Barack Obama says the United States will not take sides in Egypt, Rand Paul responds
Today Barack Obama took a few short minutes out of his busy vacation schedule to condemn the recent violence in Egypt. During this time he declared that “America cannot determine the future of Egypt, that’s a task for the Egyptian people.” he then went on to say “we don’t take sides.”
Really? Forgive me if I am wrong because this Arab Spring, the revolution which was supposed to usher in democracy all across the Middle East, began two years ago, but didn’t Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton already take sides in this struggle?
John Kerry says the internet makes it harder to govern
Yesterday at the U.S. Embassy in Brazil John Kerry said the following:
I’m a student of history, and I love to go back and read a particularly great book like [Henry] Kissinger’s book about diplomacy where you think about the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries and the balance of power and how difficult it was for countries to advance their interests and years and years of wars,” Kerry said to a gathering of State Department employees and their families.

Obamacare: NBC reports that businesses, unions, and colleges admit hours are being cut because of Obamacare, the White House denies
America’s Watchtower, and great bloggers such as Matt at Conservative Hideout, have been writing for months about a growing trend in several industries due to Obamacare, and that trend is the cutting of workers’ hours to under 30 in order to avoid the now delayed employer healthcare mandate.
Without trying to inflate our own importance, we in the blogosphere like to feel as if we are covering an issue the mainstream media has been avoiding. But with the recent news on Obamacare, such as the delay in the employer mandate, the Congress asking the president to exempt Federal employees from the law, and the delay of the out-of-pocket caps, the debacle known as Obamacare has reached such critical mass that the mainstream media has been forced to start covering this issue.
I know that for all intents and purposes the Fast and Furious investigation came to an end when Eric Holder ran to Barack Obama and begged him to seal the documents which I believe would have implicated him in this scandal, but I still wanted to take a brief moment to share with you the latest news, for whatever it is worth at this point.
Eric Holder once said that weapons linked to Fast and Furious would continue to be recovered violent crime scenes and this is the one time during his testimony that he actually told the truth. Three more weapons linked to Fast and Furious were recovered at a crime scene in Mexico. Way to go Eric Holder, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, and Janet Napolitano. You are all leaving yourselves quite a legacy.
The good news is that there are now three less Obama regime trafficked guns out there, the bad news is there are still 1,400 weapons unaccounted for. You all must be proud of yourselves.
It has been a rough couple of days for Lois Lerner. First she was caught on video from 2009 admitting that she was facing political pressure to correct what some people in the Federal government felt was an error by the Supreme Court in the Citizen’s United Case, which was just before the IRS began targeting conservative groups, and now she has been caught emailing official government documents to her personal email account.

Obamacare is beginning to collapse under its own weight. First the Obama regime was forced to delay the employer mandate for one year while leaving the individual mandate in place. And then the Congress finally read the bill and found out many Federal employees would have to join the Obamacare exchanges so they demanded and received an exemption.
The interesting point about this, which I have not heard made anywhere else, is that the same people who complained that Barack Obama did not have the authority to delay the employer mandate without going through the Congress are many of the same people who then ran to Barack Obama and begged for him to unilaterally declare them exempt from the law without going through the Congress. Hypocrites, all of them!
Today we learned that yet another part of Obamacare has been delayed until (coincidentally?) after the 2014 election, that being the mandatory caps on out-of-pocket expenses.
Sequester: Barack Obama threatens our veterans with a loss of benefits, yet his dog flies separately to Martha’s Vineyard
It was plastered all over the internet and on Facebook today: While the Obama’s arrived in Martha’s Vineyard the other day for yet another vacation, their dog arrived separately today on a plane via taxpayer dollar.
I only write about this because it was just the other night that Barack Obama addressed a group of veterans and told them the sequester threatened their benefits:
It’s hurting our military. I made it clear that your veteran’s benefits are exempt from this year’s sequester,” the president said to the applause of hundreds at the Disabled American Veterans’ convention in Orlando, Fla. “But I want to tell you going forward the best way to protect the VA care you have earned is to get rid of this sequester altogether
While attempting to scare our heroes into pressuring Congressional Republicans to cave in and reverse the sequester cuts he failed to mention two small details about the sequester: One, it was his idea in the first place; and two, he has the final say on what gets cut and what does not. (A third point would be that there are no actual cuts, but only a reduction in future spending.)
Barack Obama is tasked with prioritizing where the money is spent and where the money is cut. It is clear that he finds it a higher priority to take care of his dog than he does at taking care of our veterans.
We all remember when Lois Lerner sat in front of the Congress to address the IRS targeting scandal and we all remember her pleading the fifth while stating she did nothing wrong. While pleading the fifth was her right, and I do not deny her of her Constitutional rights, this left us believing there was much more to this story that she was hiding.
Now we just might know what she was hiding: She has been caught on tape from 2010 talking about the “political pressure” the IRS was facing about doing something about the Supreme Court’s Citizens United case. Read more…
Benghazi: Whistleblower claims 400 missiles were stolen in Libya
Back in May I wrote a post about the possibility that Hillary Clinton was selling weapons, including missiles, to the Syrian rebels and once it became know that the rebels were actually Al Qaeda (something that many of us assumed all along) Chris Stevens was dispatched to the scene where he ultimately met his rape and death to buy back these missiles.
This revelation came via an attorney for a whistleblower whose lawyer still has not gained the proper credentials to hear the details of the case so he has been unable to testify. I think we all know the reason why!
