I just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that we are on vacation and will not be back until late Monday so I probably will not be around much, if at all, over the next few days. I meant to post something yesterday but it got a little crazy in the morning before we left.
During the campaign Joe Biden claimed that Donald Trump’s 15,000 person limit on refugees was a bigoted, racist, xenophobic policy and he vowed that under his administration it would be come one, come all. Even after he became President, Joe Biden promised to raise the refugee cap to a total higher than it was when Barack Obama was President, however he quickly flip-flopped on that promise and decided he would keep the cap at Donald Trump’s 15,000 after all.
You can imagine the ire and the consternation this decision drew from the left, they were not very pleased to say the least. Well, apparently they put enough pressure on good ole Uncle Joe because now he has flipped back to his original position and will increase the refugee cap to 62,500 after all. Here is more:
President Biden on Monday reversed himself and said he would allow as many as 62,500 refugees to enter the United States during the next six months, eliminating the sharp limits that President Donald J. Trump imposed on those seeking refuge from war, violence or natural disasters.
The action comes about two weeks after Mr. Biden announced that he was leaving Mr. Trump’s limit of 15,000 refugees in place, which drew widespread condemnation from Democrats and refugee advocates who accused the president of reneging on a campaign promise to welcome those in need.
Mr. Biden quickly backtracked, promising only hours later that he intended to increase refugee admissions. With Monday’s announcement, the president formally bowed to the pressure.
Even the New York Times is having difficulty trying to keep up and defend Joe Biden’s wind-blown positions on immigration.
The truth is Joe Biden does not really have multiple positions on this issue, or any other issue for that matter, the truth is Joe Biden has NO position on any issue. His handlers fight over which position they will go forth with and Joe Biden delivers the message, he is just a puppet dancing at the end of the strings and on the refugee cap they had him dancing a jig.

Xenophobic Joe Biden bans travel from India
It is being reported that Joe Biden has banned travel from India in response to an alleged COVID-19 surge in that country, here is more:
U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday imposed new travel restrictions on India in light of the COVID-19 epidemic, barring most non-U.S. citizens from entering the United States.
The new restrictions, which take effect on Tuesday, May 4 at 12:01 am ET (0401 GMT), are on the advice of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and were imposed because “the magnitude and scope of the COVID-19 pandemic” in India was “surging,” the White House said.
Biden on Friday signed a proclamation implementing the restrictions, which were first reported by Reuters.
I think you all know where I am going with this so I will keep it short and sweet. I thought it was Xenophobic and racist to ban travel from certain countries, even if you are doing it to protect your constituents? Isn’t that what the left had been saying for the last four years? Leaked audio contradicts John Kerry’s excuse for leaking Israeli State secrets to Iran
Earlier this week newly leaked audio dropped the bombshell news that John Kerry, while Secretary of State, gave Iran Foreign Minister Javad Zarif information about secret Israeli military actions in Syria. Since that time the State Department has been making excuses for John Kerry by basically saying it is no big deal because Iran knew about actions anyway.
However, this same leaked audio contradicts the lame excuse the State Department has been throwing around. Javad Zariff did not know about the Israeli strikes until John Kerry told him. Here is more:
Leaked audiotape of Iranian foreign minister Javad Zarif indicates he had no knowledge of covert Israeli military strikes before former secretary of state John Kerry provided him with the information, new details that contradict the State Department’s recent defense of Kerry.
The New York Times reported that Zarif said on the tape that Kerry told him Israel launched 200 airstrikes against Iranian interests in Syria. The Times did not provide further details on that issue.
Stop the presses! The New York Times did not report all the details of the audio, shocking! Why would that be? Let us read on and see:
But an independent translation of the audiotape commissioned by the Washington Free Beacon shows that Zarif went on to clarify that he had no prior knowledge of these Israeli strikes before Kerry told him.
“Kerry told me that Israel had launched 200 airstrikes against you [Iran],” said Zarif. “You didn’t know?” asked his interviewer. “No, no,” he replied.
These new details contradict top State Department officials, who have repeatedly said the information was already in the public domain and not classified.
There are only two possible reasons why the New York Times left out this little detail, either the paper was trying to set him up or it was trying to protect him. Seeing as John Kerry is a liberal Democrat the first option is eliminated, so that means the paper was trying to protect him and is it not ironic that in trying to protect John Kerry they exposed him as a liar? Maybe this was all just a botched joke…
Menthol cigarettes have been coming under fire for years and it looks like Joe Biden is going to ban them. In an age where the Government is forcing people to wear masks for health reasons it was only a matter of time before something like this happened, and it will eventually spill over into regulating what types of food people can eat. So while this move is not surprising you might find the reasoning a bit weird, it turns out menthol cigarettes are racist. Here is more:
The Biden administration is expected to announce this week that it will propose a ban on menthol cigarettes, an action urgently sought by tobacco opponents and civil rights groups that say African Americans have been disproportionately hurt by the industry’s aggressive targeting of Black communities.
The administration also is poised to say it will seek to ban menthol and other flavors in mass-produced cigars, including small cigars popular with young people, according to administration officials familiar with the situation who spoke on the condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to discuss it publicly.
I don’t know, banning something because black people like it more than white people do is what seems racist to me…
Leaked audio has Iran’s foreign minister admitting John Kerry leaked secret Israel intel to Iran
We already know that John Kerry was trying to undermine Donald Trump’s Iran policy by conducting secret meetings with Javad Zarif via a backdoor channel, and we know this because he admitted it. This is a pretty clear violation of the Logan Act, but it is getting even worse for the former Secretary of State because audio has surfaced in which Javad Zarif admits that John Kerry was giving him secret intelligence on Israeli activity in Syria while serving in the Obama administration.

Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif claimed in recently leaked audio that John Kerry, when he was serving as Secretary of State during the Obama administration, informed him of more than 200 Israeli operations in Syria.
Kerry shocked Zarif by revealing that Israel had attacked Iranian targets in Syria more than 200 times, according to leaked audio obtained by The New York Times and other outlets.
Of course John Kerry is denying the claims but we should remember that John Kerry does have a special interest in the goings on of Iran considering his daughter is married to a prominent Iranian, I do not think it is too hard to figure out where he true loyalty is.
Joe Biden to skip out of weekly COVID meetings with Governors, Andrew Cuomo takes over
Joe Biden is so worried about the effects the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the American people and the States they live in that both he and Kamala Harris have no intention of joining the weekly COVID-19 meetings with the Governors which were started under Donald Trump and continue to this day. (Despite a campaign promise to do so by the way.)
You would think maybe this is a good sign which means this foolishness will soon becoming to an end but you would most likely be wrong, in all likelihood the meetings are just too confusing for poor ole Uncle Joe so instead, get this, Andrew Cuomo is going now leading the meetings, here is more:
Embattled New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) has reportedly taken over the leadership of the weekly White House conference calls with the nation’s governors about the coronavirus pandemic, since President Joe Biden does not join them.
Philip Wegmann of RealClearPolitics reported Monday that Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have both opted not to join the weekly conference calls with governors, unlike former President Donald Trump and Vice President Mike Pence.
Wegmann’s reporting was confirmed during Monday’s White House press briefing. Press Secretary Jen Psaki demanded to know how many governors he had spoken with, and insisted Biden had never intended to join the calls, despite his pledge a conference call with governors after the election in November that he would work closely with them once he took office.
In addition, Wegmann reported that Gov. Cuomo is now leading the weekly conference calls between the governors and the Biden administration’s coronavirus team, due to his role as head of the National Governors Association:
Andrew Cuomo now leads the calls as chairman of the National Governors Association. White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki explained that the New York governor was put in charge instead of the vice president because a change was needed.
Believe it or not, and I know you will, the Biden administration blamed Donald Trump for the President’s decision not to join the meetings, claiming he was too busy dealing with other aspects of the pandemic due to Donald Trump’s failures to lead during this time. Or something like that…
So, let me see if I can sum this up: Joe Biden cannot attend the meetings because of Donald Trump’s lack of leadership on COVID-19, so instead Andrew Cuomo, the man whose COVID-19 policies led to the deaths of thousands of New York’s elderly, is now going to be spreading his wisdom to governors across the country about dealing with COVID-19. If that is the type of leadership they want, and if the result of his policies in his State is considered success, it makes you wonder what the true goal of the pandemic response is…
Everybody is expecting a huge push by Joe Biden and the Democrats on gun control, including measures to ban so-called “assault weapons” (or as the Democrats are trying to rebrand them, “military style” weapons), and “high capacity” magazines of more than 10 rounds.
In anticipation of this move Governor Gianforte of Montana has just signed legislation to protect his State’s residents from the expected gun control action. Here is more:
Gov. Greg Gianforte on Friday signed a bill that prohibits state and local law enforcement in Montana from enforcing federal bans on firearms, ammunition and magazines.
Supporters of the law have said it would protect the Second Amendment from stiffer gun control laws that could come from federal legislation or executive orders by President Joe Biden
Montana law would prohibit law enforcement officials and other state employees from enforcing, implementing or spending state funds to uphold federal bans on particular kinds of firearms, ammunition and magazines.
There has long been a debate over State and Federal laws and which trumps which and for the most part the side a person is on depends upon whether or not they agree with the Federal law that is in debate at that time. Naturally gun control Marxists and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) will claim that States cannot nullify Federal laws but I would remind these people that they themselves set the precedent when States began passing laws to legalize marijuana and neutralize Federal immigration laws.
And some more good news is, according to the article lined to above there are at least 12 States looking at nullifying any new gun laws.
