Today President Obama signed an executive order to close GITMO even though he has no idea what the hell he is going to do with all of the terrorists that the United States is holding there. I suggest that he takes John Murtha up on his offer and send them to Pennsylvania.
As disturbing as that issue is there is another aspect to this that I find as disturbing. President Obama, dear leader, has also suspended the trials of five co-conspirators of the September 11th attacks, including the mastermind Khalid Sheik Mohammed.
These men do not have the rights guaranteed under the United States constitution, they are enemies of the United States. The United States constitution apples to American citizens, it isn’t a hard concept to understand.
While President Obama is thinking about what to do with the jailed terrorists and we learn that his sympathies lie with the well being of those evil men and how we are perceived as treating the enemies of the United States, it might do President Obama well to think about one other thing.
If it wasn’t for average American citizens on September 11th, the heroes of Flight 93, there is a good chance that that plane would have hit the White House. Just think about that Mr. President while your cute little girls are dancing and playing in your new home. Where do your loyalties lie, with the perception around the world of America or with the citizens of this country, including your little girls?
What is the difference between Caroline Kennedy and Timothy Geithner? That is the question that first came to my mind after I heard the reasons why Caroline Kennedy withdrew her name from consideration of Hillary Clinton’s senate seat.
Timothy Geithner was approved today as Secretary of the Treasury and will be in charge of the IRS even though he is a known tax evader. He also had an issue with hiring an illegal alien.
Caroline Kennedy withdrew her name from consideration for a senate seat for tax and nanny related issues.
Both people had basically the same issues yet one has become a rather influential member of President Obama’s cabinet and the other has been banished from a senate seat. Timothy Geithner claims he made an honest mistake while Caroline Kennedy claims that she made an innocent mistake.
Surely a simple tax problem can’t disqualify a person from holding a senate seat. After all her uncle drove a woman into a lake while he was drunk and instead of helping her he went home to sleep it off while she slowly drowned afraid and alone. Once sober the next morning he called the police but it was much too late to save his secret lover. And he wasn’t disqualified to hold a senate seat.
So what is the difference between Caroline Kennedy and Timothy Geithner? Why shouldn’t Caroline Kennedy be allowed to serve on the senate, at least she didn’t kill anybody.
Joint Tax Committee Member Admits He Doesn’t Know if Obama’s Stimulus Package Will Create Jobs
This is just great, when a member of the Joint Tax Committee is pressed on estimating how many jobs dear leader’s stimulus package will create he admits he has no idea if it will create any jobs.
Congress is about to approve a $1 trillion dollars stimulus bill that dear leader says will create or save 3 million jobs and the Joint Tax Committee admits that President Obama doesn’t have the fact to back up his claims.
Court Rules That a Moment of Silence is Unconstitutional
According to this article a federal judge has ruled that it is unconstitutional for a state to require a moment of silence in public schools. The judge ruled that this is a violation of church and state.
The statute is a subtle effort to force students at impressionable ages to contemplate religion,” U.S. District Judge Robert W. Gettleman said in his ruling Wednesday.
The argument that was used is that by having a moment of silence you are tricking children into praying. The law gives the children permission to think about whatever they want during the silence, like they wouldn’t anyway, and therefor proponents of the measure claimed that no religion was being forced on the students.
As passed by the Illinois General Assembly, the law allows students to reflect on the day’s activities rather than pray if that is their choice and defenders have said it therefore doesn’t force religion on anyone.
For the sake of argument let’s just say that the children were praying during this moment of silence. Does this constitute a violation of the freedom of religion?
Before we make that determination we must look at what the first amendment says about the freedom of religion; Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.
According to the first part of the freedom of religion clause congress can make no law respecting an establishment of religion. Does a moment of silence violate this clause? The answer is no. The state isn’t telling the children which God they must pray to or even if they must pray. There is no violation here.
If anything the judge is in violation of the second part of the freedom of religion clause by prohibiting a child the free exercise of the child’s religion.
As for the violation of the constitution’s separation of church and state clause…..there is no clause or phrase in the constitution about the separation of church and state.
The term separation of church and state does not appear in the constitution, it appeared in a letter that Thomas Jefferson wrote to the Danbury Baptists in 1802.
It wasn’t until Everson v. Board of Education in 1947 that the separation of church and state was actually used in a supreme court case. Writing for the majority in a 5-4 decision ,Hugo Black in interpreting the constitution found what he considered his justification for his interpretation of the constitution by looking outside the constitution. He used Thomas Jefferson’s personal letter to the Danbury Baptists to justify his interpretation of the constitution instead of interpreting the constitution.
The fact is that a moment of silence before school starts is harmless, there is no nefarious plot to secretly indoctrinate the children into religion. A moment of silence before the school day starts does not represent a government sponsored religion.
These people need to lighten the hell up.
Timothy Geithner Apologizes For Not Paying His Taxes
Well, isn’t this nice? Timothy Geithner has apologized for his honest mistake of not realizing he was supposed to pay taxes for money he received from his employer even though he applied reimbursement for those same taxes.
These were careless mistakes, they were avoidable mistakes, but they were unintentional,” Geithner said. “I should have been more careful. I take full responsibility for them.
This man is lying his ass off, there is no way in hell that this was a mistake. HE WAS REIMBURSED FOR THE MONEY HE DIDN’T PAY, and he signed a form every quarter acknowledging that he had to pay.
Once he found out that he owed taxes he decided to …..pay half of them back. It wasn’t until he found out that he was going to be Secretary of the Treasury that he decided to pay back the rest of them.
Congress is going to say that the bad economy trumps Geithner’s honest mistakeand that he must be confirmed without delay so that he can save the country from financial collapse. Most men would go to jail, this man gets a cabinet post in President Obama’s administration.
By confirming Geithner as Treasury Secretary they will be putting a known tax cheat in charge of the IRS while another known tax cheat, Barney Frank, writes the tax laws. What’s the worse that could happen there?
Obama’s Inauguration Proves Racism in America Still Exists
I have written here several times in the past that I believed that America had gotten past the race issue. I have stated that Americans don’t judge people by the color of their skin any more, but I am now prepared to say that I was wrong. Racism is alive in America. And it reared it’s ugly head during Barack Obama’s inauguration.

We had to listen to a person hope that someday white Americans will embrace what is right. This man stood there as a black man was being sworn in as president of the United States of America and made it sound like today’s America is the America that southern Democrats during the Civil War and civil rights movement hoped it would become. But it didn’t, America rose above the racial hatred culminating in yesterday’s inauguration. Yet this reverend thinks that no progress has been made.
America has come a long way since those dark days and people like this minister, Reverend Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton want to treat America as if no progress was ever made, even as Barack Obama is sworn in.
America will never get past race as long as we have people like these who are influencing young Americans and filling their hearts with hate. I understand teaching children about the history of this country, including slavery and the civil rights movement but please don’t stand there and pretend that nothing has changed.
I Want President Obama to Fail
I want President Obama to fail- there I said it. I said it and I meant it. There is one issue that I do not want President Obama to fail on and that is keeping America safe. I hope that President Obama will take the threat of terrorism seriously. Like it or not, terrorism is a real issue, it isn’t just fear-mongering.
So with that stipulated, why in hell would I want President Obama to succeed? I don’t agree with him on any of the issues, President Obama is not just a left leaning politician he is the most far left leaning person ever to win the presidency. So why should I hope that President Obama is successful in implementing his far left ideology if I couldn’t disagree more with his positions? I want President Obama to fail to implement his agenda.
The left is now saying that it is time for us to rally around the new president and come together as a country but that wasn’t their message after these same American people elected George W Bush was it? And why should people who didn’t agree with the former president’s policies have been expected to hope that he implemented those policies? They shouldn’t have been and they didn’t, so don’t sit there in your ivory tower and tell me that I have to wish President Obama nothing but the best because your candidate won the election when you weren’t willing to do the same when my candidate won in 2004. Ater 2004 nobody that voted for John Kerry said “George Bush is my president too” or “I hope George Bush is successful” so don’t expect me to fall in line with President Obama’s agenda. What comes around goes around.
Dissent is patriotic, remember? Or have you forgotten that now that a man than you feel is correct is in power? I am the Patriotic Dissenter, if I feel President Obama’s policies are bad for America or just plain un-American socialist policies I will not fall in line. I will rise up and I will speak my voice.

1/20/09 Was an Inside Job
1/20/09 was an inside job, the fix was in. This president became president via a vast left wing conspiracy. The media’s conspiracy. There was no Pearl Harbor conspiracy, there was no Tonkin Gulf conspiracy, and there was no 9/11 conspiracy, but there was a 1/20/09 conspiracy. A conspiracy born in the media.
The media fell in love with President Obama shortly after Iowa, it was a gradual process as the media was initially reluctant to totally break away from it’s previous love, the Clinton’s. But there was something about then candidate Obama that the media just couldn’t resist.
Was it the way he spoke or his brilliant smile? Or maybe both. Was it the way that listening to Barack Obama speak sent a thrill up and down Chris Matthews leg? Barack Obama seemed to send that thrill up and down the legs of most of the mainstream media who finally did turn on Hillary Clinton.
Chris Matthews later went on to say that it was his job to make Barack Obama’s presidency successful, since when was that the job of the media? They certainly didn’t have that philosophy over the last eight years.
The media ignored stories about Barack Obama that would have brought down most candidates. Stories from Bill Ayers, to Reverend Wright, to bitter gun clinging Americans, to Obama promising Canada that he was lying to Americans about NAFTA, to talking to terrorist nations unconditionally, to Norman Hsu, to his birth certificate, to Tony Rezco, to his strict anti-second amendment positions, to his admission that his energy policies would raise energy prices on average Americans who can’t afford it, to him claiming that he will bankrupt the coal industry, to his aunt being an illegal alien and his brother living in a ten foot square box in Kenya, to claiming that Americans who don’t want to pay higher taxes are selfish, to his accepting untraceable campaign donations, to Obama threatening television stations that run ads he doesn’t like, to the truth squads, to an Obama founded organization donating money to the communist party, to “redistributing the wealth”, to Biden claiming that if Obama is elected there will be an international crisis, to his ties with ACORN, to …..well the list goes on and on. You get the point.
Meanwhile, once the media turned on Hillary and Bill all bets were off. While none of the above stories were considered noteworthy the media claimed the Clinton’s were racists prompting Bill Clinton, who during his presidency was called the first black president, to defend himself against racism charges. And there was the infamous “right wing hit job” perpetrated on Bill Clinton by the not so right wing Chris Wallace, it was a hit job but it wasn’t right wing.
The Clinton’s were said to be pimping out Chelsea Clinton on the campaign trail. There were stories that the Clinton’s were trying to intimidate voters during primary elections outside polling places. The fix was in.
The media, basking in the glow of the anointed one then turned their venom on the next target, McCain/Palin. John McCain was once a media darling while he was the maverickfucking over George Bush every chance that he got, but then he became the enemy. While the media never reported the Obama birth certificate story they did run stories about McCain not being eligible for the presidency because he was born in the Panama canal. The media ran false stories about McCain and a female staff worker, and I don’t even need to write about the lies that they told about Sarah Palin.
So the media played a huge role in electing the first ever American Idol president with what they covered, how they covered it, and what they didn’t cover. They painted Barack Obama into this mythical figure and the people bought into it. 01/20/09 was an inside job. The Democrat public relations arm otherwise known as the media did a masterful job.
Now the election is over and Barack Obama is president the airwaves are flooded with President Obama keepsakes and mementos. Every day the television is pimping Obama bobble head dolls, watches, coins, tee shirts, thongs, glasses, travel mugs, and for the lady who has everything; the adult toy designed to “put the ‘O’ in Obama.” (Warning: adult material) The Obama love fest rolls on, the campaign for 2012 begins today.
The media is in bed with Obama (pardon the pun if you checked out that last “memento”) and they have been for quite a while. And while that is fine it is a little disheartening to see the way so many people have bought into the hype that the media showered down on this man. As I said before he is the American Idol president. He is more of a rock star than a politician, he more of a Hollywood icon than he is a commander-in-chief. He comes with high expectations because the media raised him up on a pedestal and he can only hope that he lives up to these expectations. If not he has a long way to fall, but the media will be there to catch him and prop him back up so that he can defend his American Idol presidency.

Hillary Clinton’s Nomination May Be Held Up in the Senate
It seems that at least one Republican senator has a problem with Hillary Clinton becoming the Secretary of State while her husband is collecting millions of dollars in foreign money for his foundation.
Finally somebody sees a conflict of interest here. Hillary Clinton gallivanting across the globe talking to foreign leaders while her husband is raking in money from some of these same countries doesn’t seem to worry anybody. But there is a conflict of interest here.
Sen. John Cornyn does have a problem with this scenario and while in the end Hillary Clinton will be confirmed at least this will slow down the process so that the senators can make sure that there is nothing improper going on. A deeper look must be taken at this. There is a reason why so many of Obama’s nominees are on the fast track. It’s time to slow down the precess and make sure everything is proper.
Bill Clinton should at least show where this money is coming from and how it is being used, if not actually refusing foreign money while Hillary is Secretary of State.
That is what John Cornyn is concerned about.
Like many others, I remain deeply troubled that America’s foreign policy and your diplomatic mission will be encumbered by the sweeping global activities of the Clinton Foundation unless tighter foreign fundraising restrictions and transparency protocols are adopted
Considering that this was supposed to be an open and honest administration I think we should start with transparency right at the top.
