The Congress hands Barack Obama fast-track authority on the Trans-Pacific Parnership
Today the Senate passed a stand-alone TPA bill and sent it to the President’s desk for his signature. This bill will give Barack Obama fast-track authority on the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal he has been negotiating in private, as well as other future trade deals according to what I have read. This means that once his super secret trade deal is complete the Congress can only vote on the treaty as submitted and will not be able to offer any amendments thereto.
What this basically does is remove just another little piece of the separation of powers provided for in the Constitution and it gives Barack Obama more power when it comes to negotiating trade deals. This power was given to the President by some of the very same Republicans who ran in 2012 on the promise of checking a President who they claimed was usurping powers not granted to him in the Constitution and this power was given to him by some of the very same Republicans who claimed Barack Obama was doing an end run around the Congress to pass legislation through Executive Action which he was unable to get through the Congress. Now they have helped him to do both by willingly handing him more power.
This is why we call these Republicans selective Constitutionalists here are America’s Watchtower: they talk a good game when it comes to the Constitution when they are in the midst of an election but when push comes to shove all they really care about is their big government agenda. The end justifies the means and they are nothing but frauds, hypocrites, and liars.

I’m surprised they even go thru the motions of ‘signing’ it. It’s a game and pomp for them. Feeds their ‘pride’ and they like to ‘show boat’ themselves. The movie ‘Despicable Me’ … they know they are and they don’t care, or they figure they deserve to be, and unlike that character actor, they’ve no intention on changing their self-serving ways. That’s the stench of ungodliness – we’re just being given a whiff of it.

I knew this would be the outcome. There are just a handful in Congress that care what happens to this country, the rest are only interested in self-preservation. I think we are past having it do any good to vote them out now. To have the House AND the Senate was a boost, or at least I thought it was. Who knew that McConnell and Boehner would be siding 100% with the Democrats and this Administration, whether it was out in the open or behind closed doors!!! Now they just do what they want, we the people be damned. This makes me sick because I know we are going to be unable to stop this. It also sticks in my gut when I hear that they did what they could…after all…..we want to do this “bi-partisan”…..or so they say. We need to work with the other side,,,,hell, they are giving away the bank. Just throw it in our faces, go ahead. They sure fooled us, didn’t they?

Even though we knew it was coming it is still frustrating to watch it happen! It is amazing to me that the Republicans won the 2014 election and so quickly threw it away. That is when it really sunk in for me that they are all in this together and are only putting on a show. I thought that might be the case but I was not sure until the last year confirmed it.

I saw that article Lou and it is scary to think about. Suddenly we are going to start banning movies because they are about history which is no longer politically correct? The article equates this with book burning and I have to agree it is right up there.

He, Mayor Mitch Landrieu, says “Symbols should reflect who we really are as a people”.
That struck me hard….what exactly ARE we the reflection of now? What symbol does one use to tell others that we are letting the Government run right over us, even though WE are the ones that should be calling the shots!!!! What symbol does one use to promote the picture of looting and shooting? What symbol does one use to tell others that we/they are sucking off other people that work to pay for dead beats that won’t? What symbol does one use to symbolize all the cheating and lying that has been going on in the Administration? I think he made a BIG statement that needs to be looked into! As for tearing all these statues down, etc. this is OUR history. So we tear them down and we burn the books, will that make anyone feel better, or will it just set it place the drive to start on something else? Why are present day people responsible for what happened in the past and if so, why do we need to pay reparations? At what point does it stop? Ever? The Police are doing their job and they are being attacked by thugs. Those thugs have been empowered by the people, because no one stopped this. Next it will be ok to break in your front door and steal what you have,,,because there will be no stopping it. Once this gets out of hand, THEN there will be people shouting for help and for it to stop..what they do not understand is once something starts rolling, sometimes it is impossible to stop. This is starting to roll, everyone wants something that offends them taken out…we have BIG problems now! This is just another thing that will cover for what is really going on in this country. It will cover for not seeking justice for Benghazi, it will cover for not closing the borders, it will cover for all the corruption in the White House, the closed door sessions. Of course the Administration will not put a stop to it, there is too much they have to do under that cover!
I am tired of everyone being offended by everything….geeze, maybe those people need to grow a set and have a bit thicker skin, i have never seen so many that are bothered by everything, or at least use it as an excuse for what they lack . We are becoming a nation of “kids” that the “bully” pushed around,,,is that what we want to be???? I can assure you, I am not, but where do we start to take back our country? Do we just start telling people to “F” off if for some reason they are offended? Maybe we speak up when we hear someone say something….ya,,,there you go….”If you see (hear) something, say something”,,I am going to start voicing my opinion when I hear someone is offended by something totally stupid. That is the problem, we have been silent for too long.It is time to not be NICE anymore…we have to start telling it like it is and we do not want to suffer for someone elses short comings. I read a short article on my Yahoo email page that was kind of funny. It is what people are saying now, but it really means something else…it said when you want to say “F*ck you”, all you need to say is “Ok, Great” and people will get the message…it doesn’t sound like as much fun, but maybe we can try it…..ok….I am done ranting….I had to do it, now I can head out the door and run into those “offended” people and maybe MAKE MY DAY!

Another reason to believe God and not go to Hell! They’re giving everyone ‘who’s awake’ a taste of it now! Those who are ‘conditioned and asleep’ don’t notice – business as usually. A friend just emailed me this Lou – he and his are in TX: ‘I’m writing, again, those in Congress demanding they pass a new amendment. This one is to limit the number of years federal judges can sit on the bench AND to remove federal judges (simple majority) if they do not follow the U.S. Constitution as it is written, NOT as they’d like it to be written or their interpretation of…..
I got no response on my insistence that Presidential appointees be removed by Congress (justified in that the Senate approves them) if they are inept, incompetent, crooks, liars, involved in illegal activity…… So, I expect the same but I’ve got to do my part as a citizen, express myself while I still have the right to do so — with only minor worry that the FBI, NSA, SS or IRS will come after me.’ He missed the CIA, DHS, TSA and who else …?

Don’t you think, Zip, that the Federal bench has been stacked, as well as the District and Local seats? We see the military taking out good men and women and replacing them with liberal, like minded ones that will go along with this Administration. The Sheriffs of the Counties will be next in line to take out, I would be willing to bet on it. All these alphabets in government have been gone thru like a bargain basement sale, they do the bidding of this Administration, as well. I do not see much of a future for our kids and grandkids, unless we get back to the ORIGINAL Constitution, not the one that can be manipulated by whoever wants to do that. There are good men and women out there in positions that can do what it takes to put things right again, but they will be taking a massive risk doing it. I know it seems like this has come about all too fast, but if we think about it, we have been losing our freedom a little at a time. As I have said before, we were busy making a living, not paying close attention and it blind sided us. There have to be others out there that SEE as we do..surely! All of these smoke screens that are put up that people are focusing on right now, are a drop in the bucket compared to what is being done out of sight…..I truly believe that.

If you wanted to take over a country and had power, resources and authority, what would you do? How would you go about it?
After considering that for a while this other makes sense.
Just as we were ‘conditioned’ and ‘socialized’ as we grew up, the same thing will happen with your grandkids. Remember how older people to us were ‘fuddy duddies’! ‘Don’t trust anyone over 30’. The same ‘brainwashing’ is being done to them – vid games, movies, tv, etc. Remember laughing at those old ‘folks’ who started off the thought with, ‘Back in the days …’ or ‘When I was young…’ or ‘You kids don’t realize the freedoms you’re losing …’ The newer generation is maturing quicker (bodily and in their ‘sense’ of Tech advancement), but not growing in the substance and quality of LIFE that we knew – which is considered passé and old fashion, out of ‘fad’, so rejected.
Making a living today. Remember you’re taking over a country, do you want people to be self reliant, or do you want them to ‘need’ you, ‘need food’, ‘need provisions, water’ and have to come to you to get it? That’s the way I see what’s going on Lou.

I think you are right Zip, about what is going on. If they can start young with them, their heads are mush and can manipulated….now aren’t they wanting from the cradle on? They want to put a stop to home schooling, as well. I guess we have become that OLD people, but you know what???? when I grew up, I realized how smart my parents were….not sure with all the brain washing that is going on now, that our kids/grandkids will have that same opinion of us.

You know, reading thru that, you have to say, “surely not” on some of it, but then again, look what they have already done! I have not heard they have banned the selling of the flag, but there are too many that are going to be politically correct and yank it off the shelves. By doing that, they have made the decision for us. I think that should be a personal decision. I have the American and the Gadsden flags flying out on our big pole…might just have to come across a Confederate one, as well. At this point, like others it might be time to turn the American flag upside down in distress. Most people will take the vaccines the article talked about, I am not one of them…no telling what is in them anymore. Daily we are seeing more and more things called for being removed, is there an end to this? As long as people comply instead of telling them to stick it, we will be seeing this. I said in another post, maybe reparations are in order, I think just about any immigrant that has come here has been mistreated by some group…I am ready to accept a monetary pay off, are you? I was reading an article about the former leader of the NBPP, he is out and out calling for killing whitey on the video….would or do you think that he might be in trouble for stirring up shit? This Administration wants this to happen, so imagine they have given him the go ahead…now if the tables were turned we would have Sharpton and Jackson showing up….I can see a clear double standard here. There is no way this decision should have been reached. The law (even though it is unconstitutional on its face) clearly said ‘state exchange.’ Congress explained the reasoning for this – it was to encourage states to set up their own exchanges. When states refused to set up their own exchanges obama illegally changed the law. Now SCOTUS has sanctioned this violation of the Constitution and committed their own violation by changing the original meaning of the law. I’m speechless…completely.
There is only one conclusion to reach – they have been blackmailed or bought. There’s no other answer.
Plus, we have a supposed ‘republican’ Speaker of the House who is punishing House members for obeying their constituents. What the hell?? Where am I???
