There is already not a lot to do in New York because of the State’s draconian COVID-19 lockdown orders, but like most States outdoor activities are still allowed with some restrictions. So if you are in New York and you are looking to pass the time doing something besides working or if you are a young person looking for wholesome activities to help you stay out of trouble you have few options, and those options are about to get fewer because Bill de Blasio is trying to punish Donald Trump.
Apparently Donald Trump owns a couple of outdoor skating rinks in New York and according to this story Mayor Bill de Blasio is shutting them down because of who owns them, not for any concern over public safety. Here is more:
Skaters arriving at Central Park’s two ice rinks are in for a cold awakening next week — the rinks, which are both managed by the Trump Organization, are being shuttered by City Hall to punish the former president for the deadly Jan. 6 Capitol riot, The Post has learned.
The rink contracts had been set to expire in April, but Mayor de Blasio has moved to ice Trump out a month early, effective Feb. 26.
The Trump Organization is closing its doors after close of business on Sunday, so it will have time to pack up its belongings — including some 1,700 pairs
“Trump has been impeached from operating the ice rink,” a de Blasio spokesman had said Jan. 31 in announcing the concession terminations for Wollman Rink, along with Lasker Rink, the Central Park Carousel and Trump Golf Links at Ferry Point in the Bronx.
If you think that maybe the article is making a political point out of this and that maybe the reason for the ice rink shutdown has nothing to do with the owner then read that last paragraph again. Bill de Blasio thinks he is being witty and clever by saying he has impeached a Donald Trump business venture but the only ones being hurt by his vendetta are the children liberals pretend to care so much about. Andrew Cuomo threatens New York Democrat over COVID nursing home edict, Bill de Blasio says it’s business as usual
It was not all that long ago that Democrats in the Big Apple were looking to shield Andrew Cuomo from an investigation into his COVID-19 nursing home edict by blocking a subpoena aimed at getting to the bottom of the scandal, but now that the FBI is getting involved in the investigation it appears as if New York Democrats are not so willing to stick out their necks for the big guy.
A New York Democrat by the name of Ron Kim came out recently and accused Andrew Cuomo of threatening to destroy him if he did not lie for the disgraced Governor but naturally the mainstream media did not believe him because Andrew Cuomo is one of their chosen ones.
New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo has been pleading with lawmakers for support and even threatening political retribution against Democrats who have criticized him in an aggressive effort to contain political fallout from revelations that his administration had concealed the full extent of nursing home-related deaths during the Covid pandemic.
“Gov. Cuomo called me directly on Thursday to threaten my career if I did not cover up for Melissa [DeRosa] and what she said. He tried to pressure me to issue a statement, and it was a very traumatizing experience,” Kim said. Cuomo proceeded to tell the assemblyman that “we’re in this business together and we don’t cross certain lines and he said I hadn’t seen his wrath and that he can destroy me,” according to Kim.
While the media did not want to believe the accusation there was another prominent New York Democrat who does believe the story and it is none other than Bill de Blasio. In fact he said this is the way Andrew Cuomo operates and has operated that was for a long time. Here is more:

Although he tried to keep it on the downlow, especially after writing a book about how brilliant he was during the COVID pandemic, word is finally starting to get out there about Andrew Cuomo’s deadly nursing home directive which led to the death of thousands of elderly New York residents and the coverup that ensued.
Now, according to this story, the FBI and a Brooklyn prosecutor are opening an investigation into the coverup. Here is more:
The FBI and the U.S. attorney’s office in Brooklyn have launched an investigation that is examining, at least in part, the actions of Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo’s coronavirus task force in its handling of nursing homes and other long-term care facilities during the pandemic, the Times Union has learned.
The probe by the U.S. attorney’s office in the Eastern District of New York is apparently in its early stages and is focusing on the work of some of the senior members of the governor’s task force, according to a person with direct knowledge of the matter who is not authorized to comment publicly.
This should be an open and shut case after we learned from one of Andrew Cuomo’s top aides that he deliberately hid the deaths to avoid a Federal investigation, but history tells us how this will end. Andrew Cuomo has Presidential aspirations and he is not going to let a small thing like thousands of elderly dying because of his actions get in the way. This investigation will be used to sweep this all under the rug to clear the path for his Presidential run when the time comes, much like the IRS targeting scandal or Operation Fast and Furious were during the Obama years.

Biden says minorities do not know how to use the internet
During last night’s town hall meeting Joe Biden was asked about people registering on the internet for COVID vaccinations and he made the odd comment that the problem with online registration is many black and Hispanic people do not know how to get online. Here is what he said:
The other part — portion is a lot of people don’t know how to register. Not everybody in the community, in the Hispanic and the African-American community, particularly in rural areas that are distant and/or inner city districts know how to use — know how to get online to determine how to get in line for that COVID vaccination at the Walgreen’s or at the particular store.
So let me see if I have this straight; the man who also said the biggest problem facing America today is the rise of white supremacy which is being fueled by former military and police is now claiming minorities are not smart enough to use the internet.

Joe Biden believes the biggest threat facing America is the rise in white supremacy (I thought at one point he said it was global warming) and domestic terrorism. (The left defines domestic terrorists as those people who disagree with a radical left agenda)
We know how the left feels about the military and police; you might remember the infamous right wing terrorist memo Barack Obama released when he was President which included military, police, and abortion activists as people to keep a close eye on. Well it has been said that Joe Biden is serving Barack Obama’s third term and he certainly sounded like the former President last night when he blamed ex-military and the police for the rise in white supremacy.
We will give him the point that there is a rise in white supremacy for the sake of this post, although it seems to be another manufactured crisis, because what Joe Biden said is offensive and disrespectful to our military and police even if there was a rise in white supremacy. Here is more:
Biden said, “I got involved in politics, to begin with because of civil rights and opposition to white supremacist, the Ku Klux Klan and the most dangerous people on America continue to exist. That is the greatest threat of terror in America, domestic terror. So I would make sure my Justice Department and the Civil Rights Division is focused heavily on those very folks. I would make sure we focus on how to deal with the rise of white supremacy. You see what’s happening the studies that are beginning to be done, maybe at your university as well, about the impact of former military, former police officers on the growth of white supremacy in some of these groups.”

Utah becomes seventeenth State to pass Constitutional carry
With the wealth of negativity coming from Washington and the circus our Federal government has become how about we turn to one of the States for a little good news? Utah has become the 17th State to abolish the need for a permit to carry concealed in the State. Here is more:
Today, February 12th, Utah Governor Spencer Cox signed HB 60 into law. The NRA would like to thank Governor Cox for his strong commitment to the Second Amendment and the rights of law-abiding citizens.
“There is no reason a law-abiding person should have to ask for permission to carry a firearm for self-defense,” said Jason Ouimet, executive director, NRA-ILA. “The passage of this bill demonstrates Utah’s commitment to protecting the Second Amendment rights of its citizens.” “We thank Gov. Cox, Rep. Brooks, and all who supported this important bill,” Ouimet concluded.
House Bill 60, sponsored by Representative Walt Brooks (R-75), allows a law-abiding adult to carry a concealed firearm in the State of Utah, without first needing to obtain government permission. This ensures that citizens have their right to self-defense without government red tape or delays. Additionally, this legislation maintains the existing Concealed Firearm Permit (CFP) system, so citizens who still wish to obtain a permit may do so.
This is a growing trend in the United States and hopefully the movement will continue to grow, as I expect Joe Biden to make a major push on gun control in the coming weeks using nothing but his pen and his phone. If enough States move in this direction maybe it will serve as a warning to the gun grabbers in Washington DC not to push it too far.

Despite New York Democrats doing their best to protect Andrew Cuomo by blocking a subpoena for nursing home death data related to his disastrous COVID-19 nursing home directive the truth is slowly getting out there. The request for this data was made after the New York Attorney General reported that Andrew Cuomo underreported the nursing home deaths by 50% and now it is getting even worse for the man who wants to be President in the future.
According to this story the underreporting of these deaths was not due to negligence or an oversight but was an intentional act by the Governor to avoid a Federal investigation. Here is more:
Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s (D-NY) top aide admitted that her team withheld the number of deaths related to COVID-19 in New York’s nursing homes to shield the Cuomo government from federal investigation and political scrutiny.
The New York Post reported on Thursday that Melissa DeRosa, New York’s secretary to the governor, apologized to Democrat state legislators for “political” damage caused by the Cuomo government’s suppression of information related to nursing home COVID-19 deaths.
In a recorded call with state Democrat lawmakers, DeRosa said Cuomo’s team feared a federal investigation in the context of former President Donald Trump’s highlighting of coronavirus-related deaths in New York’s nursing homes. This fear motivated Cuomo’s government to suppress the statistics against requests for such information from the state’s government and citizens’ organizations.
When things went awry in New York and the death total began rising due to the poor direction of the Governor his first reaction was not to find out what went wrong and to correct it so more people did not die, but rather to cover it up because he had higher political aspirations and he did not want anything to get in the way.

When the boutique tech firm Yosi Health developed software aimed at streamlining the nation’s coronavirus vaccine effort, CEO Hari Prasad sought help from one of its earliest investors — a company with a special government connection.
The investor was StartUp Health, and that special connection came through its chief medical officer, Howard Krein, who is married to President Joe Biden’s daughter.
That detail that was not lost on Yosi’s Prasad, who reached out to StartUp Health in December with a request to introduce their platform to government health officials.
“Our goal with StartUp Health is to leverage their relationships and work with state and federal agencies,” he explained in an interview with ABC News.
It is all right there in black and white; it is pretty evident what “leverage their relationships” means.
“Howard Krein is playing with fire,” said Meredith McGehee, the executive director of Issue One, a nonpartisan ethics watchdog group. “If he gets too close to that flame — if he is trying to either cash in on his relationship with the president, or he is trying to influence policy — the flame is going to get him. And it is not worth it to him or to Biden.”
Krein helps oversee StartUp Health investments in hundreds of companies, including some hoping to break through with the federal agencies battling the global coronavirus pandemic.
Since 2011, when Krein founded the firm with his brother Steven Krein and veteran tech entrepreneur Unity Stoakes, Joe Biden has been an active supporter of the venture — headlining corporate conferences and inviting the company’s executives to the Oval Office to meet then-President Barack Obama.
Is it any wonder Joe Biden has been an “active supporter of the venture?” The only thing surprising about this article is the fact it comes from ABC, nothing in the article itself surprises me, we have seen how the Biden family operates for decades now. It would have been nice if this type of reporting was done a few months ago, before it was too late to do anything about it.
