Massachusetts State Senator retracts her support for Elizabeth Warren’s Native American claims
During an interview on MSNBC back in May Massachusetts State Senator Katherine Clark was asked about Elizabeth Warren’s false claim that she was a Native American, at that time she defended the wannabe Indian with the high cheekbones to prove it. This is what Senator Clark had to say during that interview:
Elizabeth Warren has been very clear: This is what she was taught from the time she was a small girl that she has Native American relatives and it’s been demonstrated by some of the research that’s been done that, in fact, there are records that support that claim
We know now that there were no records, only family lore and a note in a family member’s journal which Elizabeth Warren used as the proof of her heritage, all the while using affirmative action to get ahead in life while cutting in front of real Native Americans who quite possibly could have used a break. Elizabeth Warren used her fake ancestry to rise up to the very pinnacle of success as she stood on stage at the DNC and delivered a speech designed to win her enough support in Massachusetts to unseat Scott Brown and turn the “People’s Seat” back into the “Elitist’s Seat.”
While the leaders of the Democrat party don’t seem to have a problem with her deception, and still thought she deserved a spot at the DNC, Senator Clark can no longer support or defend Elizabeth Warren’s Native American claim; earlier this week she retracted her statement about there being proof of Elizabeth Warren’s false claim:
I am telling you frankly that I thought there was a marriage certificate at the time. I was wrong
I believe Senator Clark; she claims that the interview she conducted turned to the issue of Elizabeth Warren and she didn’t expect it and wasn’t prepared for it. She gave an honest answer, she really did believe Elizabeth Warren must have proof of her claim. And why wouldn’t she believe it? What type of person, who is clearly white, would lie about her heritage to get ahead in life and then when caught double down and continue lying right up to the point of saying she would be Massachusetts first Native American senator? She couldn’t have believed Elizabeth Warren was this deceitful at the time, but I think she knows it now.

Have no fear, the anomaly of Scott Brown’s election will probably be reversed in the people’s republic of Massachusetts. Elizabeth “I ain’t no paleface” Warren is no Kennedy but that shouldn’t stop a majority of the lifelong supporters of the swimmer from voting in another perpertrator of a hoax.

You may be right and normally I would say it is a given in Massachusetts that Brown will lose, but I am getting a good feeling about this. In 2010, while the Republicans in Massachusetts didn’t fair well in the tickets higher up on the ballots, they did gain many seats in the State House and they are hoping to build on that. It was a small step, but in a state like Massachusetts it is going to take small steps. Hopefully this is a sign of things to come although I am trying not to get too optimistic.

At least she admits she was wrong. I still find it hard to believe Elizabeth Warren continues to make her assertion that she is Native American, in the face of so much solid evidence that it is false.

Once you start a lie, maybe they have to keep it up, maybe they don’t have it in them to say they are wrong. As they say, “lie, deny and make them prove it”, is that possibly her motto? That is shakey territory, Scott Brown is such a Republican-lite, in name only because he votes with the Democrats 50% of the time, doesn’t he?

I don’t have the exact number but Brown does vote with the Republicans more often then with the Democrats, although not as often as we would like him to. One thing is certain, Warren will vote with the Democrats 100% of the time.

I give her credit for bucking her party on this and from all accounts I have heard she is sincere and regrets standing up for Warren in the first place. Warren on the other hand just can’t admit she made a mistake and it has reached the point where she can’t back down now. If she had been forthright in the beginning she could have put this behind her, but she made the decision to stick to the story and it is too late to change now.

I hear you there Jim! While the left doesn’t care about this issue I think the independents will and that is the largest voting block in Massachusetts. I think Brown is still strong with this group so I am holding out hope he can win.

Don, I just think it has become real to her. You know after a lie is told often enough, it must roll of the tongue real easy. My husbands side of the family thought they had some Indian in them as well a few generations back, my daughter decided to do the genealogy on both sides and actually found an article from an old paper that stated it was not true. The difference is that they were proud of the fact, but were not using it for personal gain as she has done all these years. People sure are different, aren’t they?

Yes they are, that is for sure. At this point Warren knows this isn’t true and yet she won’t admit it.

There are some Indian groups digging into her past and they have been unable to find anything, needless to say most of them are very offended by this whole thing. In my opinion what she did–taking advantage of a program like this–is despicable.

Just a slight of words, why would anyone be upset about that? Is it any worse than the possibility of Obama using “foreign student” on his apps to get into school? I guess it boils down to, you do what you gotta do, but in this case, there must be no conscience to pull this off. Just another in your face moment for those of us that do things the legal way.

You really have to have either no conscience or a supreme entitlement mentality to pull something like this off, that is what it all comes down to.
