Obamacare: Insurers report multiple errors with the people who have actually been able to sign up for healthcare on the exchanges
The problems with the Obamacare roll out have been well documented by the blogoshere yet little reported by the mainstream media, which found a convenient distraction in the government shutdown–a shutdown which nobody was affected by other than the non-essential government workers and those whom the president chose purposely to hurt–but now that the shutdown is over we are starting to see more reports trickle out about how bad Obamacare is already turning out to be.
We all have read the stories in the blogoshpere of people not being able to navigate the website and having problems enrolling in mandated coverage, but the problems go much deeper for it turns out the people who are unable to sign up on the healthcare exchanges may be the lucky ones. A deal has been reached to end the government shutdown
Earlier this afternoon Mitch McConnell and Harry Reid agreed to a deal which will end the government shutdown, and it seems that in all likelihood when the House votes on it later tonight it will pass.
So what did we learn from this episode? First; we learned that people who believe the government is too large and too powerful, people who want to see the government return to its constitutional founding, are nothing but extremists and terrorists. And this ties directly into the second thing we learned, and that is the fact that the establishment ruling class in Washington, Republican and Democrat alike, have no interest in giving up any of the power they have usurped over the years. This is why they consider people who believe in smaller government to be extremists and terrorists–we are a threat to their power and they do not like it one bit.
Senator Ayotte’s non-response to my email regarding her vote for cloture on the continuing resolution
Back on September the 27th I wrote this post about an email I sent to my Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte on her decision to vote for cloture on the continuing resolution.
Here is what I said to her in that email:
Senator Ayotte,
Your vote for cloture on the continuing resolution is the latest in an ever growing list of disappointments. While I am growing more disappointed with you by the day I am not surprised in the least. You were the establishment candidate while Ovide Lamontagne was the true conservative candidate and that is why I supported him in the primary instead of you, and every day you seem to prove that I was right in doing so.
I know what your excuse for the cloture vote will be: You will tell me that while you voted for cloture you still voted to defund Obamacare. But you know what a fallacy that argument is for you knew when you cast your vote for cloture that the funding would be restored, therefor you voted to restore the funding to Obamacare. You want to have it both ways and you think that the people are too stupid to see through this ruse.
I disagree with Senator Shaheen on virtually every issue but at least she is honest when she tells the people what she believes in and that is more than can be said for you. You are a liar, a phony, and a weakling. I say you are a weakling because you didn’t have the courage to take this issue all the way to a government shutdown if needs be. Do you really feel as if having the government shut down for a day or two would be the end of the world? If so I should add arrogant to the list as well.
I am looking more forward in 2016 to voting against you than I am in voting for Rand Paul for president for you have decided to put your own personal gain ahead of doing what is best for the American people and that is something that I will never forgive.
Since I sent that email I have been awaiting a response from my Senator which has never come. This is not surprising to me considering that out of all the many emails I have sent her she has only bothered to respond once, and that of course was nothing but a standard form letter.
But today when I got home from work and I checked the mailbox I was surprised to find I actually received a mailer from Senator Ayotte. My initial reaction was, could it be possible that my email actually generated a personal letter instead of a form email? However, before I even made it into the house I realized this envelope was much too thick to simply be a letter and I began to realize what it probably was.
The US Army labels the American Family Association a hate group
According to this article the United States Army held a briefing and the soldiers who attended were informed that the American Family Association should be considered a domestic hate group along the lines of the KKK and the Westboro Baptists. What did this organization do to draw the ire of the United States government? (For their can be no doubt that this came down from above.)

The details of the latest Republican proposal to end the government shutdown are still sketchy but if all of the reports are true it looks as if they are about to cave to the Democrats and give them virtually everything they wanted in the first place.
The debt ceiling will be raised, the government will be reopened, Obamacare will be funded,the individual mandate will not be delayed, and worst of all, many of the sequester cuts will be reversed. The Republican proposal is a temporary proposal for it lifts the debt ceiling for six weeks and only funds the government through the middle of December, at that point we have to live through this theater yet again. The temporary aspect of this proposal is a blatantly obvious attempt at saving face, but it is not the only face saving measure being proposed. Read more…
Afterburner with Bill Whittle: Non-Essential
Bill Whittle has done it again! The latest ‘Afterburner’ video is entitled ‘Non-Essential’ and in this video Bill Whittle explains that what Barack Obama and the Democrats fear most is that the government will partially shut down and nobody will notice. This, of course, is why Barack Obama is trying to make the shutdown as painful as possible.
Bill Whittle goes on to state that if people realize that 17% of the government is not essential they may ask for 17% of their tax money back. As Bill Whittle states, Barack Obama does not think there is any such thing as a non-essential government worker and that the only people he feels are non-essential are the people who oppose his radical agenda.

Obamacare: Barack Obama was warned months ago the website wouldn’t be ready for October 1st
While the Obama regime tries to spin the healthcare exchange website difficulties as a good sign by claiming this shows there is enormous, and unforeseen, interest in the exchanges, (forgetting to mention that people are mandated to join these exchanges whether they are really interested or not), the truth is that the Obama regime was warned months ago the website would not be ready and decided to go forward with the plan anyway.
Major insurers, state health-care officials and Democratic allies repeatedly warned the Obama administration in recent months that the new federal health-insurance exchange had significant problems, according to people familiar with the conversations. Despite those warnings and intense criticism from Republicans, the White House proceeded with an Oct. 1 launch.
Is it possible that we are beginning to see the first cracks emerge in the Democrats refusal to fund the government and delay the healthcare exchanges?
First Jon Stewart confronted Kathleen Sebelius over the Obamacare exchanges and the exceptions granted to certain people in the ruling class. He did this not because he wants Obamacare repealed or delayed, but rather because he wants a total government takeover of the healthcare system, so I kind of wrote this off. This is going to be the Democrat’s defense when pressured on the failure of the exchange website: It wouldn’t be this bad if we got the single-payer system we wanted. That’s right, their answer will be more government to fix a problem the government created.

Obamacare: Can personal information needed to sign up for healthcare be used for law enforcement?
If you apply for healthcare through an exchange in Maryland the answer to the question is yes:
The policy contains many standard statements about information automatically collected regarding Internet browsers and IP addresses, temporary “cookies” used by the site, and website accessibility. However, at least two conditions may give some users pause before proceeding.
The first is regarding personal information submitted with an application for those users who follow through on the sign up process all the way to the end. The policy states that all information to help in applying for coverage and even for making a payment will be kept strictly confidential and only be used to carry out the function of the marketplace. There is, however, an exception: “[W]e may share information provided in your application with the appropriate authorities for law enforcement and audit activities.”
Your information can be used for law enforcement or audit purposes and need I remind you that the corrupt IRS, which has been exchanging personal information directly with the White House, is in charge of implementing the healthcare reform law?
We have all seen the images of the WWII veterans trying to attend the WWII monument and the Iwo Jima monument and the barricades which were preventing them from what could possibly be their last chance to visit the monuments. We have also seen the Obama regime reinforce the blockades (too bad he didn’t do this in Benghazi) in order to insure these veterans could not visit the monument. The Obama regime even went so far as to call in the police to harass the veterans when they refused to take no for an answer.
This was the sickening act of a belligerent president hellbent on making the shutdown as painful as possible on the American people in an attempt to gain sympathy for his position. And it isn’t only the veterans who have been targeted by the Obama regime for they are shutting down open air parks and monuments all across the country, while private businesses which operate at no cost to the government are being forced to close because they are on federal land.
But as sickening as all of this is, what is even more sickening is this story:
