Newly released emails show close relationship between the Clinton Foundation and the State Department

August 10, 2016

Judicial Watch has released a new batch of nearly 300 of Hillary Clinton’s emails, some of which were not turned over to the State Department as requested, and they show a close relationship between The Clinton Foundation, donors, and the State Department. Here is more:

Judicial Watch today released 296 pages of State Department records, of which 44 email exchanges were not previously turned over to the State Department, bringing the known total to date to 171 of new Clinton emails (not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over to the State Department).  These records further appear to contradict statements by Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails were turned over to the State Department

The new documents reveal that in April 2009 controversial Clinton Foundation official Doug Band pushed for a job for an associate. In the email Band tells Hillary Clinton’s former aides at the State Department Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin that it is “important to take care of [Redacted]. Band is reassured by Abedin that “Personnel has been sending him options.” Band was co-founder of Teneo Strategy with Bill Clinton and a top official of the Clinton Foundation, including its Clinton Global Initiative.

Included in the new document production is a 2009 email in which Band, directs Abedin and Mills to put Lebanese-Nigerian billionaire and Clinton Foundation donor Gilbert Chagoury in touch with the State Department’s “substance person” on Lebanon.  Band notes that Chagoury is “key guy there [Lebanon] and to us,” and insists that Abedin call Amb. Jeffrey Feltman to connect him to Chagoury.

Chagoury is a close friend of former President Bill Clinton and a top donor to the Clinton Foundation. He has appeared near the top of the Foundation’s donor list as a $1 million to $5 million contributor, according to foundation documents. He also pledged $1 billion to the Clinton Global Initiative.  According to a 2010 investigation by PBS Frontline, Chagoury was convicted in 2000 in Switzerland for laundering money from Nigeria, but agreed to a plea deal and repaid $66 million to the Nigerian government.

Orlando terrorist’s father sits behind Hillary Clinton at campaign rally

August 9, 2016

Hillary Clinton held a campaign rally in Kissimmee Florida and she opened by paying tribute to the families who lost loved ones in the Orlando gay nightclub shooting: “I know how many people, families, loved ones, and friends are still grieving, and we will be with you as you rebuild your lives.”

However this quickly became an awkward situation because it turns out the father of the terrorist shooter was not only in attendance but was sitting almost directly behind the former Secretary of State at the campaign rally. Here is more:

Hillary Clinton spoke to a crowd in Kissimmee, just south of Orlando.  She was supposed to be talking jobs, but started the speech off paying tribute to those affected by the Pulse Nightclub shooting.

“I know how many people, families, loved ones, and friends are still grieving, and we will be with you as you rebuild your lives.”

WPTV happened to notice the man, who has a mustache and was wearing a red hat, behind Clinton. It was Seddique Mateen, the father of Orlando mass shooter Omar Mateen.

Donald Trump taking heat for saying ‘second amendment people’ could find a way to stop Hillary Clinton

August 9, 2016

Donald Trump is taking heat in the mainstream media for saying that “second amendment people” could possibly find a way to stop Hillary Clinton from appointing judges. Here is what he said:

“Hillary wants to abolish, essentially abolish, the Second Amendment,” he said as an aside while smiling. “By the way, and if she gets to pick her judges, nothing you can do, folks. Although the Second Amendment people, maybe there is, I don’t know. But I’ll tell you what, that will be a horrible day.”

#NeverTrump movement finally has a candidate, meet Evan McMullin

August 8, 2016

It is no secret that the #NeverTrump movement has been trying to field a candidate to oppose Donald Trump in the general election and it looks as though they have finally found their man as Evan McMillin has announced his intention to run as an Independent and as a conservative alternative to the billionaire businessman.

  Here is more:

Republicans opposed to Donald Trump are making a last-ditch effort to put forth an alternative to the GOP presidential nominee.

Evan McMullin, a onetime chief policy director for House Republicans and a former CIA officer, is launching an independent presidential campaign with the help of political group Better for America.

Blasting Trump as personally unstable and “a real threat to our Republic,” McMullin said on his website that he felt compelled to run as an independent.

“With the stakes so high for our nation and at this late stage in the process, I can no longer stand on the sidelines,” McMullin wrote. “Our country needs leaders who are in it for the right reasons and who actually understand what makes this country the greatest on earth. Leaders who will unite us and guide us to a prosperous, secure future, beyond the dysfunction of a broken political system.”

In an interview with ABC News shortly after announcing, McMullin said that both Trump and Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton were unacceptable.

“Look, Donald Trump is defeating himself. He is ensuring that Hillary Clinton is elected,” he told ABC. “I think they would both be absolutely terrible.”

McMullin called Trump inhuman and an authoritarian who does not care about anyone but himself.

“I do believe he is a fraud and a con man and that’s not something I say lightly,” he continued.

I agree with him when he says that both Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump are unacceptable and I also agree with him when he says Donald Trump is “a fraud and a con man” who “does not care about anyone but himself” because I do not believe the billionaire businessman has America’s best interests at heart and I still believe he is controlled opposition to Hillary Clinton.

Evan McMullin has two things working against him: the first is that nobody has ever heard of this man before and the second is that he will not be on the ballot in 25 states. The #NeverTrump movement would be much better served if they rallied behind Gary Johnson because he will be on the ballot of all 50 states.

Two Benghazi families sue Hillary Clinton for wrongful death and defamation

August 8, 2016

It is being reported in this Boston Herald story that two Benghazi families have filed suit against Hillary Clinton for wrongful death and defamation. Here is more:

Parents of two Benghazi victims have sued Hillary Clinton, arguing that she caused the death of their sons and later defamed them in statements made to the media, according to court documents.

“During her campaign for President, Defendant Clinton has negligently, recklessly, and/or maliciously defamed Plaintiffs by either directly calling them liars, or by strongly implying that they are liars, in order to protect and enhance her public image and intimidate and emotionally harm and silence them not to speak up about the Benghazi attack on at least four separate occasions,” Larry Klayman, an attorney for the families, wrote in his complaint.

The suit was brought by Charles Woods and Pat Smith, parents of Benghazi victims Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith, respectively.

The suit also suggests Clinton’s use of a private server to handle classified emails could have contributed to the deaths.

“Having used a secret private email server that we now know was used to communicate with Ambassador Christopher Stevens with confidential and classified government information, and which we also now know was likely hacked by hostile adversaries such as Iran, Russia, China and North Korea aligning with terrorist groups, it is clear that Hillary Clinton allegedly negligently and recklessly gave up the classified location of the plaintiffs’ sons, resulting in a deadly terrorist attack that took their lives,” Klayman said in a statement.

I would not expect anything to come from this but this is the perfect opportunity to remind the American people how Donald Trump took heat, and rightfully so in my opinion, for questioning Gold Star parents  Khizr and Ghazala Khan while Hillary Clinton was given a pass for basically calling Pat Smith a liar in yet another glowing example of media bias. Perhaps that was the final straw…

Executed Iranian spy was discussed by Hillary Clinton on her personal email server

August 8, 2016

Once again Hillary Clinton is some hot water over her decision to use an unsecured personal email server on which she conducted all State Department business, this time because she allegedly discussed the Iranian spy who was executed by his home country over the weekend.

Tom Cotton came out swinging yesterday, here is what he had to say:

Hillary Clinton recklessly discussed, in emails hosted on her private server, an Iranian nuclear scientist who was executed by Iran for treason, Sen. Tom Cotton, R-Ark., said Sunday.

“I’m not going to comment on what he may or may not have done for the United States government, but in the emails that were on Hillary Clinton’s private server, there were conversations among her senior advisors about this gentleman,” he said on “Face the Nation.” Cotton was speaking about Shahram Amiri, who gave information to the U.S. about Iran’s nuclear program.

The senator said this lapse proves she is not capable of keeping the country safe.

“That goes to show just how reckless and careless her decision was to put that kind of highly classified information on a private server. And I think her judgment is not suited to keep this country safe,” he said.

Erik Prince, a former Navy SEAL and Blackwater CEO, went even further in his criticism. Here is what he had to say:

Flip Flop: Donald Trump to endorse Paul Ryan

August 5, 2016

I might have many differences with Donald Trump however up until this point we did agree on one issue–Paul Ryan must go! Paul Ryan is John Boehner-lite and he needs to be replaced. Donald Trump refused to endorse Paul Ryan when given the chance and then a few days later Mike Pence endorsed the Speaker of the House, embarrassing his running-mate.

However it is now being reported in this story that the billionaire businessman is going to reverse course and endorse Paul Ryan tonight, here is more:

Donald Trump is expected to endorse House Speaker Paul Ryan on Friday, moving to mend an intra-party rift that has put the Republican presidential nominee at odds with its highest-ranking elected official.

Trump’s endorsement of Ryan would come at an 8 p.m. ET rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, two sources said.
The move comes just days ahead of Ryan’s Tuesday primary matchup with challenger Paul Nehlen, who has played up Trump’s refusal to back the speaker — as well as Ryan’s tepid support for Trump.
Of course there is always the possibility that Donald Trump will use this publicity to go on stage and tell people to “vote their conscience” (although he most likely will word it differently) instead. Either way it cannot play well for him: either he backs down in the face of opposition from the establishment he is supposedly fighting against to back the House Speaker or he does exactly what he attacked Ted Cruz for doing.

Hillary Clinton says she ‘short-circuited’ during Chris Wallace email interview

August 5, 2016

When Hillary Clinton appeared for an interview with Chris Wallace last Sunday she blatantly lied to the American people about what FBI Director James Comey said during his testimony in front of the Congress about her email scandal.

Earlier today Hillary Clinton tried to clarify what she said in that ill-fated interview by claiming, in a long-winded rambling explanation, she and the host were talking over each other and because of this she “short-circuited” and mixed up what James Comey told her privately about what she testified to the FBI and what she has been telling the American people.

Newt Gingrich says Donald Trump is helping Hillary Clinton win

August 3, 2016

Newt GingrichThis story is not nearly as conspiratorial my headline suggests. This should have been a bad week for Hillary Clinton after she appeared on Fox News Sunday and lied about what FBI Director James Comey said about her email scandal. However Donald Trump stole the headline and made himself the victim of nearly a week of bad press when he attacked Khizr Khan.

To be fair, the more we learn about Khizr Khan the less on the level he seems to be, however Donald Trump was given the perfect opportunity to go after Hillary Clinton and instead he chose to attack a man who said something mean about him, thereby letting Hillary Clinton off the hook for lying on national television.

Rudy Guiliani gave Donald Trump some words of advice earlier this week when he told the billionaire businessman to focus on the former Secretary of State and the current President and let his surrogates concentrate on everybody else.
