bush is to the left of me now,” Chavez told an audience of international intellectuals debating the benefits of socialism. “Comrade Bush announced he will buy shares in private banks.”

I understand that Chavez is using hyperbole with that last statement and can’t be taken serious, but really is he that far off? The part that really bothers me the most about the government takeovers that we have seen is that I fear it is only the beginning.

We all know that Barack Obama is a socialist and the now famous quote to Joe the plumber about “spreading the wealth around” just proves it to those few remaining lost souls out there who don’t believe that Obama is a socialist. The main problem isn’t with the lost souls who don’t realize he is a socialist, but with the fact that it either doesn’t matter to those Obama supporters who realize it, or at heart all his supporters, and Democrats in general are socialists.

Barack Obama is going to advance a radical left, socialistic agenda and there is nothing that we can do to stop it, especially if he has a 60 vote majority in the senate. I can see this all falling into place and I am extremely disappointed that in the last few remaining days that he has in office President Bush has sold our economy and our banking system into socialism thus walking us further down the path that Barack Obama will lead us. The nationalizing of health-care will be next, and the oil companies may follow. I laughed when Maxine Waters proposed nationalizing the oil companies earlier this year, but it seems plausible now.

As I have written about many times before, Barack Obama is going to go after free speech with the re-instituting of the fairness doctrine and his campaign has already shown a willingness to shut up opposing viewpoints with his truth squads in Missouri, he has threatened television stations with pulling their FCC licences if he disagrees with what they say about him, and the feds are investigating a sheriff for daring to use Obama’s middle name. All of this before he has gained the presidency, what will he be capable of doing once he is president? Where will his Stalinist ideas stop?

President Bush’s seizing of the banks and of the economy leads to the natural progression of Barack Obama’s socialistic view of “spreading the wealth around”, the stage has been set, and the next actor in the play is Barack Obama. I think we all know what will happen in the final act.

Hugo Chavez sees the direction that the United States is headed in and he is laughing and joking. I am not.

Are George Soros and the Democrats Manipulating the Economy for Political Gain

October 15, 2008

This is a repost from a post of mine from last January. In light of the last few weeks, it does make you wonder.

A friend of mine, Ryan, who blogs at Pro Patria, sent me this article about George Soros. We already know about how the Democrats are hoping for failure in Iraq because they have their political futures riding on it, but this article sheds some light on a truly insidious hope for economic failure in the United States by the likes of George Soros. The title of the article, “Soros bets on U.S. Economic Collapse”, should tell you all you need to know.

Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama favor government support for people losing their homes because they can’t repay their subprime mortgages. But what about the financial wheeler-dealers in the hedge fund industry who may stand to make billions of dollars from this terrible debacle? Foremost among them is billionaire hedge fund operator George Soros, who has committed his life and immense financial resources to bringing the Democrats to power in the White House.

Democrats believe it is the government’s responsibility to bail out the people who should never been allowed to buy houses in the first place. They believe it is the government’s responsibility to reward people who made bad decisions with their money and bought houses they couldn’t afford. It’s not. Yet, do the Democrats have a problem with George Soros making billions of dollars off of these chumps? NO! George Soros is a monnbat’s moonbat and he has made it his mission statement to support all Democrat candidates, the more moonbaterish the candidate, the better.

Democrats say that President Bush’s tax cuts only helped the rich, and that the rich don’t pay enough taxes, yet they remain silent on George Soros making billions, that’s billions with a “B”, off of these poor saps who didn’t realize what they were getting themselves into. If they really believed in the working class getting screwed by the rich, instead of bailing out the people who bought these homes, shouldn’t they be going after people like Soros who are making all this money from these people? Yes, but Soros turns around and takes some of the money he makes from the hedge funds that exploit the working class, and gives it to Democrats. The Democrats turn around and give the working class a big FUCK YOU by taking money from the type of person that they supposedly are fighting against.

 George Soros isn’t alone though.

Ties to the controversial and mysterious hedge fund industry could become a major problem for the Democratic Party. Hedge fund money “appears to be tilting toward the Democrats of late,” the New York Times reported last year.

Many Democrats are involved with hedge funds, including a Clinton.

Chelsea Clinton took a job in 2006 with Avenue Capital Group, a hedge fund whose founder, Marc Lasry, has contributed tens of thousands of dollars to the national Democratic Party and many of its candidates.

John Edwards, champion of the poor, week, and disenfranchised also joined a hedge fund that made money from the sub prime mortgage industry, one of the same entities he vows to fight as president.

“The hedge fund that employed John Edwards markedly expanded its subprime lending business while he worked there, becoming a major player in the high-risk mortgage sector Edwards has pilloried in his presidential campaign.”

This is amazing, isn’t it? What a hypocrite John Edwards is! He is making millions off of the same people he claims he will help if elected president. Remember what his excuse was when he was called out on it? He said he only joined the hedge fund to learn about poverty. How stupid does he think we are?

But what is equally disturbing if not more, is the way these people benefit from the United States economy failing. Not only do they benefit from it, but they actually bet on it and hope to be correct in order to line their Democrat funding pockets.

The American people should be quickly educated by our media on how very rich people like Paulson and Soros make “bets” on the rise or fall of national currencies and economies. Paulson is now telling investors “it’s still not too late” to bet on more economic problems.

The article goes on to say that Soros, as a major contributor to the Democrat party stands to collect on his debts if any Democrat is elected to the white house. The article also states that Democrats look to be the beneficiaries of an economy that falls apart, that their election to the presidency may be reliant on it, and that they will also be able to blame the president for the downturn in the economy.

That begs us to ask this question, if Democrats and their billionaire financiers are making billions off of the slowing economy, betting on the economy slowing down, and can also gain politically while blaming the Republican president, would they purposely try to kill the United States economy for political gain?

I know how that may sound, but think about this for a minute. These people are willing to surrender a war, and provide aide and comfort to our enemy in order to humiliate a sitting president in the hopes of regaining power. Now we have learned from this article that major Democrat contributors make billions from the sorrow of the little people that Democrats supposedly fight for and then contribute millions to the Democrats so they can fight for the little people that they just fucked over. At the same time they can blame a Republican president and the American people are too blind to see otherwise. It’s the perfect situation. As the article goes on to ask, will the media go after George Soros and other hedge fund managers who stand to profit from an economic recession or even depression? The answer to that question is NO!

Democrats are already manipulating public opinion about the Iraq war, now they may be manipulating the economy to hurt the working people for the cause of returning to power, and they will never be caught.

It seems to me that Democrats and their billionaire financiers are playing games not only with the economy, but with the lives of the people they are supposed to be fighting for. The American people remain blind and even worse, uncaring and apathetic. It is the perfect recipe for the stew that the Democrats are cooking. Coupled with the fact that the Democrat’s answer to everything is bigger government with more government control and regulations, it makes you wonder.

Once again, something bad for America and her people is good for Democrats. So I ask you is it possible that Democrat high rollers are manipulating the economy for financial and political gain?

 I think it is.

Who Won the Last Presidential Debate?

October 15, 2008

Instead of giving you my thoughts on the latest presidential debate I thought that I would use a brand new wordpress feature. I would like to know who you thought won the debate.

FBI Begins Investigation into Florida Democrat who Replaced Mark Foley

October 15, 2008

The Democrat who won the Florida seat that was held by disgraced Republican Mark Foley has been caught in his own little sex scandal. Considering that Foley had to resign in his own sex scandal, if you can call mere inappropriate emails and text messages a sex scandal, this is just too ironic.

Tim Mahoney “allegedly” paid a mistress of his over $120,000 to keep her from going public, and there are rumors of a second affair. Mark Foley’s seat was not considered in play in 2006 until the scandal broke, and then the calls for his resignation came from both Democrats and Republicans. But when this scandal broke here is what the Democrats said:

Senior Democratic leaders in the House of Representatives, including Rep. Rahm Emanuel (D-IL), the chair of the Democratic Caucus, have been working with Mahoney to keep the matter from hurting his re-election campaign

Suddenly this is a private matter and should not affect the outcome of the election. It’s funny the difference in thinking within the Democrat party depending on which party the perpetrator is in.

Now the FBI is investigating Mahoney, and justice may be served as he is considering not running for re-election.

The FBI has reportedly begun its own preliminary investigation into an ABC News report that West Palm Beach Congressman Tim Mahoney (D-FL) hired an alleged mistress to work on his official staff and then paid her $121,000 to keep her from going public and filing suit after she was fired.

But the whole kicker in this is the following:

According to the Mahoney staffers, his secret agreement with the woman, Patricia Allen, began in 2006 when he was campaigning for office, vowing to remove the “ethical cloud” he said had been left over the district by Republican Mark Foley

This whole affair (pardon the pun) was happening as he was campaigning for Mark Foley’s seat. This whole affair was taking place even as he was vowing to be more ethical than his predecessor. He was saying one thing in public even as he was acting in the opposite manner.

This man is nothing but a hypocrite.

John Murtha Admits that his Voter Base is Racist

October 15, 2008

This doesn’t say much for John Murtha, does it?

“There is no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area.”

This man just threw a whole cross section of people under the bus. Isn’t it called stereotyping when you do or say something like this? Haven’t we been told over and over again that it is wrong to stereotype people?

One does have to wonder though, if his base is racist, than what do they see in Murtha that they like? Maybe he is too.

The United States Government to Take Over the Banking System

October 14, 2008

I previously wrote about the president considering a take over the banking system here, and it now appears as though this is going to happen. The bailout bill gave Paulson the authority to do whatever the hell he wanted to do with $1 trillion. And he has begun to spend it.

The federal government is now poised to take over the top nine banks in the country.

Treasury essentially forced the nine major U.S. banks to agree to take $125 billion from the federal government. Treasury will buy $25 billion in preferred stock from Bank of America — including Merrill Lynch— as well as J.P. Morgan and Citigroup; between $20 billion and $25 billion from Wells Fargo & Co.; $10 billion from Goldman Sachs Group Inc. and Morgan Stanley; $3 billion from Bank of New York Mellon; and about $2 billion from State Street. The remainder will be available to small- and medium-size institutions that apply for an investment.

This is a socialization of the banking system no matter how you look at it.

The move, in effect a partial nationalization of the banking system, does put the United States in the awkward position of owning shares in institutions it also regulates. The shares purchased by the government will be nonvoting. They also give the government a priority in getting paid back if a company fails.

The president has assured us (whatever that is worth) that this is only temporary. He claims that this is not an attack on the free market.

“The government’s role will be limited and temporary,” Bush pledged. “These measures are not intended to take over the free market but to preserve it.”

Even as the president claims that he is saving the free market, the government is taking it over. A direct contradiction. We are supposed to believe that it will only be temporary, how many times has a government willingly given back power that it stole from the people?

But, historically, it’s often hard to undo new rules in Washington after businesses, consumers and policy makers adjust to changes.

The government will never give up this new power, we are slipping into socialism and it is almost probably too late to stop it.

The more that we hear about this bailout bill the worse it gets.

America as we know it is slipping away and I am not sure that it can be reversed, somehow it seems a majority of Americans have accepted socialism and I am not even sure that they realize it. Barack Obama fits perfectly in that America and that is what has me worried.

I have defended the president through thick and thin but I cannot defend him on this one. I am just too damned pissed off about it. As the momentum builds for Barack Obama and it looks as though he may be headed to a landslide victory in November I can’t help but think of a line from Star Wars, Revenge of the Sith. The line was meant as a shot at President Bush and at the time I thought that is was ludicrous, but now I find it apt, “So this is how democracy ends, with thunderous applause.”

 Welcome to Obama-world.

Video: Barack Obama’s Ties to ACORN

October 14, 2008

Barack Obama is running from his past. One of his associations that he is distancing himself from is his relationship to ACORN. The group which is under investigation in eleven states for voter fraud.

Here is a video that shows us a little bit about the Obama /ACORN relationship.
