I just finished a post about the attack on the United States embassy in Libya on the anniversary of September 11th, and about new evidence which shows the Obama regime knew an attack was imminent and did nothing to protect our diplomats, and lo and behold the news gets even worse for Dear Leader.
As if it weren’t bad enough that Libyan security forces are now claiming they warned the Obama regime an attack was coming three days before it happened, we are now learning the the Obama regime thought the situation on the ground in Libya was so perilous they issued a travel warning to Americans two weeks before the attacks on the embassy in Libya.

Libyan officials claim they gave the United States three days warning an attack was coming at the embassy
Barack Obama’s narrative about the attack on the United States embassy in Libya being a spontaneous protest fueled by an anti-Islamic video is beginning to crumble at his feet.
First came news that the United States was warned the day before the attacks that something was imminent, then came news the United States actually had two days notice an attack was coming which was followed by the news that an intelligence source on the ground in Libya provided information which proved these attacks were well coordinated and not the offspring of a protest against an obscure You Tube video.
And now today comes news that Libya security forces are claiming they gave the United States government three days notice an attack was coming, and yet our government still claims they didn’t have actionable intelligence?

Intelligence source in Libya contradicts Barack Obama narrative about the embassy attack
Barack Obama has maintained the position that the attacks on the United States embassies in the Middle East grew out of a spontaneous peaceful protest against a You Tube video, going so far as to send the Ambassador to the UN, Susan Rice, out to push this false narrative in order to shield himself and his failed policies from the death of Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
This is part of what she had to say:
Ms. Rice said on ABC that the assault on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi Tuesday started with a “small number of people” seeking to replicate a violent protest that had broken out in Cairo. “And then as that unfolded, it seems to have been hijacked, let us say, by some individual clusters of extremists who came with heavier weapons, weapons that … in the wake of the revolution in Libya … are quite common and accessible,” she said. “And it then evolved from there.”
The official Obama regime account of how the events in Libya unfolded has been contradicted by Libya president, Mohammed el-Megarif, who called the account unfounded and preposterous:
The idea that this criminal and cowardly act was a spontaneous protest that just spun out of control is completely unfounded and preposterous,” Libyan President Mohammed el-Megarif told the liberal National Public Radio network.
Instead, the killing was a military-style attack, he said.
Libya’s president claims the attack on the embassy was planned for months by al Qaeda
Despite the narrative being pushed by the Obama regime–and promoted by the unquestioning propaganda arm of the Obama regime otherwise known as the mainstream media–that the attack on the United States embassy in Libya was not planned and was the fault of an irresponsible American who exercised his right to free speech Libya’s president feels otherwise.
Mohamed Yousef El-Magariaf believes the attacks were planned long in advance by al Qaeda and the target date was always September 11th:
The way these perpetrators acted and moved — I think we, and they’re choosing the specific date for this so-called demonstration, I think we have no, this leaves us with no doubt that this was pre-planned, determined,” Magariaf said on CBS’s “Face the Nation.”
“And you believe that this was the work of Al Qaeda, and you believe that it was led by foreigners. Is that what you’re telling us?” CBS host Bob Schieffer asked.
“It was planned, definitely. It was planned by foreigners, by people who entered the country a few months ago. And they were planning this criminal act since their arrival,” Magariaf said.
The Arab Spring–which was supported both in spirit and with bombs by Barack Obama–destabilized the region, and while nobody is upset with the fate met by Mommar Qaddafi, the power void left during the uprising apparently gave al Qaeda the chance they needed to slip into Libya and begin planning this attack.
Barack Obama and the mainstream media can blame this American film maker all they want to but it seems to me that Barack Obama’s policies are more to blame than any obscure You Tube video.
Muslim teen “radicalized through the internet” tries to plant a car bomb in Chicago
On the eleventh anniversary of September 11th al Qaeda attacked the United States embassy in Libya and killed four Americans, including Ambassador Chris Stevens. This was a terrorist attack and was not simply a protest to an obscure You Tube video that nobody had seen.
Then on September 14th–last Friday–Adel Daoud was arrested in Chicago (Why is so much unrest happening in Chicago right now, is it a coincidence?) for attempting to plant a car bomb and blow up a local bar.

Here is the open thread for Saturday, September 15th. Feel free to post links to interesting articles and discuss whatever issues arise throughout the day.
I have a couple of little site announcements to make today: First; my wife and I are taking a weekend vacation to Weirs Beach to celebrate our wedding anniversary so I will not be posting or answering comments until Monday. Second; I have a new commitment on Thursday evenings (at least for the time being, it may become permanent) which will make it almost impossible for me to post on Thursdays, so I will be changing the days of the open threads to Thursdays and Sundays. The next open thread will not be until next Thursday.
As I travel through the southern portion of New Hampshire on a daily basis I decided to conduct an unofficial lawn sign poll, here are the results so far:
Mitt Romney: 20 plus lawn signs
Gary Johnson: 6 lawn signs
Barack Obama: 2 lawn signs, but this comes with a caveat. One of these lawn signs has been proudly displayed since 2008 and decorated with two small American flags, one on each side. It has been well taken care of for years. So technically Barack Obama has only one lawn sign which can be attributed to this election cycle.
I am hoping that this is a sign of things to come in New Hampshire when the election rolls around in November.
On a totally unrelated note I have decided to include two musical selections from Iggy Pop; ‘Five Foot One,’ and ‘The Passenger.’

White House denies the Middle East uprising is an anti-American protest, asks You Tube to take down the video
As the anti-American uprisings continue to spread throughout the Middle East the White House is still maintaining the false narrative that this coordinated and planned attack scheduled on the anniversary of September 11th is not an anti-American protest, but a protest against a video that nobody had ever heard of with the date being purely coincidental.
This is what Jay Carney had to say today:
Jake, let’s be clear, these protests were in reaction to a video that had spread to the region…it’s not a reaction to 9/11 or US policy.
Is anybody still buying this line at this point? This is almost as laughable as the narrative Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama tried to sell to the American people that the protesters were in fact trying to rescue Chris Stevens and bring him to the hospital and were not actually dragging his dead body through the streets.
Report: The United States had credible information an attack was imminent in Libya and Egypt and did nothing to protect our diplomats
On September 11th, 2012 the United States embassies in Libya and Egypt were attacked and four American diplomats–including our ambassador to Libya–were murdered. At first we were told that these protests were over an anti-Islamic movie that nobody had ever heard of and that the date of the attacks was purely coincidental. The movie was then downgraded to a You Tube video which very few people had seen. This whole story seemed as if it were a cover up meant to downplay the magnitude of the protests attacks. Meanwhile the United States apologized to the attackers and accused an American of abusing his first amendment rights by making Muslims feel bad.
The original narrative began to fall apart soon thereafter when it became apparent that the attack on Libya was well coordinated and planned as a response to the killing of Abu Yahya al-Libi in a drone attack back in June of this year, and for a drone attack which recently killed Mohammed Hassan Qaed, and furthermore the United States was warned the day before that an attack was coming for revenge and still the embassies were left unprotected.
It seems evident to me that if these attacks were coordinated and planned in retaliation for the killing of two al Qaeda leaders that the date of these attacks was also planned and not simply the coincidence the Obama regime would have us believe.
One day isn’t allot of time to prepare against an attack, I will concede that point here but when you take into account the date you have to wonder why the Obama regime was caught unprepared and didn’t automatically send protection into the region even if there were no warning signs beforehand. We should have been prepared for this and we were not.

Marines at the US embassy in Egypt are not allowed to have live ammo
We have already learned that the embassy in Libya where four Americans were murdered was left unprotected even though there was a previous threat of violence, now we are learning that the Marines stationed at the embassies in Egypt are forbidden to carry live ammo thereby making it impossible for them to protect the embassy in the event of a coordinated attack such as the one that just happened in Libya.
Apparently, if true, this order came from Anne Patterson and it is a stunning dereliction of duty in my humble opinion. It appears we have learned nothing from the terrorist attack workplace violence incident at Fort Hood–where soldiers were not allowed to carry weapons–or from Fast and Furious–where Brian Terry was sent into an ambush armed with only a beanbag gun.
I suppose with the Department of Homeland Security, the National Weather Service, and the Social Security Administration combined buying billions of rounds of hollow point bullets in preparation from some incident which might occur at home there simply wasn’t enough left to give to our Marines to protect our diplomats when they travel abroad.
Despite warnings the embassies in Libya and Egypt were unprotected leading up to the September 11th attacks
On the eleventh anniversary of the terrorist attacks on September 11th two US embassies were attacked in the Middle East–one in Libya and one in Egypt–by Islamist extremists which resulted in the deaths of four American citizens.
It had been reported that these extremists were upset with an anti-Islam movie made in America but it is beginning to look like this was a front for a coordinated attack in retaliation for the United States’ killing of Abu Yahya al-Libi in a drone attack back in June.
