Barack Obama watched the Benghazi terrorist attack in real time and still didn’t send in reinforcements

October 28, 2012

Late last week we learned the revolting news that three times people on the ground in Libya during the terrorist attack on the United States embassy–which resulted in the deaths of Chris Stevens and three other Americans–asked for help three times and  they were denied help three times by someone within the Obama regime.

In spite of the fact that there was a drone flying overhead and people within the Obama regime were watching the attack in real time Defense Secretary Leon Panetta made the outrageous statement that help could not be sent in to Benghazi because there wasn’t enough information available at the time.

There’s a lot of Monday morning quarterbacking going on here,” Panetta said Thursday. “But the basic principle here … is that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on.

The obvious problem with that statement is the fact I mentioned above: there was a drone at the scene which was broadcasting the entire event back to Washington so the Obama regime couldn’t have asked for a better source for intelligence. They were watching the whole attack unfold and they knew exactly what was happening from the beginning.

As bad as that is it now appears to be getting worse for Barack Obama because, if this report is true, Barack Obama was actually one of the people who was watching the live feed of the attack provided by the drone in real time.

I hate to say this,” Schafer said, “according to my sources, yes, [the President] was one of those in the White House situation room in real-time watching this.

And with an attack of this magnitude I would be surprised if Barack Obama was not watching the attack unfold so I have believe this revelation is the truth. It requires the willing suspension of disbelief to think that nobody bothered to tell the president this attack was underway or that once he found out about it he didn’t bother to watch the live feed.

So as commander-in-chief what is the president’s job in a situation like this?

the question becomes, ‘What did the President do or not do in the moments he saw this unveiling?’ He — only he — could issue a directive to Secretary of Defense Panetta to do something

Leon Panetta couldn’t act until Barack Obama gave him the order and apparently no order ever came so we have to believe as Barack Obama watched this attack that he heard about the requests–which were denied–for support on the scene and he is the one who made the call to let these brave men die rather than risk his political future and I for one cannot think of a more serious dereliction of duty.

The more I hear, the sadder…and madder…and sicker I feel. I have tried my damndest since September 11, 2001 to NOT give in to fear, or despair. I’m a mother of 6, and a grandmother of 15. My heart is broken for those parents, widows, and children whose loved ones gave ALL THEY HAD to do what was RIGHT, and whose “Commander-in-Chief” betrayed them. MY GOD, America. What more do you need to see?

I feel all the same feelings as we learn more details about this attack. You used the word ‘betrayed’ and that is a strong word but I couldn’t agree with you more. If this doesn’t end up costing Barack Obama the election I fear for our future.

Will the public find out about this, (if it’s true), and if they do, will the lemmings still follow? I am at a loss of words…I’ve been asking myself this question all along, was he in that room….

It appears as if he was in that room and really it is hard to believe he wouldn’t be. The fact that he was there and still did nothing is even worse than if he had blown this off just as he did with all his security briefings. The lemmings will still follow but we have to hope this peels the moderates and undecideds away from him.

Hers’s my take on the big picture: Never one to under estimate the lack if sophistication if the Amerucan public at large, the after effects of Sandy will lend itself to the campaigner in chief showing himself to be the humanitarian in chief along the east coast swing states as he readily and immediately opens FEMA’s purse strings to the eternal grate fullness and gratitude of his adoring public. The disgraceful performance at Benghazi will be on the back burner until after the election and will never be addressed until Obama, the Clinton’s and Holder are firmly in charge. Seem implausible ?

I think you nailed it. Obama will suddenly become a leader again and the MSM will use Sandy as an excuse to ignore Benghazi.

These people make me sick and they all should go down in history for the miserable cowards that they are. I read somewhere today that the ratings of Fox News have been soaring since this story broke. They are the only ones covering it. SUCK WIND MSM!!! If Obama wins this election after this revalation, our country was already lost. But, I don’t think so!

Is it a coincidence that Fox is the only station covering it and their ratings are soaring? I think not, the American people want to know what happened so they have to turn to the only station covering it.

Those of us who care, sit, hope, and pray that this neurotic anti-American jerk will soon be out office, the sooner the better! That he’s so narcissistic that he cannot stand the thought of not being in front of the public daily is just the impetus I needed to never watch late night TV again.

But oh, what will I do …
    ……….. w/o “The View”? ; )

Agreed! This man just loves the limelight and he loves going on these friendly shows because they make him appear human and never ask him the tough questions. he feels it is a win-win but I think people are tiring of him not being willing to stand up and answer tough questions.

He is right on top of this storm, I read he is canceling a couple of his campaign stops to be at the command center to monitor the storm (photo=op of him at the desk looking all concerned) …of course this is AFTER he and “the girls” walked across the street for church this morning…photo-op material there, as well. The man (term used lightly) make me SICK!!!

Had he put half the effort he is now in this, into the Benghazi effort, we might still have 4 Americans alive today….

You’ve got that right Sonny, but the media will play this up even as they use it as an excuse to ignore Benghazi.

He also likes flashing that “big smile” of his…personally he looks like a braying donkey (ass) in my opinion, but it seems to have an effect on people.

That despicable bozo should not get one single vote from ANYONE who is in or has ever been in our armed services, (or from ANYONE else actually), but I fear that the lack of real news will keep that from happening.

I can’t believe there are many in the military who are going to vote for him, perhaps that is why some of their ballots burned in some mysterious plane crash.

This is sickening. I am at a major loss for words to describe how I feel. I can not believe we may actually reelect him and give him another four years with which to destroy our country.

Larry, I guess we need a plan B if that happens. Not sure what that will be, maybe work on getting some of congress out? I am not sure there will be much anyone can do at that point and I have a feeling there will be enough EO’s that we will never be allowed another election. THEN we will have another Castro or Chavez, etc….not much to look forward to, is it? So, we have to hope that enough people have had their eyes opened up and even though they might not SAY they are going to vote for Romney, that they just pull the lever for him i secret. I know a few people that I suspect will be doing that, but saving face by not saying they voted against Obama….damn unions, they have no place in how we vote. Some one needs to tell them that!!!

Obama will simply EO everything without using the Congress, I expect the Congress to a non-entity with Obama ruling as a dictator would.

I’m with you Larry, I can’t believe this race is even close at this time and I don’t even want to think about what the country will look like in four years if Obama is reelected.

The excuses made by Panetta, Clinton, Obama, etc. are not good enough. The Obama administration has totally lost the trust of our military, our ambassadors and the American people. Benghazi should be on every voter’s mind next Tuesday.

I think I can say with confidence, it won’t be. The majority will be focused on the “free stuff” that Obama has promised them. They don’t want things to change, they like it just the way it is. Of course they may be too stupid to realize that change is coming and it will not be to their liking. Then there are the rest of us that are screaming the truth, but it will fall on deaf ears. Kind of frustrating, isn’t it?

Once the storm passes and the newly dependent on gov’t grows from 47% to 51% the jig is up (no pun intended). Like any true blooded liberal the foreign exchange student from Kenya will mop up with the taxpayer money from FEMA. Hurricane Sandy will prove to be Obama’s Oklahoma City bombing. Bengazi? Yesterda’s news.
