A second State Department worker refuses to testify in front of the Congress about Hillary Clinton’s email scandal

March 14, 2016

John Bentel, a retired State Department official who managed security in the department, has refused to testify willingly in front of the Congress about Hillary Clinton’s personal email server. This makes him the second State Department official to refuse to tell the Congress what he knows, here is more:

A State Department staffer who oversaw security and technology issues for Hillary Clinton is refusing to answer Senate investigators’ questions about the former secretary of state’s use of a private email server — marking the second time an ex-State employee has declined to talk to lawmakers.

John Bentel, a now-retired State employee who managed IT security issues for the top echelon at the department, declined to be interviewed by GOP staff on the Senate Judiciary and Homeland Security committees, according to a letter obtained by POLITICO.

Needless to say, Sens. Chuck Grassley and Ron Johnson are not happy and it appears as if they are threatening to subpoena John Bentel:

“We are troubled by your refusal to engage with the committees even after repeated overtures of accommodation,” the letter to Bentel and his lawyer reads. “We need to speak with you. … We would, of course, prefer that you meet with us in a voluntary and informal manner, but we will consider other options if faced with a continuing lack of cooperation.”

If he is not willing to testify willingly about what he knows I can almost guarantee that if he is compelled to testify he will plead the Fifth rather than spill the beans on the former Secretary of State. There is only one way to find out what he is hiding, or afraid to admit, and that would be for the Congress to follow the lead of the Justice Department in regards to Bryan Pagliano and grant him immunity in return for his testimony. I have no doubt he knows something and this is the only way to find out what it is.

This deballed congress is powerless and will continue to do little more pull a “Darrell Issa” in regards to buffalo butt’s latest and greatest escapade.

Grant Immunity From Prosecution, and spirit him off into the Federal Witness Protection Program, or he may be like Vincent Foster.

I imagine there is alot of “wondering” which way to go, to tell the truth, or a lie at all cost! Put ourselves in their positions now, I know I would not be sure that I might see the next sunrise if I were to tell the truth. They played the game and imagine it was FUN for awhile, but now there is a price to pay. Isn’t it amazing that others do not see the control this Administration and the Clintons have over the American people? I would probably be kicking myself in the BUTT to have gotten myself into that situation, but then again, I do not think I would have been there in the first place….imagine you would not have either. I wonder if greed comes into play here, somehow?

Beyond greed, it is the inflation of the id, ego, and super-ego. They were “getting over”, and “on top”. Of course they knew they were doing wrong. In cases such as this, it would be much better to burn the others because realistically, the individual in fear, has been already marked, for death.
Should the individual desire not to speak the truth, prison awaits and, if another person does speak the truth, it places the individual deeper, and closer to the subject/target of the investigation, and will bring additional charges and impeach any future testimony that could possibly be discovered and used in a bargain with prosecution and the courts. Understand something, Hillary has no room in her heart for anyone, and already wrote off her entire staff and would not mourn if any were found dead or, disappeared.

We all know Clintons mindset from years ago, a person just doesn’t change all of a sudden. This seems to be a no win situation for the underlings. Clinton will sell them out very easily. Yes, they knew what they were getting involved in, but I imagine Clinton convinced them that no one will ever take her down. So far, she has been right, I am holding out for James Comey to do the right thing and I think he will, but then AG Lynch will not follow thru on his recommendations….will the people rise up then? Will remain to be seen.

Yeah Lou, these people knew the Clinton’s reputations and they put themselves in this position and now they could pay the price. When you lay down with dogs…
