In his latest Firewall video entitled “Terrorist Nation” Bill Whittle tackles the Palestinians and a group that he claims is on many United States college campuses called Students for Justice in Palestine.
This is a hard hitting addition of the Firewall and I normally tell you to enjoy Bill Whittle videos when I post them but there is nothing to enjoy about this.

Earlier today Mitt Romney told a group of donors that he is seriously considering running for President in 2016. Here is more:
Mitt Romney, the 2012 Republican presidential nominee, told Republican donors in New York on Friday that he is seriously considering a third presidential campaign in 2016, according to a source present at the meeting.
This is what his former(?) finance co-chairman had to say about this news:
“I believe Mitt Romney is too much of a patriot to sit on the sidelines and concede the presidency to Hillary Clinton or Elizabeth Warren when he knows that he can fix the country,” Zwick said. “He traveled the country in 2014, met with voters, met with citizens, and I think at the end of the day he believes he could actually make a difference.”
Is John Boehner backtracking from punishing conservatives who voted against him for Speaker?
After wasting no time in punishing two conservatives who voted against him for Speaker it is being reported in this article that John Boehner might be backtracking from this decision.

Some of the House conservatives who betrayed Speaker John Boehner might escape immediate retribution after all.
Boehner is in a familiar jam: Many of his closest allies want him to pummel members who defy him. The rank and file think retribution is a step too far. And Boehner’s style deters him from punishing people, even when they publicly embarrass him.
Some lawmakers and aides close to Boehner say Rep. Richard Nugent (R-Fla.) might win back his prized seat on the elite, speaker-appointed Rules Committee, and Reps. Mark Meadows (R-N.C.) and Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) may even get to chair subcommittees on other panels, even though all three voted against Boehner.
I take issue with the article’s claim that John Boehner’s style deters him from punishing people because he has done it in the past. If he does backtrack it is because of the heat he is feeling and it is not due to his personality.
I, for one, will believe it when I see it but perhaps it is possible that we spoke loudly enough and to the point where we could not be ignored. And it does not hurt that Louie Gohmert promised a nasty fight over this issue.

Louie Gohmert on John Boehner’s revenge: ‘we’re going to have another fight and it’s going to be pretty nasty’
After winning another term as Speaker of the House John Boehner wasted no time in seeking revenge against some of those who voted against him when he removed Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent from their positions on the House Rules Committee.
Needless to say, this did not sit well with two of the people who volunteered their services as the next Speaker of the House, Louie Gohmert and Ted Yoho.
During an interview with Sean Hannity both Louie Gohmert and Ted Yoho addressed this issue. Louie Gohmert stated that if Daniel Webster and Richard Nugent were removed from their positions in retaliation–for at the time of the interview it was unconfirmed–“we’re going to have another fight and it is going to be pretty nasty.”
Ted Yaho took it to another level when he compared John Boehner’s stifling of political dissension to what is expected in China, Cuba, Russia, or any other communist nation, but not in a country where we are free to regress our grievances with the government.

It is now being reported in this story that next week House Republicans will bring up a bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security which will include language barring the department from using any of the funds to implement Barack Obama’s Executive immigration.

Speaker John Boehner and the House Republicans are planning to try to choke off President Barack Obama’s immigration executive action next week, according to multiple GOP leadership aides involved in the talks.
House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) plans to bring up a bill next week to fund the Department of Homeland Security, and embedded in the text will probably be language to limit funding for carrying out Obama’s executive action, which changed the enforcement of immigration laws.
No final decisions have been made, and it’s not clear what language the GOP leadership will use. But Rules Chairman Pete Sessions (R-Texas) said Wednesday that House Republicans are poised to use a measure written by Rep. Mick Mulvaney (R-S.C.) that would explicitly bar any funds — even those collected by fees — to be used to carry out Obama’s immigration actions.
John Boehner begins to exact his revenge on conservatives who voted against him for Speaker
As you are all well aware of by this point in time, John Boehner barely managed to hold onto to his position as Speaker. The result ended up being much closer than I thought it would be, but he managed to retain his title.
While driving to work this morning I heard a clip on the radio of one of Boehner’s allies–forgive me I did not catch his name–make a statement which went something like this, and I paraphrase; if you are going to kill the king you had better make sure he is dead.
If anyone out there heard the quote and knows this man’s name please let me know who it was so I can update this post.
Knowing John Boehner’s history of punishing conservatives who do not fall in line with the establishment I took that as a thinly veiled threat.
Now John Boehner is making good on that threat, he has begun exact his revenge on his conservative Republican opponents.
Louie Gohmert lists John Boehner’s broken promises
Yesterday Texas Republican Louie Gohmert announced that he would be voting against John Boehner for Speaker of the House and he put his name forward as a possible candidate to replace the current Speaker.
Today he released a list of John Boehner’s broken promises, here it is:
- Promising to “fight tooth and nail” against Obama’s executive amnesty orders, but then allowing the CRomnibus bill to proceed forward with it still being funded;
- Promising every debt ceiling increase would be paired with a spending cut, but that has not happened;
- Promising Members would have time to properly read bills, then allowing only a three day period, which in reality was actually only two days;
- Promising a regular order of bills through committees, but bills keep coming to the floor without having followed that process;
- Promising that sequestrations would not happen, but then later declaring that they were necessary;
- Promising he would only serve one term as Speaker when he first ran; and
- Promising to have more transparent and open Speakership than Pelosi, who would not allow amendments, but instead running what Gohmert dubbed “the most closed Speakership in the history of the country.
Did Barack Obama’s choice to replace Eric Holder, Loretta Lynch, cheat fraud victims out of a $40 million settlement?
Loretta Lynch has been tapped by the President to replace Eric Holder as Attorney General. It is now being reported that more than a year ago the House Judiciary Committee was asked to look into the possibility that her office mishandled a stock market fraud case which deprived victims of $40 million in losses.

Chalk this story up in the deliciously ironic category: Harvard faculty, many of whom supported Obamacare, are now upset that healthcare regulations which they have been championing for years will also apply to them and cause their insurance premiums and co-pays to rise.

Obamacare: half of those who received subsidies got too much money and will have to pay the IRS
H&R Block is estimating that up to half of those who received subsidies under Obamacare got too much money and as a result will get lower returns then expected while some may end up owing the IRS money.
The problem seems to be that when subsidies are calculated they use prior year tax returns to estimate future revenue to determine the amount a person is eligible for, so if a person earned more money in 2014 than in previous years they most likely received too much money and will have to pay it back.
