The “experts” said that “extreme” weather and a spate of wet winters was responsible for the tragic trend, which the Independent newspaper attributed to “decades of global warming”.
“I’ve been working with dogs for more than 20 years and I can’t remember a time when they’ve been this bored. I tend to see boredom in bursts but I’m seeing it chronically this winter”, said Carolyn Menteith, a dog behaviourist who was named Britain’s Instructor of the Year in 2015.
Ms. Mentheth said that cold crisp winters had given way to “constant wet dreariness”, with the Independent explaining that, “she – like many scientists and meteorologists – puts this down to climate change and expects to see more bored dogs in the future as global warming unleashes increasingly frequent and intense bouts of winter rainfall.”
“I’ve never seen our dogs or horses this bored before in 20 years. Horses that have lived happily outside before are saying ‘I actually can’t cope with this mud and wet anymore’,” she said.
“We’re turning them out of their stables and they’re saying ‘Get me back in straight away’.
Wait a minute, did she actually just quote a horse!? That lends new meaning to getting it from the horse’s mouth…
So it you will not give up your freedoms, your rights, and your money to save mother earth, and if you will not do so to save the children, please do it for the animals. Oh, the humanity! Or should I say the animality…

While trying to defend Hillary Clinton from Bernie Sanders’ attacks for being well-funded by Super PAC’s Howard Dean let a dirty little secret out of the bag. Howard Dean was trying to play the gender card on Bernie Sanders by claiming she is facing a double-standard because she takes money from Super PAC’s but nobody questions Bernie Sanders for taking money from labor unions.
Here is what he said:
“Why does Hillary Clinton have to put up with a double standard?” Dean said. “I don’t hear anybody asking Bernie Sanders for his transcripts for some speech he made with a labor union. Frankly, for Bernie to say he doesn’t have a super PAC, labor unions are super PACs. Now, they’re super PACs that Democrats like, so we don’t go after labor unions, but this is a double standard.”
Latest New Hampshire poll shows Bernie Sanders ahead of Hillary Clinton by 31 points
The latest New Hampshire Democratic primary poll is out and this one shows Bernie Sanders getting a bump after the Iowa caucuses. (It does not look like New Hampshire will have to rely on any coin tosses if these results are accurate.) Bernie Sanders already had a big lead in the Granite State but it has now ballooned to 31 points.

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders continues to hold a wide lead over Hillary Clinton among likely New Hampshire primary voters, according to a new CNN/WMUR tracking poll conducted entirely after the Iowa caucuses.
Sanders stands at 61% support, up slightly from the 57% he held in a late January CNN/WMUR poll conducted before he and Clinton divided Iowa caucus goers almost evenly on Monday night. Clinton holds 30%, down a tick from the 34% she held before the caucuses.
It looks all but certain as we head into the last weekend before the New Hampshire primary that Hillary Clinton is going to suffer a humiliating defeat and it will be interesting to see how such a devastating and embarrassing loss will influence the elections in the next states? Or if it will at all.
Will Bernie Sanders get momentum which will be hard for the former Secretary of State to stop or will New Hampshire just be an outlier? We will soon find out but I bet Hillary Clinton is getting just a little bit worried…
On a side note: We like to talk about media bias and there is a subtle example of it in the block quote above. Did you notice how a loss of four points by Hillary Clinton was described as “down a click?” Do you think if either Donald Trump or Ted Cruz lost four points in between polls this is how it would be described? I didn’t think so…

Donald Trump claims Ted Cruz gave us Obamacare
Donald Trump gave a speech at a campaign rally in which he claimed that Ted Cruz was one of the deciding votes for Chief Justice John Roberts and because the Chief Justice voted in favor of the individual mandate and preserved Obamacare it means that Ted Cruz is responsible for Obamacare.

It is hard to blame any Republican, even the RINOs, for Obamacare (we can blame them for their false attempts at trying to repeal it when they had no intention of doing so) considering it passed with not one single Republican vote but Donald Trump tried to do so. However there is just one small problem with Donald Trump’s claim and that is this: Chief Justice Roberts was nominated to the Supreme Court by George Bush and was confirmed to the Supreme Court in 2005 while Ted Cruz did not win his election to the Senate until 2012 and was not sworn in until 2013.
So either Donald Trump is lying or he honestly has no idea what the hell he is talking about and I do not know which is worse.
After making this absurd and easily proven fallacy Donald Trump had the unmitigated gall and the hubris to actually state that the one thing he hates is a liar. I guess Donald Trump has not looked in the mirror lately…

Rand Paul and Rick Santorum drop out of the Republican primary
Well, the candidates are starting to drop like flies in the Republican primary field after the Iowa caucuses. First Mike Huckabee dropped out and today Rand Paul and Rick Santorum joined him as members of the also-ran.
Regular readers of America’s Watchtower know that I am a Rand Paul supporter so this news is disheartening to me although not surprising, however I did think that candidates would wait until after the New Hampshire results before making a decision to leave the race.
So where does this leave me at this late date as I prepare to vote in the New Hampshire primary?
Just a couple of days after claiming that Iowa did not matter life-long liberal Democrat Donald Trump has apparently changed his mind (as he has done on virtually every single issue since announcing his candidacy) and is now claiming that Ted Cruz “stole” the election and that there should either be a do over or the GOP should ignore the results and hand him the electoral votes.

“Ted Cruz didn’t win Iowa, he illegally stole it. That is why all of the polls were so wrong any [sic] why he got more votes than anticipated. Bad!” Trump tweeted Wednesday morning. The tweet disappeared within minutes of posting and was replaced by another that no longer included the word “illegally.”
He followed up with an ultimatum: “Based on the fraud committed by Senator Ted Cruz during the Iowa Caucus, either a new election should take place or Cruz results nullified,”
Of course in order to believe Ted Cruz stole the election we would have to believe that Ben Carson had enough support to sway the election if a small portion of his supporters did jump over to Ted Cruz , and he did not have much support to begin with, but let that go…
He then went on to state that he would most likely do what he always does when he does not get his way–file a lawsuit:
Bernie Sanders might boycott Thursday night’s debate
According to this story Bernie Sanders is considering boycotting this Thursday’s debate if Hillary Clinton does not agree to a debate in New York. Here is more:
Bernie Sanders’ campaign says he won’t participate in Thursday’s planned Democratic presidential debate unless Hillary Clinton agrees to the Sanders campaign’s conditions on future debates.“We are continuing to negotiate with them not just about the debate Thursday night, but about the other debates that we have said need to be agreed to in order to put the whole package of debates together,” Tad Devine, a top Sanders campaign official, told The Hill.“They have not agreed to at least one aspect of it, which is we’ve asked for a debate in New York, and they do not want to have a debate in New York.”Clinton is urging Sanders to debate her in New Hampshire this week, saying the campaign has met the conditions.“I sure hope — we’re in Bernie Sanders’ backyard here in New Hampshire — I sure hope he intends to show up in his neighboring state,” Clinton told CNN’s Wolf Blitzer on Tuesday. “Let the people of New Hampshire see us both on the debate stage.”
Scott Brown to endorse Donald Trump
It is now being reported in this story that two-time loser, and RINO, Scott Brown will endorse Donald Trump ahead of the New Hampshire primary. Here is more:
Former Massachusetts senator Scott P. Brown, a moderate Republican who two years ago ran for Senate in New Hampshire, will endorse Donald Trump at a rally here Tuesday night, one week before the state’s presidential primary.
Brown’s decision has been closely guarded for days, but it was confirmed by two people familiar with the event, where Brown will appear onstage with the candidate.

Ted Cruz and Hillary Clinton win Iowa caucuses
After months of speculation the Iowa caucuses were held last night so I thought I would put up a quick post about it before I head out to work this morning.
It looks like Hillary Clinton technically defeated Bernie Sanders last night because she is walking away with a few more delegates but it appears as if this was as tight a decision as you can have with six precincts being decided with coin tosses. When you think about it this is how it should have ended; after all it would not be fair if one candidate got more votes than the other so it is good to see the Democrats spreading the wealth of votes around. In typical Democratic fashion it is being reported that the votes from 90 precincts are missing. (But don’t worry, there is no such thing as voter fraud.)

Hillary Clinton supporters were asked to sign a petition to guarantee her choice for Vice President, Karl Marx, made it onto the ballot and here is the video. Videos such as this should always be taken with a grain of salt because they are edited to only show the people who did sign, there is no telling how many people refused to sign or even question the notion that a candidate’s VP selection needed to make the ballot through a petition in the first place, but it is entertaining, if not downright saddening, to see people sign the petition without question.
