Sheriff Investigated after Using Barack Obama’s Middle Name
Barack Obama and his campaign have an ever growing list of people that they are trying to silence because they dare to disagree with Barack Obama.
We had the story of Obama sending out “truth squads” in Missouri to threaten and intimidate those who run television ads that the campaign disagrees with. He has actually convinced some members of law enforcement to join him in shutting down free speech in Missouri, to the chagrin of the governor, who said the following:
“St. Louis County Circuit Attorney Bob McCulloch, St. Louis City Circuit Attorney Jennifer Joyce, Jefferson County Sheriff Glenn Boyer, and Obama and the leader of his Missouricampaign Senator Claire McCaskill have attached the stench of police state tactics to the Obama-Biden campaign.
“What Senator Obama and his helpers are doing is scandalous beyond words, the party that claims to be the party of Thomas Jefferson is abusing the justice system and offices of public trust to silence political criticism with threats of prosecution and criminal punishment.
“This abuse of the law for intimidation insults the most sacred principles and ideals of Jefferson. I can think of nothing more offensive to Jefferson’s thinking than using the power of the state to deprive Americans of their civil rights. The only conceivable purpose of Messrs. McCulloch, Obama and the others is to frighten people away from expressing themselves, to chill free and open debate, to suppress support and donations to conservative organizations targeted by this anti-civil rights, to strangle criticism of Mr. Obama, to suppress ads about his support of higher taxes, and to choke out criticism on television, radio, the Internet, blogs, e-mail and daily conversation about the election.
“Barack Obama needs to grow up. Leftist blogs and others in the press constantly say false things about me and my family. Usually, we ignore false and scurrilous accusations because the purveyors have no credibility. When necessary, we refute them. Enlisting Missouri law enforcement to intimidate people and kill free debate is reminiscent of the Sedition Acts – not a free society.”
We then learned about a case where the Obama campaign is pressuring television stations to stop running ads that are sponsored by the NRA because he doesn’t like what they are saying. He threatened their FCC licence if they do not comply.
Using those two examples it is not hard to imagine that the Obama campaign had some involvement with the anti-Obama writer who was detained in Kenya while on a fact finding mission. The writer was on his way to a press conference to reveal what he had found out about Barack Obama when he was arrested and detained by soldiers. Barack Obama previously funneled money to the Odinga campaign and now that Odinga is president is it that much of a stretch to assume that perhaps Obama called in a favor?
Which then brings us to this latest case of Obama’s campaign trying to shut up the opposition in a Stalinist fashion. His only transgression, he used Barack Obama middle name in a speech.
“I am on duty 24/7 and 365 whether in or out of uniform. Like every other elected official, I am aware of from President to Governor to State Representatives, etc. We engage in political activities whether for ourselves as candidates or for others. As of this writing, I am unaware of having done anything to generate all this attention other than using the senator’s full name.”
Feds are now investigating him to see if this was a case of him using his authority to influence an election. Apparently Obama is so sensitive of his middle name that is is no longer acceptable for someone to utter it in public.
Talk about using authority to influence an election. Isn’t that what Barack Obama is doing by continually trying to silence the opposition? Is this a precursor to how Barack Obama is going to operate as president? I believe it is, and it is a scary thought. If Barack Obama is already trying to silence through intimidation and threats those that oppose him what lengths will he go to as president when he actually has some power?
Reinstituting the fairness doctrine is a good start, and rest assured he will start there, but it will only be the beginning. After conservative talk radio and blogs are shut down what’s next? Government run television? Government run radio? Where does it stop?
Barack Obama has shown a willingness not to debate the opposition but to silence them. Evidently he feels that because he is right that if you oppose him not only are you wrong but you don’t deserve a voice. You don’t deserve a platform to voice your opinions. He will decide what can and cannot be said.
We have already seen many cases where the left cries racism when people try to speak out against Obama. Rather than debate what is being said they try to discredit you through illigitimate claims of racism. This is nothing but another attempt at silencing rather than debating.
I end this post with this little gem from the book 1984; “Don’t you see that the whole aim of Newspeak is to narrow the range of thought?”
Replace the word “Newspeak” with the words “political correctness.”
That is where we are in America.
One Upside to the Economic Crisis
At least one scientist is talking about the positive effect that the economic crisis will have, and no I am not talking about the foreclosed properties that people are now going to be able to buy at very affordable prices. I am talking about a topic that is an old friend of mine but one which I haven’t written about in a while.
Global warming. Paul J Crutzen, a Nobel prize winning scientist has just admitted that while the economy may be hurting people it is saving the planet.
It’s a cruel thing to say … but if we are looking at a slowdown in the economy, there will be less fossil fuels burning, so for the climate it could be an advantage,” Crutzen told Reuters in an interview.
“We could have a much slower increase of CO2 emissions in the atmosphere … people will start saving (on energy use) … but things may get worse if there is less money available for research and that would be serious.”
I have long held the belief that global warming is not really about saving the planet but rather about subjugating the American people through taxes, fees, regulations and restrictions. All of these things would hurt the economy and now we have a scientist admitting that a hurting economy is good for the planet.
I have said it before and now I am going to say it again. Every solution that we have heard to stop global warming contains at least one of the following; more taxes, more restrictions, or more government control. All three of these are actually one in the same however. More taxes means less money for the people (which hurts the economy, and means less freedom because of the lack of extra money), more restrictions means less freedom; less freedom, less money, and more restrictions mean more government control. (Did that read right, it sounded right in my head.)
All of this is bad for the economy, raising taxes and fees always hurts the economy. So in reality all of the solutions for global warming hurt the economy, and with a bad economy comes more people looking to the government for help. The government will be implementing the tools that force the people to look toward the government to help them.
We have just come full circle.
Latest New Hampshire Presidential Poll (10/08/08)
The latest New Hampshire presidential poll is out and it is not surprising that we find John McCain fading away.
A new poll suggests Barack Obama is making big strides in New Hampshire.
The CNN/Time Magazine/Opinion Research Corporation poll gives Obama 53 percent of the state’s likely voters to 45 percent for John McCain
This may not seem like a huge margin but John McCain had always been popular here and was able to remain close to or ahead of Barack Obama. Now Obama has over 50% of the vote in New Hampshire for the first time, and McCain seems to be falling here just as he is in all of the other battleground states.
This poll doesn’t even reflect last night’s terrible showing at the debate, wait until those numbers come out.
This race is shaping up to not be a race at all.
Barack Obama may have received $3 million from people in foreign countries. This is okay if the people sending him money are Americans living abroad, however it is illegal if these are foreign citizens sending in donations. The RNC has filed a complaint with the FEC asking for an investigation into possible donations from foreign citizens to the Obama campaign.
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has raised about $3.3 million from contributors who did not list a home state or who designated their state with an abbreviation that did not match one of the 50 states or U.S. territories, according to records provided by the Federal Election Commission.
Most of those contributors did identify themselves as living abroad in foreign cities. Under federal law, foreign citizens cannot make political contributions, but U.S. citizens living abroad can.
Above the $3 million in question there is also money that comes from people who have donated less than $200 and there are no records of who these people are. Barack Obama’s campaign hasn’t bothered to keep very accurate records on who is making small donations to his campaign.
The $3.3 million total does not include donors who have given less than $200 and whose contributions do not have to be itemized. Some of that money could also have come from overseas.
While technically Obama has done nothing wrong by not itemizing these small donations there is another number that I find staggering.
About half of Obama’s $455 million in contributions so far are unitemized. The campaign does not identify those donors.
There are no records for over $200 million that have been donated to Obama. That is a hell of allot of $200 donations. This sounds like more that just “Joe Sixpack” sending in a small donation. There is more going on here. It makes you wonder how many people have sent Obama $200 and how many times. How many big time players are out there sending in multiple donations of $200 donation so that they can go undetected? And where is this money coming from?
John McCain’s campaign however lists all donations and where they came from, even if it is a five dollar donation. So it’s not just a matter of time constraints as the campaign claims.
Why can’t, or won’t, Obama’s campaign show us where the money is coming from? His record in the state senate is devoid of a paper trail as he has voted present on an alarming number of bills (130) to keep his agenda hidden, and now his campaign is devoid of a paper trail of where his donations are coming from.
His past is off limits, his state senate voting record is purposely thin, and his campaign refuses to release where all of his money is coming from.
Barack Obama is operating in stealth mode. He is hiding who he is and who is donating to his campaign, there has to be reason. He is the most liberal person ever to get this close to the presidency and he is going to win. There are just too many secrets with this man, and they are beyond coincidences.

Second McCain/Obama Debate is Over; My Thoughts
Pre-debate thoughts: I thought that I would give you my pre-debate thoughts and then after the debate write my analysis of the debate.
All of the trends that I see point towards a Barack Obama victory in November. Barack Obama is pulling ahead in the national polls, but more importantly he leads in all of the swing states and appears to be gaining momentum. John McCain has waved the white flag of surrender in Michigan and has pulled out, another sign that his campaign is in trouble.
Unless something changes drastically in the next month I believe that Barack Obama is headed towards not just a victory but a landslide victory. It better start tonight.
Post-debate thoughts: I thought the first debate was bad, this one was worse. It was boring and uneventful. John McCain needed to score big time tonight and he failed. There really is no further analysis needed.
It is over, John McCain is a terrible candidate and has no chance to win.
Anti-Obama Writer Detained in Kenya
Jerome Corsi, who wrote an anti-Obama book called The Obama Nation, was in Kenya investigating Obama’s connections to Kenya. He was to hold a press conference in which he was going to discuss what he had found.
There was a little surprise waiting for Corsi as he made his way to the press conference, though. It was the Kenya’s immigration department. They swooped in an arrested him before he could make public his findings.
Corsi had promised a news conference today that would “expose details of deep secret ties between U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and a section of Kenya government leaders, their connection to certain sectoral groups in Kenya and subsequent plot to be executed in Kenya should Senator Obama win the American presidency.”
Somebody didn’t want this information out there. Here is some of what Corsi was going to reveal:
Corsi was set to show Obama and Odinga have been in direct contact since the senator’s visit to Kenya in 2006. He was to claim Obama advised Odinga on campaign strategy and helped him raise money in the U.S. for the Kenya presidential campaign.
Obama was raising money in the United States and sending it to the campaign of a foreign election. But what about that campaign strategy that Obama helped Odinga with?
Corsi was to report Odinga’s 2007 presidential campaign strategy called for exploiting anti-Kikuyu tribal sentiments, claiming victory and charging voter fraud even if the campaign knew the election had been legitimately lost. Odinga, Corsi said, also was willing to fan the flames of ethnic tribal tensions
Ethnic tribal tensions? Could this be equivalent to the class warfare that the Democrats love to use in America as a campaign strategy? But the kicker to me is that Odinga was prepared to claim voter fraud occurred even if he knew that the charges were unfounded and untrue. That is straight out of the Democrat playbook, and foreshadows what can be expected from Obama in the extremely unlikely event that he loses the election.
So somebody wanted Corsi silenced, was it Odinga or was it the Obama campaign that made the call to collect on a debt for the campaign money that was funneled into Kenya? In order to answer that question we must once again look to Barack Obama’s past.
Barack Obama has already admitted that he is in favor of silencing the people who do not agree with him and I am not only talking about his approval of re-instituting the fairness doctrine to shut down conservative radio and blogs. That would have to wait until he was president, he is already in the game of harassing and threatening those who oppose him with the “truth squads” that he sent out in Missouri to intimidate people who run commercials that are critical of him. He is also pressuring television stations not to run ads critical of him by the NRA. Is it really too much of a stretch to think that Obama had a hand in this?
But Obama’s defiance of the freedom of the press and of free speech, isn’t where his disdain for the constitution ends. As director of the Joyce Foundation he worked hard to undermine an individual’s right to keep and bear arms using the court system, and will continue to do so once he assumes the presidency with his judicial nominees. Regardless of what he now says.
And of course no discussion of Obama’s past can be finished without talking about his association with William Ayers. Obama’s campaign likes to say that Obama was only eight when Ayers committed his terrorist attacks on the Pentagon, but Obama’sassociation with Ayers is much more recent than that. As director and co-founder with William Ayer of The Chicago Annenberg Challenge he helped fund William Ayers and his radical teachings in Chicago.
Which then leads us to Reverend Jeremiah Wright and his radical, race baiting, hate mongering, anti-American sermons that Barack Obama attended for twenty years. And brought his children to.
Obama’s past is filled with associations to people unfriendly with America and with ideas that are contrary to the constitution and the rights of speech, press, and the right to bear arms. So again I ask, is it so hard to believe that Obama had a hand in this writers detainment in Kenya?
All of these associations and beliefs are just too conveniently coincidental for me to believe. Barack Obama has a pattern here, it is a pattern that we are supposed to ignore. If you dare to ask about Obama’s past you are accused of either engaging in the politics of personal destruction, or of personal attacks, or of being a racist. Or all of the above. We are supposed to believe that Barack Obama’s past is not relevant to the campaign, but who a person is today derives from who he was and what happened to him in the past. Barack Obama’s past is just too damn shady and I can not ignore it.
Obama’s past does matter today, especially when the associations that he claims were long ago were allot more recent than Obama cares to admit.
But why was Corsi coincidentally detained just as he was headed to his press conference? Was it just another coincidence? Or was there more? What was Corsi going to reveal?
Just one more question, could it have been a birth certificate?
Where Does Barack Obama Stand on the Second Amendment Part 2
There are already many questions about Barack Obama’s stance on the second amendment. While filling out a questionnaire during his Illinois years he claimed that he supported a total ban on handguns, something that he now denies. But now we have this article that claims Barack Obama was director of an organization that actively tries to ban all rights of the individual to keep and bear arms.
he remains strangely silent about his eight years (1994-2002) as a director of the Joyce Foundation, a billion dollar tax-exempt organization. He has one obvious reason: during his time as director, Joyce Foundation spent millions creating and supporting anti-gun organizations.
But there is more to the story including a nefarious plot to ban the individual right to keep and bear arms by influencing the judicial branch of the government.
When judges cannot rely upon past decisions, they sometimes turn to law review articles. Law reviews are impartial, and famed for meticulous cite-checking. They are also produced on a shoestring. Authors of articles receive no compensation; editors are law students who work for a tiny stipend.
In 1999, midway through Obama’s tenure, the Joyce board voted to grant the Chicago-Kent Law Review $84,000, a staggering sum by law review standards. The Review promptly published an issue in which all articles attacked the individual right view of the Second Amendment.
And the sad part is that the plan worked.
One court, in the course of ruling that there was no individual right to arms, cited the Chicago-Kent articles eight times.
And.
Its next move came when Ohio State University announced it was establishing the “Second Amendment Research Center” as a thinktank headed by anti-individual-right historian Saul Cornell. Joyce put up no less than $400,000 to bankroll its creation. The grant was awarded at the board’s December 2002 meeting, Obama’s last function as a Joyce director. In reporting the grant, the OSU magazine Making History made clear that the purpose was to influence a future Supreme Court case:
“The effort is timely: a series of test cases – based on a new wave of scholarship, a recent decision by a federal Court of Appeals in Texas, and a revised Justice Department policy-are working their way through the courts. The litigants challenge the courts’ traditional reading of the Second Amendment as a protection of the states’ right to organize militia, asserting that the Amendment confers a much broader right for individuals to own guns. The United States Supreme Court is likely to resolve the debate within the next three to five years.”
All of this, and more, happened inside the Joyce Foundation while Barack Obama was director. And the plan almost succeeded to an unbelievable extent. Remember the supreme court’s ruling in the Heller case, which challenged Washington D.C.’s handgun ban. The court ruled in favor of an individuals right to keep and bear arms, but the decision was only 5-4. We almost lost the second amendment. It turns out that all for dissenting judges used writings of the Joyce Foundation in their decision.
The four dissenters were persuaded in part by Joyce-funded writings, down to relying on an article which misled them on critical historical documents.
The organization that Barack Obama was director of for eight years almost succeeded in influencing the supreme court into the position that the right to bear arms is not a personal right. Let me just ask you one question. What type of judges is Barack Obama likely to nominate for the supreme court?
If you are bitter and are clinging to you gun out of frustration have no fear, Barack Obama will make sure that you aren’t clinging to it for long.
The Republican National Committee wants to have the Federal Election Commission investigate some donations that have been made to Barack Obama’s campaign. Besides the possibility that the “citizen of the world” may be accepting foreign money as donations, there is also another clause that Obama may be using to hide some illegal contributions.
At the heart of the RNC complaint is a federal fundraising rule that lets campaigns accept donations under $200 without itemizing the names and addresses of the donors on its campaign finance reports. The rule was intended as a matter of practicality — it did not seem reasonable to ask a campaign to gather that information from every five-dollar donor.
But the Obama campaign has raised more than $200 million this way, a staggering sum for donations that will not be subjected to outside scrutiny.
That is a hell of allot of money coming in from donations under $200 and the RNC wants it looked at. It appears as though some people are contributing much more than what is allowed by using small increments.
Two apparently fictional donors using the names “Doodad Pro” and “Good Will” gave Obama more than $11,000 in increments of $10 and $25, according to Newsweek.
And that is not all, according to this article Barack Obama may have received $34 million from citizens of other countries, which makes them ineligible to donate to American elections.
Other news accounts suggest that roughly 11,500 donors who gave a total of $34 million to the campaign may be citizens of foreign countries, who are not allowed to contribute to U.S. elections
Either Barack Obama’s campaign is ignorant of campaign laws or they know the laws but their lust for money and power led them to turn a blind eye to what was going on under their noses. If this is true, was it a mistake or did Barack Obama learn a little something from his association with convicted felon Tony Rezko?
This is why John McCain is afraid to attack Barack Obama on his associations with people of questionable character, to put it nicely. Sarah Palin did it and now she is being called a racist. Sarah Palin had the gall to go out in public and talk about Barack Obama’s ties to radical anti-American people, and convicted criminals that gave him a sweetheart land deal, and now she has to face the music that Barack Obama should be facing.
Palin’s words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee “palling around” with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn’t see their America?
Whether intended or not by the McCain campaign, portraying Obama as “not like us” is another potential appeal to racism. It suggests that the Hawaiian-born Christian is, at heart, un-American.
Most troubling, however, is how allowing racism to creep into the discussion serves McCain’s purpose so well. As the fallout from Wright’s sermons showed earlier this year, forcing Obama to abandon issues to talk about race leads to unresolved arguments about America’s promise to treat all people equally.
Her comments had nothing to do with race and everything to do with the people that Barack Obama associates with. But Barack Obama is hiding his past, and he is making it an untouchable subject by having his all too willing accomplices in the media cry racism every time that someone questions his associations.
You may not want to talk about Obama’s past, it’s an ugly past, but it is his past, and it deserves discussion. Instead of being upset at Sarah Palin for mentioning his past, instead of calling her a racist, you should be upset with Barack Obama for hanging around with the likes of Jeremiah Wright and Tony Rezko, and you should be upset with Obama for funding William Ayers’ radical teachings. There would be no issue if Obama hadn’t decided that these were good, uplifting people to “pal around with” in the first place.
It is all too easy for Barack Obama to hide behind the race card rather than face the truth about who he has associated with. He has spent the primary season and the general election cycle setting up this racist scenario knowing that eventually his past would be an issue. Instead of taking responsibility for his past actions he blames others for daring to question him. Maybe Barack Obama should look in the mirror.
Has he ever heard of the term guilt by association, or the saying that a person is judged by the company he keeps? Evidently not. He wants to blame others for noticing what he has done rather than himself for doing it.
Political correctness has made Barack Obama beyond reproach because of the color of his skin, so while Barack Obama has some questions that need to be answered we are not allowed to ask the questions.
Sarah Palin Goes on the Offensive
Barack Obama has allot of ghosts in his past. We are not supposed to talk about them, when the subject is brought up we are accused of engaging in the politics of personal destruction. We are accused of not sticking to the issues. We are accused of character assassination. But his past should be talked about, you can learn allot about a person by the people that he hangs around with.
Barack Obama is trying to run from his past, or more correctly, he is trying to hide his past. He doesn’t want his past to be a campaign issue, and there is good reason for that. But his past should be an issue, for we can tell much about the man if we know where he came from. His relationships with Rezko, Jeremiah Wright, and Bill Ayers are relationships that most Americans don’t even know about because they have been deemed off limits in the media with the exception of talk radio and the blogs.

The McCain campaign has been unwilling to bring up Obama’s past but now it appears as though Sarah Palin is going to go on the offensive and attack Barack Obama for his past (and possible present) connections to some despicable characters.
Today Sarah Palin accused Barack Obama of “palling around with terrorists”, a direct attack on Obama’s relationship to domestic terrorist, William Ayers. Barack Obama has tried to downplay his relationship with Ayers, but he was co-founder of a foundation with him, and it was recently learned that Obama actually funded Bill Ayers’ radical teachings through this foundation.
She also attacked his negative view, or embarrassment (to use his own word), of the country which has given him everything that he could have possibly wanted.
“Our opponent … is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.” She also said, “This is not a man who sees America as you see America and as I see America.”
But William Ayers isn’t the only questionable character that Obama knows, there is still that sweetheart land deal that Obama got through convicted slumlord Tony Rezko. We aren’t supposed to talk about this little tidbit from Obama’s past either.
And then there is Obama’s spiritual guide, the Reverend Wright. The hate spewing, venom filled preacher who spreads racism and lies through his church. He claims that the United States government created AIDS to kill black people, wants God to damn America, and said that on 9/11 America’s chickens had come home to roost. He said all this while on the pulpit. The pulpit of a church that Barack Obama not only went to for twenty years but also thought it wise to bring his little girls there to hear this man’s hatred. Reverend Wright served on Obama’s campaign staff until that unfortunate video surfaced, this man isn’t in the distant past.
We are not supposed to talk about any of these issues because Barack Obama doesn’t want us to. You may believe that none of this is relevant to the campaign, but I do. This man has several questionable ties in his past, at least I think that they are in his past, and it brings us to the issue of Barack Obama’s judgement.
Barack Obama is running on his judgement and so I feel it is a legitimate issue to look into Obama’s past and see the kind of people he was hanging around, and being mentored by. If a person’s past isn’t a legitimate issue than why did the Obama campaign send a team of thirty people up to Alaska to dig up dirt on Sarah Palin? You can’t have it both ways.
The McCain campaign is beginning to question Barack Obama’s character and Sarah Palin has gone on the offensive.
It is about time, but it is probably too late.
