Video: OJ Simpson Endorses Hillary Clinton
Cross posted on Vindication Media
This is a post that I originally had in September. With super Tuesday fast approaching I thought it was time to bring it back again, so here is the original post:
This is a great video of OJ Simpson endorsing Hillary Clinton. The Clinton’s winning approval of a less than desirable person, it’s just a coincidence, it always is with the Clinton’s.
I found it on the Stuck On Stupid blog.
How can you not vote for Hillary now?

Speed Limits Coming to New Hampshire’s Biggest Lake?
As can be read here, Lake Winnipesaukee, New Hampshire’s largest lake, is now the latest target of the Democrats. A new bill that passed the house and is now on it’s way to the senate is calling for speed limits on the lake. So speeding must be a huge problem on the lake, right? Lets look at some numbers.
survey from July to September checked 3,852 boats, all but 62 of them during the day. A total of 36 boats were clocked at more than 45 mph. The survey found an average weekend speed of just under 29 mph, and an average weekday speed of 26 mph. The maximum speed, hit by three boats, was 62 mph.
Safety found that just under 1 percent of daytime boats exceeded 45 mph and 20 percent of boats at night exceeded 25 mph.
Only one percent of boats exceeded the proposed speed limit during the day, at night the percentage was quite a bit higher.
Here is a survey done on all boating accidents in New Hampshire over the last five years from nh.com:
Boating accidents by the numbers
Speed not the top cause
Coast Guard boating records for 1999-2004 list up to three causes for each boating accident. The causes cited in New Hampshire were operator inexperience, a cause of 61 accidents; operator inattention, 59; hazardous waters, 55; no proper lookout, 39; excessive speed, 35; weather, 28; careless/reckless operation, 24; machinery or equipment failure, 23.
Other causes were passenger/skier behavior, 16; sharp turn, 16; obstructed vision, 13; alcohol use, 8; congested waters, 6; improper loading, 6; wake, 5; improper anchoring, 3; improper boat lights, 3; overloading, 3; standing/sitting on bow, 3; rules-of-road infraction, 3; hull failure, 1; and unfamiliar waters, 1.
Fewer accidents
Boating accidents with injury or serious property damage declined by two-thirds from 1999 to 2004 in New Hampshire, the records show. The number of reported accidents fell from 109 in 1999 to 94 in 2000, 74 in 2001, 68 in 2002 when mandatory boater education began, 49 in 2003, and 35 in 2004. That’s a decline of 68 percent over five years.
Across the nation, boating accidents fell by 38 percent during the same years, from 7,931 in 1999 to 4,904 in 2004.
Fewer fatalities
The fatalities in those years also generally declined: 6 boating deaths in 1999 in the state, then in the following years, 7, 6, 3, 6, and 2 in 1999.
Nationally, there was a slight decline: 734 boating deaths in 1999, then 701 in 2000, 681 in 2001, 750 in 2002, 703 in 2003, and 676 in 2004.
Federal regulations require reporting to the Coast Guard of accidents with death or injury requiring more than first aid, or property damage exceeding $500.
Where accidents happen
By far most of the accidents happen on Lake Winnipesaukee, according to the Coast Guard records for the five years: 222 boating accidents on Winnipesaukee, 28 on Lake Winnisquam, 15 on Ossipee Lake. There were 14 accidents on state waters in the Atlantic Ocean, 14 on Lake Sunapee, 10 on Squam Lake, 8 in the Merrimack River, 6 in the Hampton River, and 112 on other waterways.
So while operator error of some kind is responsible for most accidents, speed is not an overwhelming problem. The number of accidents have also been coming sown over the last five years. So why now? Why the need for more regulations?
Because regulating and banning is all Democrats know how to do. That is their idea of governing. The more laws they pass that tell everyone else how to live their lives the more “work” they feel like they accomplished.
There is a continual, slow drumbeat out there. That drumbeat goes on in the background, and most people have heard it for so long that they no longer hear it. It is the drumbeat of government control. The goal is to get as many people as possible less self-reliant, and more reliant on government. As more and more personal choices and freedoms are removed “for our own good”, we become less and less independent. It starts off slowly and as more and more people fall into the mindset that the government is our mommy and will take care of us it breeds complacency and laziness. Laziness of the body and also of the mind. You no longer have to think for yourself as the government does it for you.
The government has started with the smokers, they are now going after obese people, and then they will move on to the next politically incorrect group of people and build up contempt and hatred towards that group in order to implement controls and regulations over them; Tim Ryan is a great motorcycle accident attorney in Los Angeles for those who have suffered injuries in California.
There is one other aspect to all of the nanny state laws that the government is imposing, and that is just as important if not more so. With regulations come fines and fees, in other words, more taxes. The more of your money the government has, and the less of it you have, the more control the government has over you. That is why this speed limit law comes into play. You can not even go out on a lake with your family and friends to enjoy a beautiful Summer day of fishing, without having to worry about whether you are doing anything wrong. These boaters are not out there hurting anyone, they are minding their own business, as if the state government isn’t already making enough money off these people they concoct this idea to help pay for Governor Lynch’s out of control spending spree.
This is nothing but a money grab, pure and simple. The governor is looking for more revenue to pay for his budget deficit and this is the next tax. Once implemented the fines will increase and the speed limit will decrease in order to bring more money into the now cash-strapped state of New Hampshire.
Personal freedoms and liberties, be damned.
John McCain Supported Timetables for Withdrawal From Iraq
I was surfing through the blogs this morning and I came across this post on Stuck On Stupid that I found rather interesting.
In Florida John McCain tried foolishly to link words that Mitt Romney spoke to Romney’s support of timetables for withdrawal from Iraq. This was a bold faced lie and he was called out on it in the debate and he was made to look stupid. He was caught in a lie and he knew it, even though he continued to say he was telling the truth. You know the old line, if you repeat a lie enough it becomes truth? Well, John McCain believes in that philosophy, yet another example of how John McCain is the same as Democrats.
But now we know the truth, and the truth is that John McCain previously supported the idea of a timetable for withdrawal. I give you this excerpt from Stuck On Stupid:
Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., one of the most stalwart supporters of the war in Iraq, said Thursday that he might propose that the Iraqi government meet certain benchmarks for the United States to continue its engagement.
Fellow senators and independent political scientists said McCain’s thinking reflected growing concerns within the Republican Party about the course of the war, and also might mark a turning point for the likely 2008 presidential contender, whose previous unconditional backing of the war may have hurt his prospects.
McCain said Thursday that he hadn’t yet decided on precise benchmarks. “They’d have to be specific, and they (Iraqi government officials) would have to meet them,” he said.
Asked what penalty would be imposed if Iraq failed to meet his benchmarks, he said: “I think everybody knows the consequences. Haven’t met the benchmarks? Obviously, then, we’re not able to complete the mission. Then you have to examine your options.Even Joe Biden was surprised about McCain’s Statements:
several Senate Democrats who oppose the troop buildup and also may seek the presidency said they were struck by McCain’s comments.
“We Catholics call that an epiphany,” said Senate Foreign Relations Chairman Joseph Biden, D-Del., who is sponsoring the main Democratic resolution opposing the troop buildup.
So while McCain distorted Romney’s words about supporting timetables, we find out that it was McCain who was actively looking at setting precise timetables for withdrawal from Iraq. This man will do or say anything to become elected, again too much like a Democrat for me.
John McCain is the candidate who flip-flopped on this issue, not Mitt Romney. Perhaps McCain should try to remember what he has said in the past and not worry about spinning what Mitt Romney has said in the past.
John McCain was exposed in the last debate as being a liar for his spin on the real reason he opposed the Bush tax cuts, and now we have proof of his flip-flop on Iraq. His one positive issue in my book was Iraq, and now I call that into question as well.
Mississippi Lawmakers to Debate Banning Obese People in Restaurants
The Smoking Gun is reporting that Mississippi lawmakers are considering a bill that would ban restaurants from serving obese people. This is just the next logical step in the government’s intrusion into personal behavior, and private businesses’ practices. It started with smoking and now it has moved on to who can eat what and where they can eat it.
While this bill appears to have very little chance of passing, it is just the first attempt. These liberal do-gooders never stop trying until they succeed. They just keep coming back for more. Eventually they break the will of enough people and are able to pass their agenda.
To be honest with you, I don’t understand how America has come to this point. It is trully sad. I know I have said that over and over again, but how else can I describe it. It is not only sad that America’s liberal politicians feel that they should be able to regulate how a business operates, IE no smoking in bars and now restaurants being banned from serving obese people, it is even more sad that this mindset has been ingrained in so many Americans heads that they feel this type of nanny state legislation is not only necessary but good.
Smoking is bad for your health, so is being obese, but does that give the government the right to swoop in and save people from themselves? I think not. If a person chooses to engage in an activity or behavior that does harm to ones-self that person has made a personal choice that may have consequences down the road. It is not up to the government to try to protect that person from the consequences.
If a business decides to allow certain LEGAL behaviors in it’s establishment should the government feel free to come in and tell the business that they must change their policies? I think not.
Americans are giving up more and more of their personal choices year after year. Non smokers laughed when smokers were getting the shaft all these years. Why, because these sniveling little brats didn’t like the smell and the bans didn’t affect them. Now obese people are coming under attack and many people will be laughing at them. Why? Because it won’t affect them. But what is next? If we keep letting the over-reaching arm of the government step into different aspects of personal choices and behaviors, it will only be a matter of time before no-one is laughing. Why? Because everone will be affected.
John McCain has a Former Mexican Cabinet Member as an Adviser
Juan Hernandez, the man who served in Vicente Fox’s cabinet when the latter was president of Mexico, is now advising Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.)
Doesn’t that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? Doesn’t this let you know where John McCain stands on illegal immigration? The problem is that most Republican voters know where John McCain stands on the issue of illegal immigration and are still voting for him. At least I think they do. Maybe they don’t. Most readers here are probably allot like I am, political junkies. Most readers here probably do know that McCain and Kennedy teamed up to forge the amnesty bill that president Bush had hoped to sign. But do most voters know this as well? I am not so sure. Republican voters and voters in general probably don’t spend their free time analyzing and paying attention to the daily political grind as many of us do, so maybe they are unaware of how much of a turncoat to Republicans McCain really is. It is actually disheartening to think that many voters go to the polls and vote based on name recognition and emotion rather than researching where the candidates stand on the issues and making a decision that way. I wonder how many people voting in this primary even realize how close we came to a national disaster with McCain’s amnesty bill? I wonder how many people even realize the fact that this bill will come up again if McCain is elected. I like to think they are informed, but if they were could they possibly vote for John Mcamnesty?
Now we learn that McCain has a former member of Vicente Fox’s cabinet on board as an adviser to help with Hispanic voters. This just proves that McCain has learned nothing from his failed amnesty bill last year. He has brought in a Mexican national to help with his campaign.
Here is what Juan Hernandez has to say about border policy:
“If we become a different kind of nation that doesn’t open its borders to immigrants, we will lose what makes this nation work,” Hernandez said. On another show, he said if Mexicans live and work in America they should “think Mexico first.”
That is the man advising John McCain on the borders. Does this sound like a man who now admits and realizes that Americans want a fence? It doesn’t to me.

John McCain Caught Lying in Last Night’s Debate
John McCain was exposed as being a liar last night in the Republican debate. He was called on his excuse for opposing the Bush tax cuts by Anderson Cooper. he has been stating during this campaign he opposed the Bush tax cuts because they didn’t reign in government spending. I call bullshit. We know, as you can read here, that the reason he gave in 2001 he opposed the tax cuts was that they favored the wealthy. He was using class warfare.
In 2001:
“I cannot in good conscience support a tax cut in which so many of the benefits go to the most fortunate among us at the expense of middle-class Americans who most need tax relief,” McCain said then.
In 2003:
“The tax cut is not appropriate until we find out the cost of the war and the cost of reconstruction,” McCain said then.
During this campaign:
“I disagreed when we had tax cuts without spending restraint,” the Arizona senator said.
BUSTED. John McCain has been in spin control mode on the tax cut issue for almost the entire campaign and he was finally called out on it.
During the debate he also claimed that because his plan to reign in spending with these tax cuts was abandoned that the Republicans lost control in the house and senate in 2006. He claimed they did not lose control because of the Iraq war. I call bullshit.
John McCain is revising history in an attempt to become president.
John McCain also purposely, willfully, and knowingly lied about Mitt Romney and his stance on setting timetables for withdrawal from Iraq. Even as Romney’s quote was read back to him he continued to misrepresent what Romney’s position was.
John McCain is the same as Democrats when it comes to many issues, and it now appears as though John McCain is like them when it comes to getting elected. John McCain has shown us that he will say and do whatever it takes to become president. Even lie.

A Letter to New Hampshire Governor John Lynch
Governor Lynch,
I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. Yes, thank you for finally realizing that last year’s budget was irresponsible. Of course, instead of admitting that you were not fiscally responsible last year you decided to blame the “national economic downturn”, in other words, you blamed President Bush.
I find this cowardly, unacceptable, and frankly quite unbecoming of a head of state. The truth is that you were warned by fiscal conservatives that your revenue projections were inflated, overblown, unobtainable, and unrealistic. You chose to ignore the warnings because you were too drunk with your new-found Democratic majority to listen to the voices of reason.
Your budget raised taxes and fees by $100 million, and we still have a budget deficit which will balloon to $150 million. That is not even including the estimated $400 million for education funding. Where is that money coming from?
During your state of the union address you said you would veto any bill that included new spending, however you did not rule out further tax increases.
I would also like to thank you for reminding New Hampshire voters why Democrats haven’t held majorities in all branches of state government in over one hundred years.
I look forward to voting against you for the third time. You know what they say, the third time’s a charm. New Hampshire had better hope so, we can not afford another governor John Lynch term.
Why am I Fighting?
As I sit down and write this, John McCain has been projected as winning the Florida Republican primary. It now appears as though McCain is the front-runner for the Republican nomination, and I think he will wind up with it. This is not acceptable to me.
One thing that I have discovered since I began blogging just over a year ago, and it is a discovery that I had not seen coming, is that blogging can be quite therapeutic. I can sit here in the privacy of my own home, just let my thoughts come out, and sort of type my way through what I am feeling. Tonight I hope this proves to be one of those posts.
Tonight as I watch Republicans abandon their conservative principles and ideals I wonder to myself, “why am I fighting this battle?”, “why do I continue to fight?”, and I have no answer.
This whole revolution that appears to be going on in the Republican party is something that Ryan has been writing about on Pro Patria for a little while now, but tonight it has hit home with me. Republican voters seem to be giving up their core values in order to nominate someone solely based on electability. Can someone truly give up a core value if it is indeed a core value?
Republican voters seem to have decided that John McCain is the most electable because he has fucked over Republicans every time he has had the chance. They have decided that this is acceptable because in their minds any Republican is better than any Democrat in the white house.
John McCain is no better than any Democrat in the white house. With the exception of national security he is exactly the same as the Democrats. I consider illegal immigration and border security part of the war on terror and national defense, and on that issue John McCain fails miserably.
Conservatives are selling out their party just to remain in power and this is also too reminiscent of Democrats in their quest to regain and keep power. What difference does it make whether Clinton, Obama, or McCain is the president who signs the immigration amnesty bill into law? What difference does it matter if Clinton, Obama, or McCain is the president who raises our taxes? What difference does it make if Clinton, Obama, or McCain is the president who is nominating justices to the courts? It matters not, the result is the same. Who gives a fuck if the president has a “D” or an “R” next to their name if they are selling our country out.
I have been, for the last year, trying to expose liberals and liberal policies for who and what they are only to be betrayed by my own party and my party’s voters. I can’t and will not in good conscience vote for John McCain, and I sure as hell can’t vote for any of the Democrats. So what the hell am I supposed to do? Who am I supposed to vote for? And more importantly, why am I fighting this fight when my party is so willing to give up the ideals I believe in?
My party has decided that keeping power is more important than ideas and that is sad. Tonight I ask the question why am I fighting? I just don’t know any more.
Barack Obama Supports Driver’s Licenses for Illegal Aliens
I wrote about the fact that Barack Obama supports giving illegal aliens driver’s licenses once before, and you can read that post here. Now, because Hillary garners too much of the California Hispanic vote, Obama feels he must pander to this group so he has reiterated his stance on licensing illegals. Once again liberal Democrats are dividing and conquering based on ethnicity.
In an effort to make in roads with Hispanic voters, Obama has reinforced his stance on handing out driver’s licenses for illegal immigrants.
to woo California Latinos, where he is running 3-to-1 behind rival Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, he (Obama) is taking a giant risk: spotlighting his support for the red-hot issue of granting driver’s licenses to illegal immigrants.
Barack Obama is in favor of handing out driver’s licenses to people who broke the law to get here. This is a ploy to get legal Hispanics to vote for him in the short term, but it is a ploy to get votes for Democrats in general for the long term. How? Because once you have a driver’s license you can register to vote. This is nothing but a ploy to get more welfare dependent Democrat voting constituents on the voters list.
Barack Obama, who is vying to become only the second black president ( Bill Clinton was the first), had the Clinton’s basically turn him into a black candidate in an effort to de-legitimize him. Funny how the Democrats, the all caring party, feel that if they paint Obama as being a black candidate they can de-legitimize him to Democrat voters, who also aren’t supposed to look at people and see color. Now Obama is trying to play the race card to Hispanic voters and tell them that he will reward their illegal activity by handing them licenses which will eventually allow them to illegally vote for the Democrat of their choice.
Nothing is out of bounds when it comes to Democrats. No promise is too great. They will say whatever they think will win them any voting block regardless of what the rest of America thinks. Surely if American Democrats were paying attention to where Obama stands on the issue of licensing illegals they would have reservations about voting for him, wouldn’t they? Sadly, the answer is no. Democrat voters look at his stance on illegals and think to themselves that as long as it insures a Democrat in the white house it doesn’t matter what harm is done to the country.
The end justifies the means.
