Benghazi: Darrell Issa blames Hillary Clinton’s policy of normalization for the attack
Darrell Issa spoke out yesterday about his investigation into the terrorist attack in Benghazi which left Chris Stevens (after being sodomized), Glen Doherty, Sean Smith, and Tyrone Woods dead and it is clear where he thinks the blame belongs:
Responsibility for the September 11 Benghazi assault and the deaths of four U.S. citizens — including Libyan ambassador Chris Stevens — lies personally at the feet of Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to California Republican Rep. Darrell Issa.
“The investigation really is now not about what we know, but about how we can prevent abuse of security before the fact, how we respond during the fact, and how we hold people accountable after the fact for deliberate misinformation — if you want to be kind — [and] outright lies, if not,” said Issa, who serves as head of the Oversight and Government reform committee.
“We know from Hillary Clinton on down there was a policy of normalization to make it appear as though we had won the war on terror,” Issa said. “I was in Libya just the other day, and one thing that I came back with was a strong opinion that that ‘stand down’ had everything to do with the fight between Department of State headed Hillary Clinton and the Defense Department, and that ultimately, State was willing to put their assets in, and did not want any military assets in, because they did not want to escalate what ultimately should have been escalated to a real rescue mission.”
According to Darrell Issa, Hillary Clinton had a policy of “normalization” designed to make it appear as if we were winning the war on terror and when push came to shove she was unwilling to help our heroes because she did not want to escalate the violence in the region.
Government shutdown: Barack Obama orders 22 privately run campgrounds in New Hampshire to close
For those of you who are not from New Hampshire (which would be almost all of you) the economy of what we refer to as the north country is basically reliant on two seasonal activities; skiing and leaf peeping. It goes without saying that during the Winter months skiing is a major attraction, drawing thousands of visitors to the White Mountain region, but thousands also travel north during the Fall months to check out the foliage.
The leaf peepers come to our state from all around the region and they purchase goods at our stores, eat in our restaurants, and sleep in our various lodgings, but this year it will be different because Barack Obama has ordered all 22 campgrounds located in the White Mountain National Forrest closed down even though they are privately run. PIL was formed in the late 70’s by Sex Pistols lead singer Johnny Rotten after the death of Sid Vicious and the breakup of the iconic punk rock band.
There are currently two factions in the Republican party: the McCain/Graham faction and the Lee/Cruz faction so today I dedicate the musical selection, in general, to all of those Republicans who have decided to throw their weight behind the ruling class elite Republicans in Washington and against the younger generation of Republicans, and specifically to my Republican Senator Kelly Ayotte, who has also decided to throw her lot in with the ruling class establishment. What a disappointment she has become!
Why ‘FFF’ and what does this dedication mean? ‘FFF’ stands for ‘Farewell my Fair Weather Friend’ and I find it to be quite apropos considering the state of the Republican party and the positions my Senator has taken as of late. Kelly Ayotte used the voters to get what she wanted and now that she has been seduced by the establishment she cares not about how the voters who sent her to Washington feel. She is a fair weather friend and unfortunately I have to wait until 2016 to bid Senator Ayotte farewell for good so this will have to do for now.

Yesterday America’s Watchtower covered this story about an unnamed park ranger who claimed he and his companions were under orders from above to make the government shutdown as painful as possible on the American people.
While the source is unnamed I happen to believe this is the strategy of the Obama regime for it is the same strategy used when the sequester cuts first went into effect, there is a history here; the Obama regime is willing to hurt the American people in order to push forward his agenda.
This is exactly what I believe he is doing during the government shutdown as well. Barack Obama is needlessly shutting down war memorials and national parks in an effort to win sympathy with the American people. Here is a list of things which have been shut down for no other reason than the vindictiveness of the president. What other word can you use to describe a regime which actually tried to shut down the ocean?
But this list is not complete for it left off the fact that the Obama regime has shut down the road leading to the Iwo Jima memorial. Read more…
Park ranger claims they were told to make the shutdown as painful as possible on the American people
Many of us have been of the belief that the Democrats’ plan during the shutdown was to make it as painful as possible on the American people in order to turn people against the Republicans in the House.
Now a Washington park ranger has confirmed this opinion, here is what he had to say:
“We’ve been told to make life as difficult for people as we can. It’s disgusting.”
I admit that this is an unnamed source and we do not know how reputable this man is, but all it takes is one look at what is going on to realize this is the truth. What was that adage the Democrats used to use in these situations? Oh yeah, it is the seriousness of the charge and not the validity of the claim.
Shots fired NEAR the White House, not AT the White House
This headline was splashed all across the internet this afternoon: Shots fired at the White House.
The implication was clear, the media was trying to give people the impression that someone fired shots toward the White House–probably a teabagger angry with the healthcare law. Wasn’t that the first impression you had when seeing the headlines for the first time? That is the impression I got, but that is not the case for it turns out that the woman who was eventually killed by police didn’t even have a firearm. There were shots fired near, not at, the White House and those shots were fired by the police, not by the woman who rammed the White House barricade before leading the police on a chase.
The headlines have since been corrected but not before the New York Times tried to tie the incident to the government shutdown in a Tweet. The politicization of this issue has begun and now the disgraced Charlie Rangel is blaming Republicans for what happened today in the nation’s capitol, here is what he had to say: Read more…
Harry Reid refuses to fund veteran programs
Yesterday the Democrats and the mainstream media tried to use sick children as political pawns by claiming that because Republicans refused to fund the government children with cancer were not able to get their treatments.
But when Republicans passed a resolution to fund the NIH Harry Reid refused to do so. When asked by a reporter why he wouldn’t vote to help even one child with cancer he responded by saying “why would we want to do that?” He put politics ahead of the children which is precisely what he is claiming the Republicans are doing.
He also attacked the House Republicans for trying to fund the more critical parts of the Federal government one piece of legislation at a time by asking “what gives them the right” to do this? Mr. Reid apparently does not know that the Constitution is what gives the House of Representatives the power to do what they are attempting to do. Or, he does know and he either does not care or he thinks most people do not know this.

I have been working my way through John Locke’s ‘Second Treatise of Government’ in between working, blogging, and living a normal life and this morning before heading off to work I read a passage which I found to be quite interesting considering the political climate today.
John Locke was a philosopher held in high regard by the Founding Fathers who felt that government operated at the consent of the governed. Sound familiar? It ought to for Thomas Jefferson drew upon the writings of John Locke when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. What Thomas Jefferson wrote at that time was not new philosophy, but rather a reaffirmation of natural rights as laid out by John Locke and others who came before Thomas Jefferson.
Because John Locke believed that a society created a government by its own will and consent to carry out the will and protection of the people in that society he also believed the people had the right to change the government when it was no longer conducive or sympathetic to the will of the people. Again, this should sound familiar.
Time to meet demagoguery with demagoguery: The Democrats and the mainstream media are nothing but demagogues, and we saw a perfect example of this when they tried to claim that because of the “Republican” shutdown there would be no funding for children’s cancer research. Once again the Democrats trotted out children’s issues and used them for pawns in their political game in order to cast the Republicans in the wrong on this issue.
The problem is the little fact that the House actually sent over a funding bill for the NIH which was rejected by Harry Reid, so it turns out that the Democrats’ all or nothing position is what is actually holding up the funding for this research.
Harry Reid was pressed on this issue by Dana Bash and, as he is not used to being pressed on an issue by the mainstream media, in the heat of the moment he said something quite revealing.

Gunrunner: A Federal judge rules against Eric Holder on his attempt to keep the Fast and Furious documents sealed
Since June 20th of 2012, the day Barack Obama sealed the Fast and Furious records using Executive Privilege after Eric Holder begged him to do so, there has been very little to report on the Fast and Furious scandal. This, of course, is why Barack Obama sealed the records in the first place, but that might be about to change with this news today.
After Barack Obama sealed the records Darrell Issa and his Oversight Committee filed a lawsuit to get those documents released. Eric Holder and the Department of Injustice naturally moved to have the lawsuit dismissed and today that request was denied by a Federal judge: Read more…
