Did the Democratic National Committee violate election law by coordinating with Hillary Clinton?
It now appears as if, according to this story, when the Democratic National Committee coordinated with Hillary Clinton to screw Bernie Sanders out of any chance at winning the nomination election laws were violated–possibly by all involved, including the former Secretary of State.

The June 22 WikiLeaks disclosure of 19,252 hacked emails appears to show a pattern of senior officers of the Democratic National Committee (DNC) scheming and colluding to favor Hillary Clinton and oppose Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during the 2016 Democrat primaries and caucuses. The emails include DNC plans to commit “dirty tricks,” spread false rumors, and coordinate activities directly with the Clinton campaign.
DNC officers earn annual salaries of $91,000 to $98,000 and staff members earn $29,000 and $96,000 a year, according to the Glassdoor website. Such apparent involvement by DNC employees in direct support of Clinton’s political campaign may have represented hundreds of thousands of dollars of value received.
Back at the end of last year America’s Watchtower reported that Bernie Sanders was claiming the Democratic National Committee planted moles in his campaign which then illegally accessed Hillary Clinton’s campaign database, leading the DNC to cut off the Senator from Vermont’s access to the national Democratic voters database.
At the time I sort of laughed it off as a conspiracy theory by a man who was looking to play the victim despite his campaign’s own wrongdoing. However I have to give credit where credit is due because with the recent leak of 20,000 DNC emails it turns out that Bernie Sanders was right about this infiltration.

A new CNN poll is out and it looks as if Donald Trump has received a post-convention bounce–he leads Hillary Clinton by 5% points. Here is more:
Donald Trump comes out of his convention ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for the White House, topping her 44% to 39% in a four-way matchup including Gary Johnson (9%) and Jill Stein (3%) and by three points in a two-way head-to-head, 48% to 45%. That latter finding represents a 6-point convention bounce for Trump, which are traditionally measured in two-way matchups.There hasn’t been a significant post-convention bounce in CNN’s polling since 2000. That year Al Gore and George W. Bush both boosted their numbers by an identical 8 points post-convention before ultimately battling all the way to the Supreme Court.
Debbie Wasserman-Schultz resigns from the DNC in disgrace and is immediately hired by Hillary Clinton
Yesterday Debbie Wasserman-Schultz announced she would be resigning as the head of the Democratic National Committee after leaked emails showed some members on the committee were actively working to undermine Bernie Sanders’s attempt to win the Democratic nomination.
Interestingly enough she was almost immediately hired by Hillary Clinton, here is more:
Hillary Clinton has hired soon-to-be-former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz. DWS will resign from her position effective at the conclusion of the Democratic National Convention. It was revealed that the DNC was effectively working to sabotage Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) during the Democratic primary, prompting calls for her to resign.
Clinton emailed supporters and said that Schultz would join the campaign as “honorary chair” of the 50-state program to ensure Democrats win elections nationwide. Wasserman Schultz will continue to serve as a Clinton surrogate.

In the wake of the email scandal which proved that Bernie Sanders was right about the Democratic National Committee conspiring against him, and on the heels of the news that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz would not be speaking at or running the Democratic convention, we are now learning that Debbie Wasserman-Schultz is going to resign as head of the DNC after the Democratic Convention.

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman-Schultz issued a statement Sunday saying she plans to resign after the Democratic National Convention concludes, according to reports.
Wasserman-Schultz came under heavy fire after an enormous series of damaging leaks helped to reveal what many in the Democratic base suspected: She had rigged the primary for a Hillary Clinton win.

Now on to the musical selection of the week. Here is a song by Sixx: A.M. entitled “Life is Beautiful.” Nikki Sixx was the bass player for heavy metal band Motley Crue and this is one of his latest projects.
In the late 1980’s Nikki Sixx overdosed on heroin and was pronounced legally dead before being revived. He has since kicked the habit and is now clean and this song is apparently about his new appreciation for life. I think that explains some of the lyrics.
There are two things I found interesting about this video and they are both symbolic. First, Nikki Sixx is wearing a Crucifix around his neck. I searched the internet trying to find out if his second lease on life led him to Christianity or the Catholic Church, I hope it did but I was not able to find anything about a conversion. Perhaps he is still keeping a new-found faith to himself or perhaps there is something else behind this. I am not sure what that would be but it leads me to another point…
Second, it appears to me as if the singer of Sixx: A.M. is sporting a “33” necklace and I find that to be very interesting because the 33rd degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite of Freemasonry is the highest obtainable level of Freemasonry.

Bernie Sanders campaign on DNC email revelations: somebody needs to be held accountable
Now that all of Bernie Sanders’s suspicions regarding the Democratic National Committee being in bed with Hillary Clinton’s campaign have been proven to be true with the leak of some 20,000 emails his campaign is lashing out at the rigged system and demanding that somebody be held accountable.

Bernie Sanders campaign manager Jeff Weaver said his team was “disappointed” by the emails from the Democratic National Committee leaked through WikiLeaks, which seemed to reveal staff in the party working to support Hillary Clinton.
“Someone does have to be held accountable,” Weaver said during an interview with ABC News. “We spent 48 hours of public attention worrying about who in the [Donald] Trump campaign was going to be held responsible for the fact that some lines of Mrs. Obama’s speech were taken by Mrs. Trump. Someone in the DNC needs to be held at least as accountable as the Trump campaign.”
Weaver said the emails showed misconduct at the highest level of the staff within the party and that he believed there would be more emails leaked, which would “reinforce” that the party had “its fingers on the scale.”
“Everybody is disappointed that much of what we felt was happening at the DNC was in fact happening, that you had in this case a clear example of the DNC taking sides and looking to place negative information into the political process.
“We have an electoral process. The DNC, by its charter, is required to be neutral among the candidates. Clearly it was not,” Weaver said, responding for the first time to the growing controversy. “We had obviously pointed that out in a number of instances prior to this, and these emails just bear that out.”
WikiLeaks has released roughly 20,000 emails allegedly from Democratic National Committee officials and if they are accurate they prove that Bernie Sanders was right all along: the system is rigged and the DNC favored and worked with Hillary Clinton to end Bernie Sanders’s upstart campaign against the entrenched establishment candidate.

On July 22, 2016 WikiLeaks released around 20,000 emails apparently from top DNC officials, illustrating that Democratic officials favored Hillary Clinton over Bernie Sanders. The email release, only days away from the Democratic Primary, shed light into potential election fraud (the DNC hasn’t confirmed the accuracy of the email release) and questions regarding how Clinton won the presumptive Democratic nomination. Bernie’s faith and belief in God was questioned by DNC strategists in one WikiLeaks email, as illustrated in a Washington Post article by Tom Hamburger and Karen Tumulty titled WikiLeaks releases thousands of documents about Clinton and internal deliberations:
One email written May 5 to DNC communications director Luis Miranda from another party official suggests looking at Bernie Sanders’ faith.
“It might may [sic] no difference, but for KY and WVA can we get someone to ask his belief,” the email from “marshall@dnc.org” says. “Does he believe in a God. He had skated on saying he has a Jewish heritage. I think I read he is an atheist. This could make several points difference with my peeps. My Southern Baptist peeps would draw a big difference between a Jew and an atheist.”
We can now add something else to the ever-growing list of apparent racist code words and dog whistles and that would be mentioning the names of big cities. This from none other than Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd:
Chris Matthews and Chuck Todd agreed that mentioning the names of big cities is racist “coded language.” Matthews previewed Donald Trump’s convention speech and was horrified over the presence of words such as “Baltimore” and “Washington D.C.”
Matthews somehow theorized, “When you get back to the angle, the edge, it’s about big cities with large minority populations. You go back to that old thing of bashing Washington, D.C., the old Marion Barry days, bashing Baltimore and Chicago, those city names evoke minorities.”
Chuck Todd agreed, “There’s some coded language.”
Earlier in the night, Matthews hit the same point. He ranted, “You’re going to see a lot about the big cities. There’s going to be an ethnic aspect to this, a racial aspect to it.”
So just mentioning these cities is racist code language but apparently calling at risk youths “super predators” and saying “we need to bring them to heel” as did Hillary Clinton while she was First Lady is okay. So much so that CNN will even go so far as to cut the feed if a reporter tries to even bring it up.

The feud between Donald Trump and Ted Cruz boiled over at the Republican convention this week when the Senator from Texas refused to endorse Donald Trump for President during his speech the other night while urging people to “vote their conscience” instead. (An interesting side-note: while introducing her father last night it seemed to me that Donald Trump’s daughter said much the same thing although she did not use the phrase and she did it for the opposite reason.)
And then this morning Donald Trump was asked about Ted Cruz and he took the opportunity to go after him one last time. (At least I hope this is the final time, more on that later.) This was a bitter, divisive, and frankly ugly campaign and in my opinion both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump went too far when they attacked each others families and I am glad it is over.
