When I see Arnold make a comment like this one below it almost sucks me in:
I’m always ready to help in any way I can, the United States. I’ve committed myself to be a public servant. I said to myself, ‘This country has given me everything. It’s my time, now — I’m through with the acting and all of those things that I’ve done, body building.
“Even though I love all of those things still, for me, it’s important to give something back, do my work without getting paid and give something back, no matter what I do.
This is a man who came to this country and achieved great success and because of his success he feels the need to give something back. I respect that, I am glad that someone actually is proud of the opportunity he was given because he came to America. When I hear these leftist hate America Hollywood types that owe everything that they have to this country do nothing but bash the country it pisses me off. These people would be nothing without the country they so willingly shit on. At least Arnold appreciates what America has done for him.
BUT!
Now comes word that Arnold would be open to being energy czar in an Obama cabinet? What the hell makes him qualified to be the “energy czar” in any cabinet? Just because his state is taxing the shit out of it’s residents to save the planet? Just because his state is restricting the freedoms of it’s own people to save the planet? Is that what makes him qualified?
All of a sudden because Arnold has fallen victim to the global warming scam and has inflicted more taxes and restrictions on his own constituents than probably any other state, he is qualified to come after us next?
This is coming at us fast and it is coming at us hard now. There is no stopping this global warming train, but we still must try. We must rise up (and as Michael said in Peggy Sue Got Married) check out of this bourgeois motel, push away from the dinner table and say, “No more Jell-o for me, mom!”
Feds Blame Chuck Schumer for IndyMac Collapse
The OTS has determined that the current institution, IndyMac Bank, is unlikely to be able to meet continued depositors’ demands in the normal course of business and is therefore in an unsafe and unsound condition. The immediate cause of the closing was a deposit run that began and continued after the public release of a June 26 letter to the OTS and the FDIC from Senator Charles Schumer of New York. The letter expressed concerns about IndyMac’s viability. In the following 11 business days, depositors withdrew more than $1.3 billion from their accounts.
Schumer (and his big mouth) is at least partly responsible for the collapseand subsequent federal takeover of Indymac. That is what happens when politicians stick their noses in where they don’t belong.
Rino governor of California Arnold Schwarzenegger recently did an interview with George Stephanopoulos in which he blasted the president for his lack of action on global warming.
“This administration did not believe in global warming,”
“They just didn’t believe in it or they didn’t believe that they should do anything about it, since China is not doing anything about it and since India is not willing to do the same thing, so why should we do the same thing?”
He then went on to say “blah, blah, blah, blab, blah, blah, blah.” And he went further, “blahblahblahblahblah.”
The president held off on imposing taxes and fees and restrictions on the way people conduct their every day lives and for this he gets blasted by a Republican. Albeit, a faux Republican. Just look at some of the idiotic legislation that has made it’s way through to California legislators if you want to see the direction we will take under this fraudulent crisis.

And the list continually grows. There are three common themes here, banning, controlling, and taxing. All global warming legislation falls into at least one of those categories ans usually more than one.
It is time to put an end to this non-sense. With both presidential candidates behind this scam, along with the current president who signed a bill that will ban the incandescent light bulbs in favor of a light bulb that requires a HAZMAT team to clean up a broken light bulb, I don’t know how we can reverse the tide of global warming alarmism.
It is slipping away and Americans are either too ignorant, or just don’t care as long as Bush is out of office, to pay attention to what is going on here. By the time they wake up it will be too late.

Global Warming led to ‘Black Hawk Down’

Once again I read a story and say, “now I have heard it all,” when it comes o this global warming fraud. This time the story comes from my southern neighbors in Massachusetts.
Rep. Ed Markey, who just happens to be the chairman of the House Energy Independence and Global Warming Committee, whatever the hell that is, is blaming global warming for the “blackhawk down” incident in Mogadishu. Isn’t it so rewarding to see where our tax dollars are going?
In Somalia back in 1993, climate change, according to 11 three- and four-star generals, resulted in a drought which led to famine,” said Markey.
“That famine translated to international aid we sent in to Somalia, which then led to the U.S. having to send in forces to separate all the groups that were fighting over the aid, which led to Black Hawk Down. There was this scene where we have all of our American troops under fire because they have been put into the middle of this terrible situation,”
And all this time I was blaming Bill Clinton. Who knew? It was global warming all along that led Bill Clinton to cut and run with his tail between his legs like a little child who had just been caught with his hand in the cookie jar. Okay, global warming didn’t send the yellow streak down his back, but he wouldn’t have had to go to Somalia in the first place if it wasn’t for global warming. Global warming just exposed this yellow streak. Don’t blame Bill, look in the mirror. What a joke!
But just look at the reaction this stupid comment got from the children he was speaking to.

This poor child is being indoctrinated into this mindset, correction, she has already been indoctrinated into this mindset, and she has no clue as to any other perspective. She has been taught that global warming is real and is man-made. And according to Markey it is and there can be no more debate.

Yet more reaction from the brainwashed:
Fifteen-year-old Stephen Bordes from New Orleans called on lawmakers to do something to end global warming. “Cutting carbon emissions is mainly in your hands since you pass the laws,” he said. ‘You basically control climate change. We should have changed yesterday, but it’s too late to change yesterday so we should start now.”
We are losing this battle, and we are losing it fast. How are we supposed to offer any opposing viewpoints when from the moment that our children are entering our government controlled (read public) schools until the day they graduate as “adults” from our government controlled (read public) universities that this scam is real? We can’t. We can try, my boys know my feeling on this issue. They know it well, but is that enough? I am not sure.
The problem is exasperated when you read Ed Markey’s position that this is the cause of the new generation.
Markey finished his talk by comparing the debate against global warming to the 20th century fight for women suffrage. “Back 100 years ago, women rose up and said we want the right to vote, and they were successful,” he said. “Now, you are like the green generation and you are rising up and saying we must ensure the planet does not suffer the worst consequences of climate change.”
In his eyes the global warming scam is equal to woman’s suffrage, yeah right. But you know what? This type of thinking is what is being taught to our children. Everybody wants to feel like they are part of something. Everybody wants to make a difference. And our children are being taught that not only can they make a difference when it comes to global warming, but that it is necessary that they do something.
It makes them feel good, and after all isn’t that what the left is all about, “feeling good?” This is yet another example of the alarmists using a disaster (even if it was 15 years ago) for political gain. And yes, global warming is a political issue, not a scientific one. And I find it disgusting that anyone would use the loss of American lives for such a contrived issue.
Here’s What Happened While I was Gone
Well, I am back from vacation and ready to get back into it. I have to confess while I was gone I did keep tabs on the headlines from my Blackberry at night and saved a few articles that I wanted to write about. Most of these are probably old news by now so instead of writing a separate post for each one I thought I would write one post covering all of the stories, with just a little of my own perspective on each one.
Jesse Jackson Says He Wants to Cut Off Barack Obama’s Nuts
This story is probably the one that received the most attention while I was gone (I am guessing, I didn’t watch the news) so I thought I would start with this one.
That was a real nice sentiment from the Reverend, huh?
The question to me isn’t whether Jesse Jackson was set up or not, the question is, does he really feel that much animosity towards Barack Obama? And why?
My answer is yes to the first question. He never would have said something like that even in private unless he felt that way. He shouldn’t have said it anyway even if he meant it.
The answer to the second question is more important. Why does he feel that way? My answer has to be that he doesn’t want Barack Obama to succeed. He and Reverend Sharpton have made their living talking about how America is unfair and racist and now a black man is on the precipice of becoming president. It hurts Jackson and Sharpton if Obama wins the presidency, and he is resentful.
Congress’ Approval Rating Hits Single Digits
While much has been made about the presidents dismal approval rating congress has fallen to an all time low. Their approval rating is a whopping 9%.
The interesting part of this poll to me is the fact that Democrats have a higher opinion of congress than do Republicans. It shows me that the discontent for congress has less to do with their failure to stop the war than I would have thought.
Americans are going to show their displeasure by voting out even more Republicans. That should be interesting.
Barack Obama Raffles off Prizes for Campaign Contributions
Obama’s campaign may be illegally providing “prizes” in exchange for campaign donations in Minnesota leading to the gambling authority to ask for an investigation.
I’m sure it is just another “misunderstanding.”
Barbara Boxer Claims the White House is Involved in a Global Warming Cover up
Readers here know my position on global warming. The only cover up involved in this hoax is a cover up by the alarmists of the facts in order to get the American people to succumb to more taxes and a loss of personal freedoms and choices.
As you can see the alarmists are becoming more and more adamant, now their is a white house conspiracy to thwart the alarmists conspiracy.

Going on Vacation
The family and I are in the process of packing up for our vacation. We will be driving to Virginia to go to Bush Gardens as well as Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg . When we return we will be going to a Red Sox game.
I think this is a much needed vacation not only from a work standpoint but also from a blogging standpoint.
I will return ready to get back into the fight, but for now I bid you adieux.
To be honest with you I don’t even know if this story is true or if it is a parody. I think it is real, I hope it is a parody. In a way it doesn’t even matter if the story is true or a parody, the people who believe global warming is real are going to believe this is a true story. If the story is not a parody than it is a great example of how far these alarmists have sunk, it is the ultimate global warming scare tactic.

Imagine this, New York, Boston, London, and Tokyo are underwater by the end of the century and people are now global warming refugees on a lily pad city. That is the gist of the above linked article. I honestly have a hard time believing that people can read that article and take it seriously but these people are fanatics and they seem to buy into every other global warming alarmist story that they read. This is just the latest, most extreme prophesy of our doomed future because of our failures to protect the environment.
The more the extremists open their mouths the more silly and ridiculous they sound. Let’s only hope that they continue down this path of insanity fast enough that people will wake up and put an end to this madness before it is too late.
Oh the ever changing positions of Barack Obama, they will make your head spin. Barack Obama promised the far left that he would begin withdrawing troops from Iraq immediately upon his inauguration and that all troops would be home within 16 months after he became president.
Now he is saying that he will “refine” his position and may not bring the troops home even as he still promises to bring them home. I know I am writing in knots (if that makes any sense either) but Barack Obama twists and turns in the wind so much that it is hard to keep track of any of his various stances on the issues.
I’ve always said that the pace of withdrawal would be dictated by the safety and security of our troops and the need to maintain stability,” he said. “That assessment has not changed. And when I go to Iraq and have a chance to talk to some of the commanders on the ground, I’m sure I’ll have more information and will continue to refine my policies
So now he will meet with the people who actually know what is going on and “refine” his position? Needless to say this flip-flop on ending the war regardless of what the people on the ground say has infuriated the far left. Obama’s base.
He had to “clarify” his statement about refining his Iraq war position just a few hours later.
“We’re going to try this again,” Obama said. “Apparently, I wasn’t clear enough this morning on my position with respect to the war in Iraq.”
“Let me be as clear as I can be,” he said. “I intend to end this war. My first day in office, I will bring the Joint Chiefs of Staff in, and I will give them a new mission, and that is to end this war – responsibly, deliberately, but decisively. And I have seen no information that contradicts the notion that we can bring our troops out safely at a pace of one to two brigades a month, and again, that pace translates into having our combat troops out in 16 months’ time.”
He took both sides of the issue in a matter of hours to try to please everybody, hoping nobody would call him out. And they won’t, Barack Obama gets a free pass on all of his flip-flops by the mainstream media. This is no exception. Why else would he so blatantly tell two different groups two different things within hours of each other? The media is not doing their job. Obama skates on issue like this.
People were foolish to believe that Barack Obama was just going to pull the troops out of Iraq as soon as he became president, but they did. So now Obama is trying to break the news to them that he will not be able to deliver on this promise, even as he is still promising to withdraw from Iraq.
The man is shameless, the voters are blind, and the media is incompetent. It makes for a scary situation.
The problem is that we are winning a war that Obama had hoped we would have lost by know and he is having trouble dealing with it. Just give us your position Barack, how can you be trusted to lead if you just try to capitulate to everybody? Sometimes leadership means making some people unhappy. Grow a set and stick to a position, and then live or die with that position.

Daily Kos Founder Turns on Barack Obama
This is just too funny. The founder of the Daily Kos, Markos Moulitsas, has finally realized that Barack Obama was lying about his stance on the war, and efforts to fight the war and now he is turning on Barack Obama. What is funny about this to me is the fact that so many people bought into the notion that Barack Obama was going to magically end the war the moment he took the oath of office.
But what sent Moulitsas over the edge was when Barack Obama showed his hand by backing FISA after all of his campaign rhetoric against it. Here is what Moulitsas had to say about Barack Obama:
There is a line between ‘moving to the center’ and stabbing your allies in the back out of fear of being criticized. And, of late, he’s been doing a lot of unnecessary stabbing, betraying his claims of being a new kind of politician, not that I ever bought it, but Obama is now clearly not looking much different than every other Democratic politician who has ever turned his or her back on the base to prove centrist bona fides.
Not that he ever bought it? Yeah right. All the lefties bought into Barack Obama’s message of hope and change. After all if we hope we can change we can change what we hope for. That didn’t make any sense did it, yet that is all that Barack Obama offers. Now it appears that the “hopers” are realizing that Barack Obama is just saying whatever he thinks he need to in order to get elected.
Obama is now being called a back stabber by one of the most influential voices of the far left. This is base, he can’t afford to lose them. Yet he has drawn the ire of the Daily Kos and that could hurt him. It probably won’t though, after all where are these people going to go?
Barack Obama knows that he can shit on the far left and they will gladly fall in line with him come November. So he will shit on them until November and after he is elected he will thank them.
Markos Moulitsas will just fall in line like a good little puppy dog. All talk, no substance.
