Department of Justice drops charges against arms dealer accused of selling weapons to Libyan rebels
According to this story Barack Obama’s Department of Injustice is moving to drop charges against an arms dealer it had accused of supplying weapons to Libyan rebels. Here is more:
The Obama administration is moving to dismiss charges against an arms dealer it had accused of selling weapons that were destined for Libyan rebels.
Lawyers for the Justice Department on Monday filed a motion in federal court in Phoenix to drop the case against the arms dealer, an American named Marc Turi, whose lawyers also signed the motion.
Government lawyers were facing a Wednesday deadline to produce documents to Turi’s legal team, and the trial was officially set to begin on Election Day, although it likely would have been delayed by protracted disputes about classified information in the case.

I have mentioned before that a gaffe was when a politician accidentally tells the truth and yesterday Bill Clinton had one of those moments when he trashed Obamacare as a “crazy system” which hurts “small businesses” and the middle class. (Individuals who make just too much to get the subsidies, as he put it.) He also said it is the “craziest thing in the world” and “it doesn’t make any sense” and “the model doesn’t work” because it favors the insurance companies.
Isn’t this what we have been saying for years? Oh, and by the way, weren’t we called racists for pointing out these defects?
Bill Clinton did not take long to walk back these comments but this was not just an off the cuff remark, this was a well thought out, nuanced, and rehearsed attack on Obamacare. As I said above, he accidentally told the truth and somebody in the Democratic party must have got to him and told him this is no time to tell the truth–there is an election to win after all…

Department of Justice ‘side agreements’ allowed Clinton aides to destroy their laptops
According to this story, in addition to limiting what the investigators could look at in Hillary Clinton’s aide’s computers, the Department of Injustice allowed federal agents to destroy the laptops of Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson.

House Republicans are demanding to know why Justice Department officials entered into a pair of “side agreement” with Cheryl Mills and Heather Samuelson — two of Hillary Clinton’s top former aides who went on to become her personal attorneys during the FBI’s email investigation — that allowed law enforcement agents to destroy their laptops after searching their hard drives for evidence.
In a letter from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte to Attorney General Loretta Lynch on Monday, Goodlatte questioned why the destruction of the laptops used to sort Clinton’s emails was included in immunity deals that already protected Mills and Samuelson from prosecution based on the records recovered from their computers.
In his letter, Goodlatte noted that the immunity agreements revealed the FBI agents limited their search to documents authored before Jan. 2015.

This story has been all over the internet today so forgive me if you have already had your fill of it but this is just too good for me to ignore and I must give my take on it. Audio has surfaced of Hillary Clinton giving a speech during a fundraiser which was held last February, and in this video she is going after Sanders supporters and I guess what you could call their naivete.

“There is a strain of, on the one hand, the kind of populist, nationalist, xenophobic, discriminatory kind of approach that we hear too much of from the Republican candidates,” she said. “And on the other side, there’s just a deep desire to believe that we can have free college, free healthcare, that what we’ve done hasn’t gone far enough, and that we just need to, you know, go as far as, you know, Scandinavia, whatever that means, and half the people don’t know what that means, but it’s something that they deeply feel.”
After calling Trump supporters racists she then lays into Sanders supporters, claiming they really do not know what they are talking about by saying they do not know “what it means” but that the “deeply feel” what she is obviously admitting is unobtainable without destroying the middle class.
His ideas are indefensible, the amount of taxes that would be raised on middle-class families is quite significant. He says we need to be a lot like Scandinavia. OK. Denmark, the top tax rate for middle-class families is 55 percent with a 25 percent value-added tax on top of that.
But the former Secretary of State’s attack on Sanders supporters did not stop there:

Large corporations have come under heavy scrutiny in recent years for outsourcing American jobs. Most of the scrutiny has come from the Democrats which is why I find this story to be so interesting if it is true. Apparently Hillary Clinton’s State Department spent millions of taxpayer dollars to help foreign nations improve their outsourcing capacity.

In 2010, the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) spent tens of millions of taxpayer dollars building schools in Sri Lanka and Armenia, specifically to increase those countries’ outsourcing capacity to take away American jobs.
“The U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is an independent federal agency that receives overall foreign policy guidance from the Secretary of State… USAID plans its development and assistance programs in coordination with the Department of State,” according to the State Department’s website.
And that is not all:

The FBI is on quite a roll: first; after listing all the reasons why Hillary Clinton should be charged for her actions in the email scandal James Comey decided not to seek prosecution and now we are learning the FBI may have covered up the motive of the Orlando night club shooting terrorist.
The FBI was reluctant to release the transcripts of the calls Omar Mateen made during the shooting, supposedly out of respect for the victims’ families, before finally relenting and releasing a partial transcript. I have always found it odd the FBI would not release the entire transcript because it appeared as if the agency was trying to hide something.
The Orlando Police Department has now released the full transcript and it is interesting to note what was in it that the FBI decided the American people did not need to know. Here is more:
Hillary Clinton deleted nearly 1,000 emails to David Petraeus
We have been told over and over again that Hillary Clinton only deleted personal emails about yoga pants and wedding dresses but to date not one single email which has been recovered has been a personal email. There have been some interesting revelations to come to come out of the FBI’s long weekend document dump and here is another one:
In Aug. 2015, the Pentagon called the State Department and informed an unnamed official there that “CENTCOM records showed approximately 1,000 work-related emails between Clinton’s personal email and General David Petraeus.”
The FBI noted that “[m]ost of those 1,000 emails were not believed to be included in the 30,000 emails” that Clinton turned over to the State Department in Dec. 2014.
Included in her so-called personal emails which were deleted were about 1,000 emails between the former Secretary of State and David Petraeus and CENTCOM went to far as to admit they were work related. This of course goes without saying because there is no way anyone in this world would ever believe she was emailing the former general about either yoga pants or wedding dresses.
The lie continues to unravel and yet Hillary Clinton is not going to be held accountable…

I am no longer looking at national polls because it is the individual state polls which really matter and in recent weeks we have seen Donald Trump making headway in several swing states, so much in fact that he now has a clear path to 270 Electoral College votes.
A new CNN poll is out which shows Donald Trump now in the lead in Colorado and surging in Pennsylvania, here is more:
In a four way match up, Trump leads Clinton 42 percent to 41 percent in Colorado, according to a new CNN/ORC poll.
Libertarian candidate Gary Johnson raked in 13 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein received three percent.
In a head-to-head match up between Trump and Clinton in Colorado, the poll shows she leads by two points, 49 percent to 47 percent.
The margin of error for the survey is plus or minus three points.
