Healthcare group claims massive job loss due to Obamacare
Kathleen Sebelius recently said there was no evidence that Obamacare was costing people in the healthcare industry to lose their jobs, going so far as to claim reports to the contrary were nothing but a myth:
“There is absolutely no evidence, and every economist will tell you this, that there is any job loss related to the Affordable Care Act,” Sebelius said Monday in Orlando. “Part-time physicians are actually down since 2010, not up. The number of full-time workers continues to increase. I know that’s a popular myth that continues to be repeated but it just is not accurate.”
However, a report released by AdvaMed contradicts Kathleen Sebelius’s statement:
A new report from a top health care industry trade organization contradicts Kathleen Sebelius’ recent claim that no job loss will occur under Obamacare.
Obamacare’s medical device tax has already created a job loss of 33,000 in the medical device industry and 132,0o0 more job losses are expected, according to a new report from the industry trade group the Advanced Medical Technology Association (AdvaMed), obtained by the Daily Caller.

Democrats pressure the media to provide more global warming propaganda
I first wrote about this story back on January 15th, but it is back in the news so I must write about it once again. Democrats, frustrated with the lack of media coverage regarding global warming, have sent a letter to several mainstream media outlets urging them to provide the public with more global warming propaganda.
According to Sanders, “It is beyond my comprehension… that their shows have discussed climate change in 2012, collectively, for all of eight minutes.” Sanders is using liberal watchdog group Media Matters for America as his source. MMfA’s data indicates that, in 2009, the Sunday shows covered climate change topics for over an hour, and in 2012, Sunday show coverage dropped to less than eight minutes on climate change.
Sanders and his colleagues plan to send the letter because, according to Sanders, Sunday TV coverage is not proportional to the gravity of the situation. “What [the networks] are saying is, climate change is a non-important issue, it is an irrelevant issue, and yet the scientific community tells us that it is the greatest crisis facing this planet,” he said.

Do the establishment Republicans want the IRS to target the Tea Party?
Do the establishment Republicans actually secretly approve of the IRS’s targeting of conservatives and Tea Party organizations? Is this why the establishment Republicans seem to be unwilling to call for an independent investigation into this scandal?
Pat Caddell, who is a Democratic pollster, thinks so:
“The establishment Republicans want the IRS to go after the Tea Parties,” Caddell told Fox News on Sunday.
“When you have 71 percent who want an investigation, 64 percent who believe that it is a sign of corruption including nearly a majority of Democrats,” Caddell said, “the reason is the establishment Republicans want the IRS to go after the Tea Parties. Got it?”
Caddell said the GOP establishment is happy to have the IRS take the Tea Party down a notch.
“Because the Tea Parties are an outside threat to their power hold and I’m telling you the lobbying consulting class of the Republican party and Republican leadership who have been attacking the Tea Parties, and alienating them, they want the IRS to do this,” he said.
A homophobic Muslim tries to burn down a gay bar, the mainstream media remains silent
On New Year’s Eve a homophobic Muslim (but I repeat myself) tried to burn down a gay bar in Seattle while 700 people were inside. It has been reported on the internet he has said that gay people should be exterminated.
Seattle police arrested Musab Mohamed Masmari this morning in association with the New Year’s Eve arson at Neighbours nightclub, says Detective Mark Jamieson.
The Seattle Police Department’s Arson/Bomb Squad had been working with a joint terrorism task force since the incident occurred in the early minutes of January 1, when someone poured gasoline down a flight of stairs in the packed gay bar and lit it ablaze. All 750 patrons escaped without injury.
Have you heard about this story in the mainstream media? That is a rhetorical question because of course you have not. This is odd because gay rights have been a major issue in the mainstream media for weeks, if not months, and Christians who adhere to the Bible’s teaching that homosexuality is a sin have come under attack for expressing their beliefs even though they have never resorted to violence to promote their beliefs–and probably never will.
The State Department is still aiding the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, claiming it is not a terrorist organization
According to this story the State Department has admitted it is still aiding the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, because of this the department still has refused to label the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organization:
Despite the fact that the Egyptian government has banned the Muslim Brotherhood, the US admits they are still working and meeting with the Muslim Brotherhood as part of a ‘broad outreach to the different parties and groups there.’ Seriously. After all that Morsi did, the Obama administration still feels that the Muslim Brotherhood should be part of the government, just as they did before.
They also admit that the US has not designated the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist group.
I am not surprised to learn this, however I find it to be interesting in light of a story I wrote about last week.

This week we saw two snowstorms in New Hampshire which dumped about a foot and a half of new snow with rumors of another storm heading our way on Tuesday.
Of course we know that the snow and the cold weather couldn’t possibly be due to the fact that it is Winter in New England, but must be the result of global warming. So for today’s musical selection I give you a propagandist little ditty entitled ‘Another way to Die’ performed by the band Disturbed.
I get a kick out of seeing these supposed tough guys who don’t need anybody else suddenly fall for the government’s lies and deception on global warming and fall in line, which is exactly what the government wants in the first place.
Some of the lyrics, such as: “apocalyptic plight, “millions cry out to be saved,” and “can we repent in time” do show us that whether or not the believers want to admit it global warming is their religion.
Obamacare: People with preexisting conditions could face much higher healthcare costs
There are a couple of provisions in Obamacare which have received universal praise. One of these provisions is the fact that people with preexisting conditions can no longer be denied healthcare coverage.
But, much like everything else with Barack Obama, all is not what it seems to be for while these people will have healthcare coverage it turns out that the insurers might not have to pay for their prescription medicines which means that these people will be facing much higher costs to receive the medications they need than they were led to believe.
A new poll has been released which shows that independent voters are turning on Barack Obama and his agenda in a big way on several issues:
Sixty-six percent of independents, and 90 percent of Republicans said they disapprove of “Barack Obama going around Congress and using executive orders.”
Sixty-two percent of independents, and 81 percent of Republicans, said the federal government is providing too many services to too many people.
Sixty-seven percent of independents, and 64 percent of Republicans, said the federal government’s policies have increased the wealth gap between rich and poor.
And what is the establishment Republicans’ plan to hold onto the House and gain control of the Senate in the 2014 election?
