This story is not nearly as conspiratorial my headline suggests. This should have been a bad week for Hillary Clinton after she appeared on Fox News Sunday and lied about what FBI Director James Comey said about her email scandal. However Donald Trump stole the headline and made himself the victim of nearly a week of bad press when he attacked Khizr Khan.
To be fair, the more we learn about Khizr Khan the less on the level he seems to be, however Donald Trump was given the perfect opportunity to go after Hillary Clinton and instead he chose to attack a man who said something mean about him, thereby letting Hillary Clinton off the hook for lying on national television.
Rudy Guiliani gave Donald Trump some words of advice earlier this week when he told the billionaire businessman to focus on the former Secretary of State and the current President and let his surrogates concentrate on everybody else.
Three top Democratic National Committee officials resign as fallout from the hacked emails continue
In the wake of the release of Democratic National Committee emails which showed the collusion between the party and Hillary Clinton Debbie Wasserman-Schultz stepped down in disgrace on the eve of the Democratic National Convention.
Today three more top officials have resigned in disgrace, here is more:
The chief executive of the Democratic National Committee and two other top officials have resigned in the wake of an email hack that embarrassed the party on the eve of its presidential nominating convention.
CEO Amy Dacey, chief finance officer Brad Marshall and communications director Luis Miranda left their jobs on Tuesday, the party said in a statement.
The resignations are the latest fallout from the hacked emails, which exposed an apparent lack of neutrality in the primary race between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders, with some party officials disparaging Sanders.
Marshall wrote the most explosive email, questioning Sanders’ Jewish faith and suggesting he could be portrayed as an atheist. He has apologized for the missive.
Hillary Clinton blames everyone else for her email problems while Donald Trump provides her cover
This weekend Hillary Clinton made a gaffe which would have been the big news today had not Donald Trump, with his continued attack on the Khan family, provided her with cover when she appeared on Fox News Sunday and lied once again to the American people about not receiving classified information on her unsecured personal email server even though James Comey stated that she did.

On this weekend’s broadcast of “Fox News Sunday,” when confronted with video of FBI director James Comey saying during her tenure as Secretary of State Hillary Clinton did send classified information over her private unsecured email server, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton said the emails in question were classified “retroactively.”
Clinton said, “That’s not what I heard director Comey say, and I thank you for giving me the opportunity in my view clarify. Director Comey said my answers were truthful, and what I’ve said is consistent with what I have told the American people, that there were decisions discussed and made to classify retroactively certain of the e-mails. I was communicating with over 300 people in my e-mailing. They certainly did not believe and no reason to believe that what they were sending was classified. In retrospect, different agencies come in and say, well, it should have been, but that’s not what was happening in real time.”
That is in direct contradiction to what James Comey testified to in front of the Congress while under oath when he stated that the former Secretary of State did in fact receive emails which were classified at the time of their transmission. However that is not what I want to focus on because at this point in time even Hillary Clinton supporters know she is lying about this, they just do not care.
According to Julian Assange, Hillary Clinton’s emails prove that at her urging the United States was providing ISIS with weapons to overthrow Muammar Gaddafi in Libya. Here is more:

We have known this for quite some time, however, as you can see in the link I provided above, Hillary Clinton swore under oath that she did not know this at the time when clearly she did if Julian Assange is correct. But of course at that time the Obama regime believed ISIS was a JV team…
I think that it is safe to say there is a rift brewing within the Democratic Party on Hillary Clinton’s choice of Tim Kaine to be her running-mate. The far-left wing of the Democratic Party–especially the Bernie Sanders supporters–are not happy with the choice because they were hoping for somebody who was more of a leftist. This portion of the party does not trust Hillary Clinton because of her ties to Wall Street and the fact that she is a millionaire campaigning against millionaires. It also does not help that Tim Kaine has been a supporter of the TPP and nobody really knows where Hillary Clinton stands on the trade agreement because she has been wishy-washy on the issue.
And then there is the issue of abortion: Tim Kaine is a Catholic and has stated he is personally opposed to abortion and he has been a supporter of the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the Federal funding of abortion, while Hillary Clinton wants the amendment repealed. In an attempt to win over some trust from the far-left faction of the party Hillary Clinton claimed that her running-mate has changed his mind and now supports the amendment’s repeal.

After poll shows a 17 point swing in Donald Trump’s favor Reuters changes its polling methodology
I have written in the past that polls are not designed to determine public opinion but rather to shape public opinion. Now, if this story is true, we have could have a perfect example of this. The latest Reuters tracking poll was released yesterday and it showed a 17 point swing in favor of Donald Trump in just a two week period.
Apparently Reuters was none to happy with the results and has determined its polling methodology was skewed and has decided to change it moving forward by removing the “neither” option. Here is more:
The FBI warned Hillary Clinton last Spring hackers were trying to access her server and she refused to cooperate
When Guccifer 2.0 leaked hacked Democratic National Committee emails to the public Hillary Clinton and the Democrats quickly placed the blame on Russia. This was an attempt to take the focus of the American people off of the contents of the emails and place it on a nation Mitt Romney once was laughed at for calling America’s greatest geopolitical threat–Russia. It worked and some of the blame for the successful diversion needs to be laid at the feet of Donald Trump. (Hegelian Dialectic?)
If it turns out to be true that Russia hacked into the Democratic National Committee’s email account the question has to be asked: how did the Democrats and Hillary Clinton know this so quickly? We might now know the answer to that question because it turns out that just a few short weeks before the Democratic National Committee’s email account was hacked the FBI warned Hillary Clinton that she was the target of a possible cyberattack.

The latest Reuters poll shows Donald Trump with a 17 point swing in the last two weeks
The latest Reuters tracking poll is out and is shows a remarkable 17 point swing in Donald Trump’s favor in just the last two weeks, here is more:
On July 14, 2016, Trump was 15 points behind Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton 46.5 percent to 31.5 percent. However as of July 26, 2016, Trump closed that 15 point gap and is now up two points over Clinton, 40.2 percent to 38.5 percent.
This poll was conducted through the first two days of the Democratic National Convention so it will be interesting to see what happens in the next poll after the convention is over. Hillary Clinton should receive a post-convention bump however it does not look at this point as if the convention has helped her.
That could change after she gives the biggest speech of her life later tonight but I would have expected a little slowing in Donald Trump’s surge by now if a bump was coming and that has not happened.
The poll was also conducted before Donald Trump’s remarks about Russian hacking so it will be interesting to see how this affects the polls as well. But the one thing we have learned about Donald Trump is that he can almost say anything he wants to and it does not hurt him. How many times has he said something the mainstream media has said will be his undoing only to see the opposite happen? I think this shows us how fed up the people are with the establishment.

It is being reported in this story that the IRS has opened an investigation into The Clinton Foundation over foreign donations made while Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State. Here is more:
IRS officials are investigating the Clinton Foundation for alleged fraud after dozens of lawmakers asked the tax agency to open an inquiry.
A spokeswoman for Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn., who led the effort to demand an investigation, told the Washington Examiner that the IRS has referred her request to its Exempt Organizations Examinations program.
The move signals a shift from the IRS’s announcement last year that it would not look into allegations of financial irregularities at the well-connected charity amid controversy over its acceptance of foreign donations while Hillary Clinton was serving as secretary of state.
Emails from Hillary Clinton’s private email server showed that donors to the Clinton Foundation may have received special access to the State Department while Clinton led the department.
Companies like the Blackstone Group, Honeywell, Merck, Boeing and others donated hundreds of thousands of dollars or even millions of dollars to the foundation, and then had access to high level State Department officials or even Clinton herself.
Of course we know how this will end–most likely with a secret meeting on the tarmac at an airport or some other similar venue–but with Hillary Clinton’s already tumbling trustability numbers and with Bernie Sanders’ supporters already believing she is corrupt and the system was rigged for her this is not going to help them endear themselves to her.
This is likely to drag on through the election and with any luck it will push Bernie Sanders supporters to Jill Stein. If Bernie Sanders supporters do not vote for Hillary Clinton she will be facing an uphill battle with so many people now believing she is corrupt. That is probably the best we can hope for at this point.
