The State Department requested Hillary Clinton release her emails far earlier than she has claimed

February 16, 2016

Hillary Clinton has been claiming on the campaign trail that she has been fully cooperating with the State Department from the very beginning in regards to releasing her official emails which were conducted on her private email server, however newly released emails show that she did not comply with the original State Department request to turn over her emails. In fact she waited several months.

  Here is more:

The State Department in July 2014 unofficially requested that Hillary Clinton hand in copies of her work emails — much earlier than the late October 2014 date that has been cited by her presidential campaign and in court documents.

Conservative group Judicial Watch on Monday released a new email from Clinton’s former chief of staff Cheryl Mills, where Mills is following up on what appears to be a request from Secretary John Kerry’s chief of staff David Wade for hard copies of Clinton’s messages.

“I wanted to follow up on your request last month about getting hard copies of Secretary Clinton’s emails to/from accounts ending in ‘.gov’ for her tenure at the Department,” Mills wrote to David Wade on Aug. 22, 2014 under subject line “following up.”

“I will be able to get that to you, to the best of its availability. Given the volume, it will take some time to do but I wanted to let you know that I am working to get it to you,” Mills continued.

The new batch of 189 documents, obtained through Judicial Watch’s Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, show that State gave Clinton an informal request several months before the Department’s official request for documents. Both State and the campaign have acknowledged that conversations on the issue had been going on before the official request was sent, but it has been unclear how early.

Here is what Judicial Watch had to say about this revelation:

“The State Department and Mrs. Clinton have been misleading the American people, the Congress, and the courts about when the State Department asked her for the government emails she took with her when she left State,” said Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton. “The new emails show that Hillary Clinton was specifically and separately asked for her government emails months earlier than when the State Department has told the courts and when Clinton told the American people… Were the White House and John Kerry in on this deception?”

So why the delay? Was it simply because of the high volume of emails as Cheryl Mills alludes to or is there more to the story? Something does not add up here: if it was simply the volume of the emails why did the former Secretary of State feel the need to lie to the American people about the time frame of the original request?

Reluctance should cause the investigation to delibrately slow down. Shift into slow, thorough, methodical, mode. That will make a concrete case against Hillary, and stall pending possible actions, until August or September. I like the timing, and it will be caused by none other, than Hillary. The lengthened timeframe will allow greater time to be dedicated to the satellite investigations and increase the odds and probabilities to flip more than one staff member, and I suggest if so, grant immunity from prosecution in return for testimony and evidence against Hillary. Stalling now, is good. Previous stalling, is even better.

    I live for this stuff.

I would have to agree with you: Hillary’s stalling has provided great timing with the election coming up and it is mostly her fault that this is now bleeding into the election. There is no need to rush this, let it play out and it could be her undoing.

Some of these emails are fascinating. Unfortunately they are not getting the attention they deserve. I agree, one of her minions must be flipped.. But not too soon.

Agreed! This is not getting the attention it deserves and we all know why.
If the minions can be flipped it could be a game changer!

Ho hum, more of the same. Hillary will suffer right after the MSM reports that the late Antonin Scalia died under suspicious circumstances. Here in New York the Scalia story has been eclipsed by a former New York governor, who resigned in disgrace over a sex scandal, standing accused of choking a high priced prostitute. Hillary slithers all the way into the Oval Office…woof woof.

Yeah, I wouldn’t hold my breath waiting for either one of them to be reported…
