Donald Trump backs merit-based immigration reform plan

August 2, 2017

  For years Washington has thrown around the term “comprehensive immigration reform.” We have been told that our immigration system is broken and that it needs to be fixed while some, like myself, believe the system is broken because the Federal government is not enforcing the immigration laws which are already on the books. In other words the system is intentionally broken.

  Today Donald Trump backed a comprehensive immigration reform bill which is being pushed by Republicans David Perdue and Tom Cotton. Of course this is not the comprehensive immigration reform the left and the Republican establishment has been talking about all these years and that’s why so many people is thinking on getting Canadian Immigration Services that differs from the US.

Sarah Huckabee Sanders calls out the mainstream media over selective Russian narrative

August 1, 2017

  Earlier today newly-appointed Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, while answering what the press thought was a loaded question, turned the tables on the mainstream media and called them out on their selective outrage over Russia collusion.

  She called out the media obsession with the fake Russian dossier which is the basis for the Russia collusion scandal while ignoring apparent Democratic collusion between Fusion GPS , the Clinton’s, the Clinton Foundation, Ukraine, and Russia. Here is how it went down:

She nailed it! She is certainly a breath of fresh air and an immeasurable improvement over Sean Spicer.

The Congress moves to investigate Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s IT scandal

August 1, 2017

  debbie-wasserman-schultzYou would not know it by listening to the McCarthyites in the mainstream media but the scandal involving the Democratic National Committee, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the integrity of the 2016 election, and the Awan brothers has exploded in the last week with the arrest of Imran Awan as he was trying to flee the country. He was officially arrested for bank fraud but Imran and his brothers are under investigation for illegally hacking into government computers during the 2016 election.

  The Capitol Police have been investigating this story and as part of the investigation they are holding Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s computer as evidence. This so bothers the former head of the Democratic National Committee that she threatened the Capitol Police Chief, saying there will be “consequences” if the computer is not returned. I believe she feels there could be “consequences” to herself if the computer is not returned before they find out what is on it…

Judge Napolitano: Debbie Wasserman Schultz arrested aide ‘had access to emails of every member of Congress’

July 31, 2017

  debbie-wasserman-schultzLast week Debbie Wasserman Schultz aide Imran Awan was arrested on bank fraud charges by the FBI as he was trying to flee the country. But bank fraud is only the beginning and while the mainstream media, if they are reporting on this at all, are focusing on bank fraud they are neglecting (purposely?) the fact that Imran and his two brothers were fired back in February under suspicion they illegally hacked into government computers during the 2016 election. Imran was looking to join his two brothers who have already fled the country under these accusations…

  When the brothers were accused of illegally accessing government computers all the Democrats who were employing the Awan brothers fired them except for Debbie Wasserman Schultz–she did not fire Imran until after his arrest and it looks as though she intended to keep him employed once he made it to Pakistan if not for his arrest.

  And then there is the fact that Debbie Wasserman Schultz issued a veiled threat to the Capitol Police Chief if he did not return her laptop, which was being held as evidence in this case.

  What was she so worried about the investigation turning up on her computer? Well, Judge Napolitano claims that Imran Awan had access to every single member of the Congress’ email accounts and was selling the information. Here is more:

Donald Trump considering Executive Action on healthcare reform

July 31, 2017

  According to this story Donald Trump is considering taking Executive Action on healthcare reform. Here is more:

U.S. Senator Rand Paul said he spoke to President Donald Trump by phone about healthcare reform on Monday and told the president he thought Trump had the authority to create associations that would allow organizations to offer group health insurance plans.

Allowing groups like AARP, which represents retirees, to form health associations could enable individuals and small businesses to form larger groups to negotiate with health insurance companies for lower rates.

  This actually sounds like a great idea, however I would prefer to see the Congress pass something like this and send it to Donald Trump’s desk than seeing the President act unilaterally.

  Speaking of which, I find it interesting that Rand Paul–a small government libertarian who in the past has stated Presidents are relying too much on Executive Action to pass their agenda instead of working with the Congress–seems to be okay with this.

  Like it or not Obamacare is here to stay, the Republicans have now shown they are okay with Obamacare because they are in bed with the lobbyists and special interest groups, so I believe the best path forward at this point is to correct what can be fixed and this might be a good start.

Anthony Scaramucci removed as Communications Director

July 31, 2017

  Well, the Anthony Scaramucci error era did not last long! Earlier today, at the request of new White House Chief of Staff John Kelly, the short-lived Communications Director was relieved of duty.

  Here is more:

Anthony Scaramucci was removed from his position as White House communications director, just 10 days after his appointment to the post.

Mr. Scaramucci, who is nicknamed “The Mooch,” was removed at the urging of former Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, who was sworn in as White House chief of staff Monday morning. Mr. Kelly is seeking to impose more discipline in the White House, two administration officials said.

After the swearing-in ceremony—which Mr. Scaramucci attended—Mr. Kelly returned to his office, where he informed Mr. Scaramucci in a one-on-one meeting that he was being forced to resign, a White House official said.

The ouster signaled Mr. Kelly’s authority over a White House that has been plagued by competing factions in the first six months of the Trump administration. President Donald Trump has told Mr. Kelly that all White House officials—including longtime advisers such as chief strategist Steve Bannon and family members such as son-in-law Jared Kushner —will report directly to the chief of staff, press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said at Monday’s news briefing.

  Anthony Scaramucci had to go, this was an easy decision to make after his ill-fated obscenity laced interview.

  In my post about the President’s decision to hire John Kelly, which you can read here, I wrote I was “hoping that John Kelly will be able to use his organization skills as a general to bring some much needed structure and discipline to the White House after the turmoil that has bubbled over during the last week or so” and with this move, and the news that John Kelly has been given authority over all White House officials, it looks like this is what we are going to see moving forward.

  Hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of the tumult that has plagued the White House for the last two weeks and we can get back to business. Now if John Kelly can convince Donald Trump to stop attacking Jeff Sessions…that would be good.

Judiciary Committee asks for a special counsel to investigate Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and Loretta Lynch

July 30, 2017

  According to this story all 20 Republican members of the House Judiciary Committee have signed a letter and sent it to Attorney General Jeff Sessions asking for an investigation of Hillary Clinton, James Comey, and Loretta Lynch for their shading dealings leading up to the 2016 election. Here is more:

Republicans of the House Judiciary Committee drafted a letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein Thursday, asking them to appoint a second special counsel to investigate the 2016 elections.

Unlike the current special counsel assigned to investigate matters surrounding the election, Robert Mueller, the letter calls for an investigation into the “actions taken by previously public figures like Attorney General Loretta Lynch, FBI Director James Comey, and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.”

The letter comes on the heels of a Thursday announcement that the committee has approved an investigation of its own into these figures. That investigation is slated to include a probe into ex-Director Comey’s leaking of his conversations with President Donald Trump through friend and law professor Daniel Richmond and alleged improprieties in former Attorney General Lynch’s handling of the investigation into then-presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s private email server. It was Deputy Attorney General Rosenstein, one of the letter’s addressees, who made the initial appointment of Robert Mueller as special counsel to investigate Russian interference after Sessions recused himself from oversight of the probe.

Here are the 14 specific questions the Judiciary Committee wants answers to:

  1. Then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch directing Mr. Comey to mislead the American people on the nature of the Clinton investigation;
  2. The shadow cast over our system of justice concerning Secretary Clinton and her involvement in mishandling classified information;
  3. FBI and DOJ’s investigative decisions related to former Secretary Clinton’s email investigation, including the propriety and consequence of immunity deals given to potential Clinton co-conspirators Cheryl Mills, Heather Samuelson, John Bentel and possibly others;
  4. The apparent failure of DOJ to empanel a grand jury to investigate allegations of mishandling of classified information by Hillary Clinton and her associates;
  5. The Department of State and its employees’ involvement in determining which communications of Secretary Clinton’s and her associates to turn over for public scrutiny;
  6. WikiLeaks disclosures concerning the Clinton Foundation and its potentially unlawful international dealings;
  7. Connections between the Clinton campaign, or the Clinton Foundation, and foreign entities, including those from Russia and Ukraine;
  8. Mr. Comey’s knowledge of the purchase of Uranium One by the company Rosatom, whether the approval of the sale was connected to any donations made to the Clinton Foundation, and what role Secretary Clinton played in the approval of that sale that had national security ramifications;
  9. Disclosures arising from unlawful access to the Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) computer systems, including inappropriate collusion between the DNC and the Clinton campaign to undermine Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign;
  10. Post-election accusations by the President that he was wiretapped by the previous Administration, and whether Mr. Comey and Ms. Lynch had any knowledge of efforts made by any federal agency to unlawfully monitor communications of then-candidate Trump or his associates;
  11. Selected leaks of classified information related to the unmasking of U.S. person identities incidentally collected upon by the intelligence community, including an assessment of whether anyone in the Obama Administration, including Mr. Comey, Ms. Lynch, Ms. Susan Rice, Ms. Samantha Power, or others, had any knowledge about the “unmasking” of individuals on then candidate-Trump’s campaign team, transition team, or both;
  12. Admitted leaks by Mr. Comey to Columbia University law professor, Daniel Richman, regarding conversations between Mr. Comey and President Trump, how the leaked information was purposefully released to lead to the appointment of a special counsel, and whether any classified information was included in the now infamous “Comey memos”;
  13. Mr. Comey’s and the FBI’s apparent reliance on “Fusion GPS” in its investigation of the Trump campaign, including the company’s creation of a “dossier” of information about Mr. Trump, that dossier’s commission and dissemination in the months before and after the 2016 election, whether the FBI paid anyone connected to the dossier, and the intelligence sources of Fusion GPS or any person or company working for Fusion GPS and its affiliates; and
  14. Any and all potential leaks originated by Mr. Comey and provide to author Michael Schmidt dating back to 1993.

  All valid questions in my opinion and questions which, although ignored by the mainstream media, we have wanted answers to for quite some time. After having come under fire from Donald Trump over the last couple of weeks I do not see how Jeff Sessions can afford to ignore this request, it is going to be interesting to see how he responds.

Fake news: Donald Trump snubs a little boy in a wheelchair

July 29, 2017

  If you have any left-leaning friends on social media you may have seen the video being circulated over the last week that purportedly showed Donald Trump snubbing a little boy in a wheelchair. If you have not seen it here is the video:

  It looks pretty bad doesn’t it? There is no way he did not see the little boy raising his hand so it must have been intentional and it goes to show you that the President is a “monster of narcissism.”

  However the video did not show what happened just before the President started shaking hands. Here is what happened when Donald Trump entered the room, skip to the 2:19 mark:

  The deceptive video was first propagated by Democratic staffer, Ansel Herz, who later removed the tweet and apologized for the “lack of context” but not before it was picked up by many celebrities including J.K. Rowling. And it turns out Donald Trump met with this boy and his mother privately last month.

Donald Trump fires Reince Priebus and hires John Kelly

July 28, 2017

  This news does not come as a surprise after what has been going on the last couple of days but a short while ago Donald Trump fired Reince Priebus and replaced him with General John Kelly.

  Here is more:

In a stunning Friday announcement, President Donald Trump announced that he had selected General John Kelly as his new chief of staff, replacing former Republican National Committee (RNC) chief Reince Priebus.

“I am pleased to inform you that I have just named General/Secretary John F Kelly as White House Chief of Staff,” Trump announced on Twitter. “He is a Great American and a Great Leader.”

Kelly earned the respect of the president as the head of his Department of Homeland Security (DHS), as the pair shared a deep respect for the rule of law and order.

“John has also done a spectacular job at Homeland Security,” Trump added on Twitter. “He has been a true star of my Administration.”

“I want to congratulate John Kelly, who has done an incredible job of Secretary of Homeland Security,” Trump said during his speech “Incredible. One of our real stars. Truly one of our stars.”

Here is what Donald Trump had to say about Reince Priebus:

“I would like to thank Reince Priebus for his service and dedication to his country,” Trump wrote. “We accomplished a lot together and I am proud of him!”

He certainly handled that with a little more magnanimity than Anthony Scaramucci…

  I have never been a fan of Reince Priebus, I have found him to be a RINO establishment Republican and I thought it was a mistake to make him Chief of Staff in the first place.  After running a campaign against the establishment one of the first things Donald Trump did was to hire an establishment politician, perhaps he thought it would bring some stability and experience to the White House. But now that mistake has been corrected.

  Anthony Scaramucci, and others, have been questioning whether or not Reince Priebus was one of the leakers, or the person directing the links. I have no idea if he was or not so I will not speculate on it, if he was it will come out at some point.

  Here is hoping that John Kelly will be able to use his organization skills as a general to bring some much needed structure and discipline to the White House after the turmoil that has bubbled over during the last week or so.
