Yesterday vs Today: Donald Trump on the establishment

January 26, 2016

donald trump  Most of Donald Trump’s popularity has to do with the fact that many people are upset with the establishment politicians in Washington and I share their frustrations if not their candidate.  However recently Donald Trump made some statements when attacking Ted Cruz that I believe should have thrown up red flags with his supporters when he said that the Senator from Texas was a “nasty guy” and that nobody in the Congress liked him.

If it is true that nobody in the Congress likes Ted Cruz it is because he has gone against the establishment on several occasions so these seemed like strange comments coming from somebody who is promising to take on the establishment.

And then just a couple of days ago Donald Trump made the claim that “serious establishment types” were contacting him looking to join his campaign. Again, if true, one has to wonder exactly how anti-establishment Donald Trump is. He also made the claim that you have to be a little establishment to get things done in Washington.

So after making those comments just a couple of days ago imagine my surprise when I saw this new Donald Trump anti-establishment video today:

Donald Trump appears to be talking out of both sides of his mouth in recent days, so which is it Donald? He appears to be fighting the establishment on one hand but on the other hand he seems willing to work with the establishment. So we must ask who Donald Trump feels he can work with in the establishment and he was asked that question and his answer may surprise you–Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer.

He chose three of the most partisan of all the Democratic politicians as being people he can work with rather than more moderate Democrats who might be enticed to negotiate a little more willingly with Republicans and I think that answer should send shivers up the spines of all his supporters.

When he talks about taking on the establishment he appears to be only talking about the Republican establishment for it certainly appears now as if he is willing to work with the Democratic establishment and if that is the case we can expect more of the same type of deals the Republican establishment has been cutting with the Democrats.

I have been saying all along that Donald Trump is a plant and I believe that even more strongly than I did when he entered the race. I know my anti-Trump posts are not popular with many regular readers of America’s Watchtower but I believe this needs to be brought to light because I do not believe this man is who he is claiming to be.

I really am at a loss as to where to go with these candidates. It will be an exciting year to say the least.

Now with Trump pulling out of the debate I questions his motives even more. My guy is Rand Paul and that is who I will be voting for next month but sadly he is not going anywhere. As for the general election, I don’t know what I am going to do so I guess I will just have to see how it plays out.

Don’t worry about the popularity of you anti-Trump posts. He didn’t get sworn in on Jan. 20, so we all get to learn about all candidates ’til Nov. Democrats are the bad and ugly though.
I guess some will drop out before long. Maybe good ones too.
If Trump should make it to nomination and then win, look at it this way he is impeachable and convictible because of his white privilege and skin color, something we haven’t had for a few years, both parties might agree on that if it should come to that. 🙂

I think people will start dropping out after New Hampshire and then we can start to really get down to business. I think Trump pulling our of this debate is interesting because I think it shows us how thin-skinned he is.

I think that your instinct is spot on. The Donald is not in it for us. He’s in this for The Donald. You should never try to base your reporting on your popularity or you would be just like the people we are trying to unseat. Thanks again for all of your efforts on our behalf.
