Benghazi: Does Barack Obama consider this terrorist attack to be another case of “workplace violence?”
Earlier this morning I read this story from ABC News about yesterday’s press conference and the possibility that Barack Obama might have violated the law by even mentioning that there was a sealed indictment for those whom the regime feels are responsible for the terrorist attack in Benghazi which left Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith dead.
While I am no lawyer I find it hard to believe that simply mentioning the fact that there is a sealed indictment, without disclosing what is in that indictment, is against the law. It seems to me we routinely learn about sealed indictments before they are opened but I could be wrong. And anyway, because Barack Obama and his wife once held law licenses, before they mysteriously gave them up for unknown reasons, we have to assume that the president would know if it was against the law to mention the sealed indictment. (Unless of course he wanted the indictment to be thrown out on a technicality.)
But that is not what I wanted to write about when I saved this article to revisit in tonight’s post. I wanted to write about a paragraph in the article which stated that the indictment is indicative of the fact that the Obama regime intends to pursue the case as a criminal case in civilian court rather than prosecuting those responsible as terrorists who committed an act of war against the United States.
The problem is that when I sat down to write about this and I reread the article this paragraph was not there. So either I read this somewhere else, ABC edited the original article, or I am going crazy.
Obamacare: Some hospitals could be punished for treating uninsured poor people for free
In addition to punishing people who might not be able to afford healthcare coverage under Obamacare a new rule has been written which could be used to punish some hospitals which provide free services to the people who do not have healthcare insurance. (Don’t you love how new rules are still being written, proving once and for all that all those who voted for this law had no idea what the final version of the law would be at the time they voted for it?)
Charitable hospitals that treat uninsured Americans will be subjected to new levels of scrutiny of their nonprofit status and could face sizable new fines under Obamacare.
A new provision in Section 501 of the Internal Revenue Code, which takes effect under Obamacare, sets new standards of review and installs new financial penalties for tax-exempt charitable hospitals, which devote a minimum amount of their expenses to treat uninsured poor people. Approximately 60 percent of American hospitals are currently nonprofit.
“It requires tax-exempt hospitals to do a community needs survey and file additional paperwork with the IRS every three years. This is to prove that the charitable hospital is still needed in their geographical area — ‘needed’ as defined by Obamacare and overseen by IRS bureaucrats,” said John Kartch, spokesman for Americans for Tax Reform.
“Failure to comply, or to prove this continuing need, could result in the loss of the hospital’s tax-exempt status. The hospital would then become a for-profit venture, paying income tax — hence the positive revenue score” for the federal government, Kartch said. “Obamacare advocates turned over every rock to find as much tax money as possible.”
There’s that pesky IRS again! If you are a non-profit hospital providing free healthcare benefits to the poor you will face additional scrutiny (ask the conservative organizations what that means) and if it is determined that you do too much for the poor you can rest assured that the IRS will determine you are not needed in that community and will start taxing you.
The IRS is still targeting conservative groups
Well, I wanted to take a couple of days off in order to recharge the batteries but every time I try to take a step back I get sucked right back into the fray. They just keep coming at us and there is no way I could ignore this story.
David Camp, House Ways and Means Committee Chairman, released the testimony of an IRS agent and during his testimony he admitted nothing has changed in regards to the targeting of Conservative groups. Read more…
Skillet performing ‘Hero’ live at Soulfest 2013
As I sat down at the computer to write about the issues of the day I quickly realized that the fight was not in me, I cannot do it tonight. I am drained and I need a break of at least one night–maybe two or three–to recharge the batteries. It happens from time to time so fear not faithful readers, I will be back, and I think that the bloggers out there realize and understand what I am going through but I still wanted to post something. It is hard to explain but I actually feel guilty when I do not post anything, I do not want to let anyone down so here goes.
For the last three or four years my wife, Lauri, and my two sons, Andy and Tim, have been going to Soulfest but I have not attended. For those of you who do not know, Soulfest is a Christian Rock festival which takes place once a year in the Lakes Region in New Hampshire, and it lasts for four days. There are many bands performing over the course of the event, and with the exception of last year, Skillet is always the main attraction. Every year I hear reviews of the bands from Lauri, Andy, and Tim and I hear about the great show that Skillet puts on.
Benghazi: John Boehner is suppressing information on the attack to hide his involvement
Democratic pollster Patt Caddell appeared on Fox News and during this interview he made the claim that John Boehner is purposely trying to suppress information about the attack which left Chris Stevens, Tyrone Woods, Glen Doherty, and Sean Smith dead in order to hide the fact that he knew all along the CIA was running guns captured in Libya into Syria:
We have John Boehner, who has been purposely suppressing anything about Benghazi because he knew what we found out this week. And he approved it
I understand that many conservatives will try to discredit this claim by stating that Caddell is a Democrat operative and is simply trying to spread the blame around, but I happen to believe him in this instance.
Conveniently for Barack Obama, during the renewed interest after the new revelations reported by CNN about the Benghazi terrorist attack nearly one year ago, he announced there was credible chatter that Al Qaeda was prepared to launch a major attack and issued a worldwide travel advisory while shutting down our embassies in the Middle East.
As you can probably tell, I am quite skeptical of this warning because the timing is just too convenient for the president. This, in my opinion, is a false flag designed and intended to make it look as if Barack Obama is proactive in the war on terror just as his credibility on the issue was beginning to be called into question by the mainstream media.
But, for the sake of this post, let us assume this is credible intelligence and an Al Qaeda attack which might rival 9/11 is imminent. Of course, in order to do this we have to forget about the fact that Al Qaeda was behind the terrorist attack in Benghazi last September 11th, but I digress…..
Afterburner with Bill Whittle: Sarah Palin was Right
Bill Whittle has done it again! In the newest ‘Afterburner’ video Bill Whittle brilliantly uses Howard Dean’s words from a couple of weeks ago to obliterate the fallacy of Obamacare and what Sarah Palin once called the ‘Death Panels.’
He also exposes the hypocrisy of the Congress for getting Barack Obama to exempt them from the law they forced on the American people, and the uber hypocrisy of the IRS lobbying to exempt itself from the law while at the same time being charged with enforcing the law on the average American person.
As always, this is a must see:

How many times have I written an article over the years about Barack Obama ruling by dictate and proclamation, as would a king, by using Executive Order and governmental agencies to thwart the Congress? Too many times to count.
But then last week, when John Boehner and Harry Reid went to Barack Obama and begged him to do something to exempt them from the laws they have thrust upon their subjects, and he did, we found out beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are really only two classes left in America–the ruling class and the subjects. The King and his Parliament, and the serfs.
So I would like to dedicate this week’s musical selection to King Obama, the King’s Hand Joe Biden, and the Royal Jester John Boehner. It is a brand new metal song by the band Avenged Sevenfold entitled ‘Hail to the King.’
Watch your tongue I’ll have it cut from your head
Save your life by keeping whispers unsaid
Children roam the streets now orphans of war
Bodies hanging in the streets to adore
Royal flames will carve a path in chaos
Bringing daylight to the night
Death is riding in the town with armor
They’ve come to take all your rights
Hail to the King
Hail to the One
Kneel to the crown
Stand in the sun
Hail to the King
While talking about the ‘Inclusive Prosperity Act’ (the name alone sends shivers down my spine and sounds like it came straight from Atlas Shrugged) Representative Keith Ellison said the following:
The bottom line is we’re not broke, there’s plenty of money, it’s just the government doesn’t have it
What he meant by this was; the government doesn’t have it…..yet. He clarified that point next:
“The government has a right, the government and the people of the United States have a right to run the programs of the United States. Health, welfare, housing – all these things”
Notice how he started to say the ‘government’ has the right before switching it to the ‘government and the people’ have a right? He caught himself revealing how he (and most of the ruling class) really felt and quickly corrected himself–it was too late, however.
This one clip shows us exactly what is wrong in Washington DC. The ruling class elite believe the Constitution grants the government rights and because of this we have a duty and an obligation (he uses those words as the clip continues, you can check it out by following the link above) to fund whatever the government feels should be funded.
He, and the others like him, lament the fact that there is money out there that the government cannot get its greedy little hands on and he intends to do something about it. The Democrats seem to have this mentality that all money should flow into the government to be dispersed to the people as they see fit, and we are not trustworthy enough to spend our money properly therefore they will spend it for us.
This, of course, is a denial by Mr. Ellison that there is any spending problem in Washington and with this type of attitude pervasive on the Democratic side of the aisle it will be impossible to ever get the situation under control. According to people like Mr. Ellison there is no problem that cannot be solved with a confiscation of more funds.
