Iran Frees Killers Because the Victims acted un-Islamic
Iran has freed killers because the people they murdered were conducting un-Islamic activities. The killers argued that they were allowed to kill immoral people according to Islamic teachings.
Please, someone explain to me how you are supposed to appease people that believe they have the right to kill innocent people they believe are immoral. You can’t reason with the unreasonable. This is the mindset of the people we have to deal with.

Hillary Clinton said this about Don Imus:
“Don Imus’ comments about them were nothing more than small-minded bigotry and coarse sexism. They showed a disregard for basic decency and were disrespectful and degrading to African-Americans and women everywhere.”
And she is right about that. I have no problem with her coming out against Don Imus, however she recently received an $800,000 donation from a fundraiser hosted by Timbaland at his mansion.
Here are some of his lyrics, I think you will agree they are literary genius that just rolls off the tongue:
We can make it hot
Cook it in the pot
11:15 feed the hoe while it’s hot
When I say suck it, it don’t mean blow it
5:15 get loot cause you broke it
Girl it aint a blunt, so dont smoke it
Better if you grab it with your hand then you choke it
I feel like a pimp with a different pimp game, with a different pimp name
With a little pimp fame
I’m loaded with cash, loaded with class, loaded with a lot of things
Even got a gat loaded for that ass
Nigga Your Time Is Up, I Aint Come To Kid You
I Knew You niggas Was Dumb, But How Dumb Is You
I’m Like Nicholas Cage Yeye Its The Ghost Rider
P89 Ye I Let My Toast Slide, Costa Rica To Brazil
I Got My Hoes In The Lamb, why Your Bitch Bald Headed
Like Britney Spears, I’m In The Projects Gettin Dope and Piff Money
I could keep going, those lyrics are only from three songs. Does anybody else see the hypocrisy of this? Condemning one man for bigoted, anti-woman remarks while at the same time taking a rather large campaign donation from another?
I though Hillary was a feminist? Don’t these lyrics fly in the face of feminism?
Yes, they do.
Barack Obama, who has appeared on Imus’ show, called for Imus’ firing and also said,”but I would also say that there’s nobody on my staff who would still be working for me if they made a comment like that about anybody of any ethnic group.”
I don’t have a problem with that statement either. But Obama has had a meeting with Ludacris to discuss, of all things, AIDS awareness, and empowering the youth.
While this isn’t as indiscriminate as Hillary taking campaign donations from Timbaland, it may show a lack of judgement discussing AIDS awareness and empowering youth with the person who has graced us with these beautiful poetic musings:
You doin ho activities
With ho tendencies
Hos are your friends, hoes are your enemies
With ho energy to do whacha do
Blew whacha blew
Screw whacha screw
Cant turn a ho into a housewife
Hos dont act right
Theres hos on a mission, an hoes on a crackpipe
She said she had a nigga who was only there for rent (there for rent)
And wouldn’t shake her booty for a red cent (red cent)
She said she never fucked 3 niggas at a time (at a time)
Til Lil Fate started fuckin with her mind (with her mind)
She said she couldn’t see how women turn tricks (turn tricks)
And couldn’t picture tryna suck a nigga dick (suck a dick)
I’m sorry for the language in this post, I usually restrain from this language no matter how I feel when I am posting, but I had to use these lyrics to illustrate my point.
While candidates berate and call for the firing if one individual, they are willing to look the other way in cetain circumstances, and even accept money from them.
Do they think Americans aren’t paying attention and won’t notice this? Or do they just feel that American won’t care? I don’t know, but I have a feeling Americans won’t care.
Michael Moore has taken some of the first responders of 9/11 to get healthcare from Cuba.
Moore’s new documentary, and I use that term loosely, is his attempt to show how much better Cuba’s health-care system is than our’s.This is an attempt by him to show how much better life would be under socialist rule. These liberals are nothing more than socialists at heart and this is more proof. They don’t believe Americans can make it on their own and that they need government intervention to help them through life.
The fact that Michael Moore is trying to say a communist dictator is a better provider of human needs than the USA is despicable. If Cuba is such a great humanitarian state, why do so many of her citizens risk their life to get to the USA?

Yes he was, according to this article.
I have read this article a couple of times now, and I can’t figure out if it is serious or a joke. I think it’s a serious piece. If so, this is unbelievable. Why is it that people like Charlie Sheen, Rosie O’Donnell and others find it easier to believe tyrannical dictators who commit atrocities and genocide on their own people than to believe the American government?
Gov. Corzine was on his way to meet Imus, he must have been getting close to the truth also, so the government tried to take him out too. I shouldn’t be giving the conspiracy theorists ammo like that, but I couldn’t help it.
This piece is from a European site, but people like Sheen and O’Donnell add fuel to this fire and help to turn the European nations against us. The European nations use this type of talk to convince Europe that America is turning on America, and that Americans believe we attacked ourselves to go onto war.
The terms ‘Jihad’, ‘Islamists’, and ‘fundamentalists’ are no longer going to be used in Europe if the EU has it’s way.
This is designed to make sure the terrorists don’t get offended. Is this a case of if we ignore them maybe they will just go away? We hope, anyway. They won’t, the problem is western culture, our lifestyle.
They want to, and believe it is their destiny to, Islamize the whole world. Not using certain words isn’t going to change that goal. Ignoring the Islamo-fascists will have grave and deadly consequences. How can we fight an enemy if we can’t even call them by name? It’s hard enough trying to fight them because they disguise themselves as friendly Muslims. They are willing to kill innocent Muslim women and children to achieve their goal. Their goal of destroying the west.
They are faceless, and now they will be nameless too.
An excerpt from the article:
The E.U.’s lexicon reportedly recommends that instead of using “Islamic terrorists,” government spokesmen say “terrorists who abusively invoke Islam.”
Unbelievable,I want to laugh at the absurdity of that quote, but the subject matter is too serious.
Also from the article:
“What it’s doing is actually compounding the problem because it’s refusing to accept there is a problem with certain Islamic teachings,”
At least some people understand, I hope there are enough of them, and I hope it’s not too late.

Tom Delay calls for Rosie O’Donnell to be fired
Tom Delay is calling for Rosie to be fired. Now that the liberals have brought down Don Imus(another liberal), the conservatives want their turn. Rosie is on a major network and is spouting nonsense about the president knowing about 9/11 and the towers being brought down with controlled explosions. This is highly offensive to most Americans. Yet, she isn’t challenged on this. Why because she is a good liberal. If she were a conservative in the ’90’s and she talked about Bill Clinton authorising the killing of Americans in Wako or Ruby Ridge, she would not have lasted.
I don’t think she should be fired. I like to think the American people, and the market place would dictate to her employers that she be removed by not watching her show.
Part of me would revel in her firing though, I have to admit.
This is not going to come to a conclusion any time soon. Al Sharpton has said as much. He wants to keep going and bring down as many people as possible.
Rush Limbaugh,Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck will all be in the crosshairs. They had to sacrifice one of their own in Imus to get to the true targets, and here they come.
Now, Rush,Hannity, and Beck don’t use racial slurs and stereotypes in their dialog the way Imus does, but if Sharpton and Jackson, and liberals are offended by conservative talk then conservative talk radio should be shut down. At least that’s what they think.
There is talk that the fairness in radio doctrine will be reinstated. This is a direct attack on free speech, dictating the type of programming radio stations will carry.
It appears that the firing of Don Imus has triggered a chain reaction and who knows where it will lead with the Rev. Sharpton, and the Rev. Jackson leading the way.

New Hampshire legislature has been fast tracking a bill though the house and senate about Civil Unions. The senate abruptly halted sending the bill for a vote without explaining why. Speculation is that Gov. John Lynch intervened. The governor won’t say if he supports the bill or not so all we can do is speculate.
Gov. John Lynch has record high approval ratings and he wants to keep them there. I don’t blame him, but he would rather keep his ratings then let the public know how he stands on the tough issues.
He has kept his ratings up by passing legislation that has wide support in New Hampshire, while shying away from issues that are controversial. The Civil Unions issue seems to be split down the middle, or the people are leaning more towards being against them. Therefore the governor, reluctant to lose any of his approval ratings has remained silent on this issue. I can’t believe more people can’t see through this.
I believe he did intervene in order to protect himself. Now it looks as though the senate stopped the vote and he doesn’t have to make the tough decision.
Al Sharpton is Receiving Death Threats
It appears as though Al Sharpton has received many death threats over the firing of Don Imus.
This whole issue has been blown out of proportion. Where is it going to end? We’ve already heard from Al Sharpton that he isn’t going to stop with Imus, he is going to go after everyone he disagrees with. He feels emboldened by brining down a heavyweight.
We do have free speech in this country, and I do understand you have to draw the line somwhere when it comes to public airwaves, but somehow Al Sharpton has become the voice of where to draw that line. How did that happen?
But death threats? Come on, Al Sharpton is just exercising free speech also, isn’t he?

Should Don Imus have been fired?
I am conflicted about this. One one hand, I wanted him to be fired. But on the other hand I’m not sure if anyone should lose their livelihood because of speech unless the comments are extremely egregious. These comments were not what I would consider a fire-able offense.
Now the reason I wanted him fired was simple. If he was a conservative talker he would have been fired years ago. The double standard is plain to see in this case. He has been saying this kind of thing and worse for years. Everyone in management knew it, but he cozied up to John Kerry and the like so it was ignored. I just wanted him to be held up to the same standards, that’s all. They tried to wait out the controversy and hoped it would go away, but when it didn’t, they had to fire him.
This is the statement that forced Rush Limbaugh to resign from ESPN before he was fired:
“I think what we’ve had here is a little social concern in the NFL.
The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well,” Limbaugh said.
“There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the
performance of this team that he didn’t deserve. The defense carried this team.”
Now I ask you, was this a racist comment? Is this a fire-able offense? I don’t think so. This was supposed to be an indictment on the media, not an attack on McNabb’s race. Granted the whole issue of black quarterbacks in the NFL was old and outdated at the time of this comment, if Rush was guilty of anything it was of dragging out an old, outdated, and irrelevant issue.
Michael Irving actually said “Rush has a point” after the comment was made. It doesn’t seem as he found this offensive.
Rush was forced to resign.
Here are some comments made by Jesse Jackson as listed in wikipedia.org:
Nixon was less attentive to poverty in the U.S. because “four out of five [of Nixon’s top advisors] are German Jews and their priorities are on Europe and Asia”; that he was “sick and tired of hearing about the Holocaust”; that there are “very few Jewish reporters that have the capacity to be objective about Arab affairs”; In addition Rev. Jackson had referred to Jews as “Hymies” and to New York City as “Hymietown” in January 1984.
I’d say these remarks are pretty offensive.
Here’s a quote from Al Sharpton:
“White folks was in caves while we was building empires…
We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before
Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”
Just as offensive, yet these are the two who led the charge for Don Imus’ job and they succeeded. If you can’t agree that there is a double standard here then you don’t want to see it.
Why were these two not held accountable for their actions?
It must be because they are on the proper side of the isle.
So wrapping it up, I don’t think Imus should have been fired for his stupid, thoughtless, and idiotic comments, but in the interest of being fair and balanced, he had to go.
America has become a country of victims and offensive-dom. Anybody can be offended by anything at any given time, and become a victim. It’s easier to blame your problems or shortcomings on being a victim of something than to face them and try to make yourself better.
Political correctness is an attack on free speech. What kind of country is America going to become if we all have to watch everything we say for fear of offending someone.
It’s time for Americans to toughen up and stop letting words offend them.

John McCain calls the Iraq War Necessary and just
I am not a John McCain supporter, but I do believe he is dead on when it comes to the Iraq war. If he wins the Republican nomination I would vote for him over any Democrat. For me the biggest issue in the ’08 election is national security, and I don’t believe any Democrat can be trusted with national security.
McCain makes some good points in his speech, some of which can be read below:
For Republicans, who still largely support the war, McCain offered a blistering critique of Democrats in control of Congress. He accused them of being reckless in their foreign policy by attempting to set a deadline for withdrawal in legislation intended to provide money for the war effort. And he said those who control the legislature are “heedless of the terrible consequences” of failing in Iraq.
“Democratic leaders smiled and cheered as the last votes were counted,” he said. “What were they celebrating? Defeat? Surrender?”
Speaking to reporters later, he refused several opportunities to tone down his criticism of all Democrats, saying: “What is happening today will have the outcome of a disaster for the United States of America. What their motives might be, I can’t ascertain. I do know what their actions will cause.”
I am starting to believe the war may be lost. Not in Iraq, but in the press at home. Actually I know the war is being portrayed as un-winnable by the media, but I have always held out hope that the American people would be able to see the big picture and would be willing to fight until victory was achieved.
I now fear I am wrong:
That last sentiment also reflects the thinking inside his presidential campaign, which is faced with falling poll numbers, a tepid fundraising effort, verbal gaffes and dissatisfaction among conservatives. In a Bloomberg-Los Angeles Times poll released Wednesday, McCain had slipped to third among Republicans. Former New York mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani led the field with 29 percent; former senator Fred D. Thompson of Tennessee, who has expressed interest in a bid but not declared his intention to run, was second with 15 percent; and McCain registered just 12 percent support. Former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney was fourth at 8 percent.
It seems as though you have to be an un-American, defeatist, anti-war candidate to win the presidency, and I am not willing to cast a vote for someone like that. Supporting the war means falling poll numbers. Americans have grown soft and don’t have the will to win, it is disheartening to observe but we must not let up until we win.
