In an effort to make it look as though it is doing something about the IRS targeting scandal the House Oversight Committee voted to censure IRS chief John Koskinen. It will now be headed to the full House for a vote. Here is more:
The House Oversight Committee voted on party lines Wednesday to send a resolution censuring IRS Commissioner John Koskinen to the full House, amid a dispute over whether Koskinen could be stripped of his pension if the resolution is adopted by the House.
Federal Judge discloses the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails is a ‘criminal investigation’
Despite having been granted immunity in Hillary Clinton’s email scandal the man who set up and maintained the former Secretary of State’s personal email server, Bryan Pagliano, informed Judicial Watch and the court that he would plead the Fifth Amendment. This led a Federal Judge to delay Bryan Pagliano’s deposition and he ordered him to release the details of his immunity agreement in order to review it.
Today U.S. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan issued a statement about the immunity agreement in which he verified the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server for official business is indeed a criminal investigation.

In the wake of the horrific terrorist attack yesterday in Orlando Hillary Clinton called on several Middle Eastern countries to “stop their citizens from funding extremist organizations.” She also called on these nations to stop supporting radical schools and mosques. Here is part of what she said:
“For starters, it is long past time for the Saudis, the Qataris and the Kuwaitis and others to stop their citizens from funding extremist organizations,” Clinton said. “And they should stop supporting radical schools and mosques around the world that have sent too many young people on a path toward extremism.”

Emails reveal a major Clinton Foundation donor with no experience was named to the International Security Advisory Board
The more we learn about Hillary Clinton and her emails the more damaging it becomes for the former Secretary of State. We have pretty much learned that The Clinton Foundation was a giant slush fund and pay to play, or if you prefer quid pro quo, was the name of the game.
But the Clinton’s would never take this shadowy game to the level of risking national security to return a favor to a mega-donor, would they? Well, according to this story, yes they would: A major donor to both the Democratic Party and The Clinton Foundation ended up on the International Security Advisory Board, and thusly was given the” highest levels of top secret access” even though he had no qualifications in this field–his expertise is in computer-generated stock trading. (That is interesting in itself.)

Earlier today, apparently not understanding the term shall not be infringed, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that concealed carry is not a right guaranteed under the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution. Here is more:
A federal appeals court in San Francisco ruled Thursday that people do not have a Second Amendment right to carry concealed weapons in public, in a sweeping decision likely to be challenged by gun-rights advocates.
An 11-judge panel of the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals issued the 7-4 ruling, upholding a state law requiring applicants to show “good cause,” such as a fear of personal safety, to carry a concealed firearm.
The judges, further, definitively dismissed the argument that a right to carry a concealed weapon was contained in the Second Amendment.
“We hold that the Second Amendment does not preserve or protect a right of a member of the general public to carry concealed firearms in public,” Judge William Fletcher wrote in the majority opinion.
Personal safety is ALWAYS a “good cause” and should need no further explanation or justification…
I have written three posts in the past about how Hillary Clinton could have exposed the names of CIA operatives who are working in the field: In this story we found out that Sidney Blumenthal sent Hillary Clinton an email which included the name of a top CIA operative working in Libya which she then passed on to others. Of course Sidney Blumenthal did not have the proper clearance to receive this information in the first place because Barack Obama forbade the former Secretary of State from appointing her to he cabinet. We also learned that Hillary Clinton discussed by name an Afghan national who was working with the CIA, and that she also shared “operational intelligence” which could have put lives in danger.
As bad as that is the AP is reporting that the possibility that Hillary Clinton might have jeopardized field operatives is more extensive than we previously thought. Here is more:
Bernie Sanders supporters are livid AP declared Hillary Clinton the party’s presumptive nominee
After the Puerto Rico Democratic primary over the weekend the AP redid the math and determined that Hillary Clinton won enough delegates and superdelegates to be declared the Democratic presumptive nominee. With this happening on the eve of the California primary–where Bernie Sanders had hoped a victory would give him claim to the nomination at a brokered convention–the news did not sit well with the Senator from Vermont’s supporters.

Supporters of Bernie Sanders expressed outrage in the hours leading up to Tuesday’s primary elections, upset that The Associated Press and several television networks had already declared rival Hillary Clinton the party’s presumptive nominee.
When the mainstream media calls the polls, calls the election, because they’re already planning to do it to suppress the vote in California, we will fight on,” said Nina Turner, a former Ohio state senator and one of Sanders’ top surrogates.
Morgan Reed, a rafting guide from Mendicino, California, attended the rally and said it was unseemly for the media to call the race for Clinton so close to the start of voting in California, warning that it amounted to “disenfranchising the vote.”
“It’s ridiculous. California is the biggest state in the nation,” she said.
Patrick Bryant of San Francisco, who also attended the Sanders’ rally, said the decision was disappointing: “It’s what bookies do. They call fights before they’re over.”
On Tuesday, the frustration was evident on social media, as angry Sanders’ supporters accused AP and the television networks of stifling voter turnout and relying upon superdelegates who won’t formally cast their vote until the party’s Philadelphia convention in July.
The Sanders campaign added fuel to the fire by calling this a “rush to judgement.”

Bernie Sanders asked if it is sexist because he is ‘standing in the way’ of Hillary Clinton’s nomination
Earlier today Bernie Sanders was asked if it was sexist for him to stand in the way of Hillary Clinton’s nomination, here is how it went down:
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) incredulously responded to a reporter at a press conference today in Emeryville, Calif., who asked if his continued challenge of Hillary Clinton is sexist.
Sanders at first tried to call on another reporter who was raising his hand as a female reporter interjected with her question, asking what the senator would say to women who say his staying in the race “is sexist because you’re standing in the way of who could be the first female president.”
Sanders chuckled and replied, “Is that a serious question?”
“Yes, it is a serious question,” the reporter shot back.
“Any woman who is running for president — your question implies that any woman, that any person, any woman who is running for president is by definition the best candidate,” Sanders said.
“So if Hillary Clinton runs for president, is your point that it is sexist for any man to oppose her?” he added.
“No, my point is if she has more delegates than you tomorrow –” the reporter said.
“Well, that’s another point… I don’t think it is sexist. I think that the issue is, first of all, our focus right now is running and winning right here in California,” Sanders said.
“And the second point I’ve made is that it is absolutely imperative that we defeat Donald Trump as a candidate for president of the United States. I believe I am the strongest candidate,” Sanders said.
This was a ridiculous question to ask so Bernie Sanders was justified in feeling incredulous for having to answer it. After all this was probably the last question he expected from the mainstream media, this type of question is usually reserved for Republican candidates so he must have been shocked that the intellectual fascism, more popularly known as political correctness, actually came back to haunt him.
I have to admit I found it quite enjoyable…
