MSNBC host uses racial slur to describe the Romney campaign
While in front of a mostly black crowd earlier this week Joe Biden evoked the memory of slavery in an attempt to scare black voters into voting for Barack Obama when he stated that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan wanted to put “y’all back in chains.” Clearly a racially insensitive remark and despite the spin put on the comment by Barack Obama this was not simply a gaffe or “Joe being Joe,” this was a deliberate attempt to paint the Romney ticket as racist.
Needless to say, Mitt Romney was offended by this characterization and he fought back by telling Barack Obama to take his “campaign of division and anger and hate back to Chicago.”
MSNBC host Touré took exception to Mitt Romney’s rebuke of Barack Obama, and this is what he had to say: Read more…
Open thread for Thursday August 16th
No theme today, just a place to leave links to interesting articles and have a discussion. Yesterday’s open thread was slow, let’s see if it picks back up today.
On a side note, when I find interesting articles during the day I usually Tweet them, many times these articles are not something I am going to write about at night so this is another way to spread information. My five latest Tweets can be found over on the right hand side of the blog and usually they contain links to articles, although they do not always, as well as links to other blog posts that I think others would enjoy reading. Check these articles out if you get a chance.
Have a great day everyone!
New Black Panthers leader talks about creating a military to kill babies and skin white people
Have you wondered what King Samir Shabazz has been up to since Eric Holder and the Department of Injustice decided against pursuing charges against him for voter intimidation in 2008?
If you have, the answer can be found here. I cannot post the audio here, but please follow the link and listen to what King Samir Shabazz had to say on an internet radio broadcast.
King Samir Shabazz is now a leader in the New Black Panthers and in this video he advocates creating a military to be used to kill crackers and skin them alive. He talks about planting bombs in nurseries in order to kill “all that is white in sight,” and he seems to think it would be justice for black people to kill white babies.
Eric Holder has already let this man walk free when he was caught on video intimidating white voters in 2008 and he now appears ready to take the next step. Even if this is only rhetoric and he has no intention of carrying something like this out himself there is the possibility that someone will hear his words and decide to carry out what he is advocating.
This man has now made public threats of extreme violence and yet we haven’t heard a whisper from the Department of Injustice or the DHS, and Barack Obama hasn’t said a word about it. Inaction from the Injustice Department is equivalent to condoning these words and if someone does act because of these words the Injustice Department will have more blood on its hands than it already does.
How can it be possible that a man can make such threats and not draw the attention of the federal government? In their silence we can only assume they condone it.
Mitt Romney hammers Barack Obama over Joe Biden’s racist coment
Yesterday while speaking in front of a mostly black audience Joe Biden informed the gathering that Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan wanted to “put y’all back in chains.” When asked if the president would distance himself from Joe Biden’s comment the White House stated they fully supported the sentiment and refused to back away.
One of the worries many of us had about Mitt Romney was a perceived lack of toughness and the possibility that he would not go after Barack Obama as hard as he needed to, ala John McCain. However, when the Obama regime started floating the possibility that Mitt Romney was a felon and a tax cheat without any proof Mitt Romney rightfully took offense and came out swinging.
Joe Biden’s outrageous reference to slavery in front of a mostly black audience, and his assertion that Republicans would like a return to slavery was another time where a hard line response was needed by Mitt Romney, he could not let these charges go unchallenged, and last night he came out swinging hard.
This is what he had to say: Read more…
When Barack Obama acted on his own and decreed new immigration policy which included a version of the DREAM Act by Executive Order we were under the assumption that this was for people who were brought to this country illegally as children by their parents, completed highschool, and went to college or joined the military. We were told these were the conditions needed to be eligible for a person to be rewarded for having illegally entered the country.
We soon found out however that a person didn’t need to prove he or she met DREAM Act requirements in order to stay here, the person simply had to say they met the requirements and the person would be let go based solely on his or her word and without any proof.
Today is the first day the Obama regime is accepting DREAM Act applications and the news has gotten even worse still because according to this article a person doesn’t even need to meet those standards. Read more…
Here is the open thread for today, it looks like it might be an eventful day as I already have three stories I would like to get to tonight: What have the New Black Panthers been up to since Eric Holder refused to press charges, Mitt Romney’s response to Joe Biden’s racist comment, and the DREAM Act has been expanded. No guarantee I will get to all of this tonight, especially if anything else pops up today, but I will try.
As always, links and discussion are both welcomed here on any topic. I have decided to give you another video by the band Muse, this one is a 1984 themed song entitled “United States of Eurasia” as performed live on Later with Jools Holland in 2009. Enjoy.
Apparently taking a cue from Patrick Murphy, the Democrats decided to continue their racist, hate filled campaign when speaking at a campaign event earlier today Joe Biden slipped into his best southern drawl and declared of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan that the duo would “put y’all back in chains” if they won the election.
Clearly a racially insensitive and highly inappropriate comment to make during a presidential election and needless to say the Romney camp called on Joe Biden to apologize for his despicable comment.
The comments made by the vice president of the United States are not acceptable in our political discourse and demonstrate yet again that the Obama campaign will say and do anything to win this election,” Saul said in a statement released by the campaign. ”President Obama should tell the American people whether he agrees with Joe Biden’s comments
The Romney camp got its answer on whether or not Barack Obama agreed with Joe Biden: Read more…
Open thread for Tuesday August 14th: Uprising edition
Yesterday’s open thread maiden voyage seemed to be pretty successful, so I have decided to keep posting open threads in the morning as long as people are interested.
I have decided to give this one a theme; this is the Uprising edition of the new open thread series and I have included a video of what I think should be our anthem heading into the November election in order to get you pumped up and ready as we head into the battle ahead of us.
I give you Muse performing Uprising live at the Roskilde Festival in 2010. (And for all you New World Order conspiracy buffs, note the 1:52 mark in the video.)
Bring on the links and the discussion!
The other day I wrote this post about a racist campaign ad which was released by Democrats that depicted Allen West–gold tooth and all–in a boxing ring beating up white women and stealing money.
Even though the NAACP stated there was nothing racially motivated about this attack ad Allen West saw if for what it was:
I spent my life in uniform fighting for our great nation and protecting all Americans. The ad being run against me by my opponent’s family depicting violence against women and senior citizens is reprehensible. It plays on stereotypes and fear to divide Americans, and it cheapens the very real and tragic occurrences of violence against women and seniors. The American people are suffering from crushing debt, horrific tax and regulatory policies, and epic unemployment. This classless ad shows a lack of regard for the issues plaguing our nation. This ad reflects the sad state of politics in our Republic with those who seek to destroy a person’s character to cover for their lack of intellectual ability and integrity.
And today he has released an ad hitting back at Patrick Murphy for this despicable attack while highlighting the fact that it is Obamacare which actually cut $700 billion from Medicare. The ad is very good and here it is:
The big news of the last few days–and rightfully so–is Mitt Romney naming Paul Ryan as his running mate, but lost in all that hoopla was a report that Darrell Issa was going to sue Eric Holder in civil court to force the release of documents related to Fast and Furious.
Today we found at that report was true: The House has filed a 41 page civil lawsuit against the Injustice Department asking the court to order the release of long sought after documents which might show us the breadth of the Fast and Furious cover up as well as what role Eric Holder and Barack Obama may have played in not only the cover up but the scandal as well.
