DNC restores Bernie Sanders’ access to voter data after he ‘inappropriately’ accessed Hillary Clinton’s database 25 times

December 19, 2015

Yesterday the Democratic National Committee suspended Bernie Sanders from accessing his voter data after they found his campaign had inappropriately accessed Hillary Clinton’s campaign data. This led to Bernie Sanders claiming the DNC was trying to sabotage his campaign and protect Hillary Clinton. He also went on to basically say it was not his fault his campaign did this because there was a glitch in the DNC’s website which allowed him this access so it was actually the committee’s fault.

Today it is being reported that the Democratic National Committee and Bernie Sanders have reached an agreement and the Presidential hopeful now has access to his voter data. Here is more:

By early Saturday morning, however, after discussions with the DNC and a federal judge late Friday, the Sanders campaign said that the DNC had “capitulated” and agreed to restore access to the data.

“We are extremely pleased that the DNC has reversed its outrageous decision to take Sen. Sanders’ data. The information we provided tonight is essentially the same information we already sent them by email on Thursday,” said Jeff Weaver, Sanders’ campaign manager.

   And here is more:

“The Sanders campaign has now complied with the DNC’s request to provide the information that we have requested of them. Based on this information, we are restoring the Sanders campaign’s access to the voter file, but will continue to investigate to ensure that the data that was inappropriately accessed has been deleted and is no longer in possession of the Sanders campaign. The Sanders campaign has agreed to fully cooperate with the continuing DNC investigation of this breach.”

As we can see here, the Clinton campaign was not so gracious:

In a shift of strategy hours before the third Democratic debate, Hillary Clinton’s campaign went for Bernie Sanders’ jugular, accusing his team of stealing valuable campaign data, misrepresenting what happened and inflicting “damage here that cannot be undone.”

“This was not an inadvertent glimpse into our data,” campaign manager Robby Mook charged on a conference call with reporters Friday night. “The staffers did not make a mistake — they made 25 intentional searches of our data.” He said the breach struck at the heart of the campaign’s data “that took millions of dollars and hundreds of thousands of volunteer hours to build. The voter file…is the fundamental basis of our strategy.”

Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon followed with more personal attacks, accusing Sanders’ team of undertaking a “deliberate effort to muddy the waters as to what is going on here” and said their top campaign officials were leaving “wiggle room in their answers” as to whether they have retained any data that was accessed during the 40-minute breach.

While the Sanders campaign and the DNC have come to an agreement the lawsuit is still pending, Bernie Sanders has not withdrawn it as of yet. And he is still trying to maintain his innocence by deflecting the blame; he is now claiming his campaign told the DNC about this problem months ago. So the mentality here appears to be something like this: hey, we told them there was a problem and they did nothing about it so it is not our fault we took advantage of the problem by inappropriately accessing Hillary Clinton’s database twenty-five times.

Note this happened TWENTY-FIVE TIMES! It was not a one time mistake but I continue:

I find this story so interesting on a couple of levels: First; the irony of Hillary Clinton complaining about the way a person is using a computer for his own benefit after she set up a whole secret computer network in order to hide her pay for play schemes while she was Secretary of State is just too juicy to ignore! And second; Bernie Sanders’ positions on this seem to give us a glimpse into the liberal mindset on a couple of issues which I will state next.

We have all heard before that the liberal mindset turns everyone into a victim and ultimately holds nobody accountable or responsible for their own actions and here we have Bernie Sanders avoiding ultimate responsibility by trying to shift the blame onto the DNC itself even though his campaign repeatedly took advantage of the DNC. Doesn’t that sum it up perfectly?

But even more interesting  in my opinion is how this plays into the spread the wealth around mindset. See, it is not fair that Hillary Clinton, the more wealthy candidate by the way, had access to information that Bernie Sanders did not (the system is rigged is part of his campaign strategy after all) and so it is only fair that the information be spread around so that all candidates have a level playing field.

He bowed out of the birth certificate issue and some other things that shined a truer light on the scene. He rattles people up and makes emotional waves with no answers or solutions, so that tells us something. PLUS they allow him to continue to be on air without his car wrecking into a tree.

My feelings exactly Zip. Plus have you ever noticed how he seems to fire the left up before the elections. Sandra Fluke is a perfect example and I wonder if it is not intentional…

My hunch a Hillary plant inside Sanders campaign office that started this. The tin foil hat just keeps ending back up on my head. 🙂

I’ll need a tinfoil hat as well because I would not be surprised if that is the case.
