Hillary Clinton’s withheld emails contained ‘operational information’ and could have put lives in danger
Last week the State Department declared that 22 of Hillary Clinton’s email could not be released even if they were redacted because they were too damaging to national security. (18 of these emails appear to be between the former Secretary of State and the President. Yes, that same President who claimed he only learned Hillary Clinton was not using a government email account when he heard about it on the news.)
Today we are learning, according to this story, that these emails contained “operational intelligence” which could have put lives in danger because they were on Hillary Clinton’s unsecure server.

The final Iowa poll shows tight races on both sides
The final Iowa poll before the caucuses is out and according to this story both the Democratic and Republican races are close. Here is more:
The final Des Moines Register poll was just released, showing Donald Trump leading the Republican field in Iowa with 28 percent, Ted Cruz with 23 percent and Marco Rubio with 15 percent. Hillary Clinton was ahead of Bernie Sanders, 45 percent to 42 percent, on the Democratic side. The political world — us included — was eagerly awaiting this survey, as Ann Selzer, who has conducted the Register’s polls since the 1988 caucuses, has a very good track record. But just how predictive of the final results have Selzer’s polls been? History suggests they’re a good indicator of what will happen in Monday’s Iowa caucuses, though there is room for a candidate or two to surprise.
If this poll holds up Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton will squeak out victories in Iowa although they are close enough to believe there could be an upset in the making on either side. In my opinion Hillary Clinton has more to lose in Iowa than does Donald Trump because Bernie Sanders holds a rather large lead in the last New Hampshire poll while Donald Trump appears ready to win New Hampshire in a semi landslide.

Now onto the musical selection and I think Zip is going to find this one interesting: Last Monday we went to see Muse play in Boston. For those who are not acquainted with Muse’s music, they are very political and also conspiracy-minded. There is quite a bit of discussion on the internet about them actually being tools of the Illuminati but I believe they are on our side. Anyway, it was an unbelievable show and I found a video from the show that I have decided to share.
During the song “The Handler” Matt Bellamy and Chris Wolstenholme stood on opposite sides of the stage and a giant evil puppet-master appeared above them making it appear as if the two were puppets dancing on the strings as they played. Part of the song is missing from the video but this one has the best audio is the best one I found that showed the evil puppet-master, enjoy:

The battle for second place in New Hampshire is very close
If all of the New Hampshire polls are correct Donald Trump is going to win the Granite State’s primary very easily but the battle for second place appears to be very much up in the air.

Sen. Ted Cruz (Texas) and Ohio Gov. John Kasich tie with 12 percent apiece, followed by former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush at 11 percent and Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.) at 10 percent.
We have been told time and time again by Democrats that there is no such thing as voter fraud. We have also been told that because there is no voter fraud that the Republicans who push for voter ID and voter reform laws are racists who are looking to use this non-issue as an excuse to keep minorities from voting because they are racists.
So you can imagine my surprise when I learned a couple of days ago that the Sanders campaign is worried about Microsoft’s role in the Iowa caucuses and the possibility (although unspoken) that Microsoft could be trying to rig the Iowa election for Hillary Clinton.

News broke earlier today that the last batch of Hillary Clinton’s emails would be delayed until, conveniently, after the Iowa and New Hampshire elections due to the recent snowstorm. When I first read this story I intended to write a post which, to summarize, went something like this: With each new State Department email release the news keeps getting worse and worse for Hillary Clinton heading into the primary elections so it is not a stretch of the imagination to believe that the last batch would have contained the most damaging emails of all. So naturally the State Department would find a convenient excuse to delay the release of the emails until after the first two states had voted in the elections and the recent snowstorm provided the much needed cover.
However things have changed with this new story which came out a few hours later: The State Department has admitted and the Obama regime has confirmed that some of Hillary Clinton’s emails are so damaging that they will never be released due to national security issues.

Republican debate open thread
Tonight there is yet another Republican debate so I have decided to put up an open thread in case anyone is interested in posting their thoughts on it. I will not be watching it but not because Donald Trump is boycotting it, but rather because I already know who I will be voting for in a couple of weeks and The Blacklist is on tonight.
If I find anything to be noteworthy I will most likely write about it tomorrow.
Afterburner with Bill Whittle: ‘Trump’
Many readers of America’s Watchtower are supporters of Donald Trump while I am not, but we have not let our differences on this issue get between us as we debate who the Republican nominee for President should be. However that is not the case in many other places. While I have made no bones about my position on Donald Trump and while the readers of America’s Watchtower have also stated their reasons for supporting him we have remained friendly but there is a rift growing between Trump supporters and Trump “haters.” (For lack of a better word.)
Having said that I believe Bill Whittle’s latest Afterburner video entitled “Trump” is a must see. In this video he tries to breech the gap that is growing within the Republican party over Donald Trump and he has advice for both sides as he tries to remind us that we are not enemies. The enemies are the socialists and statists on the other side…
It is pretty clear that he will be voting for another candidate in the primary but makes it clear he will vote for Donald Trump if he is the nominee. (Which is something he says he will not do if Chris Christie or Jeb Bush is the nominee.) He talks about having to make a choice with what we like about Donald Trump and what we do not like about him. He asks us to make a decision about whether the good outweighs the bad, and then reminds us that he will still be better than the other side and it is up to us to mold him into the President we want him to be.

Harry Reid says he is pulling for Donald Trump, recalls the ‘good old days’ when Donald Trump held fundraisers for him
A couple of days ago Donald Trump was asked which members of the Congress he could work with if he was elected President and he named three people. Interesting enough is the fact that not only were the three people he named not Republicans, but in fact are three of the most partisan Democrats in the Congress–Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and Chuck Schumer. (Oh, and by the way all three just happen to be members of the same establishment Donald Trump claims to oppose.)
Today Harry Reid was asked about Donald Trump’s comment and he said he was “kind of pulling for him.” He also recalled the fundraisers Donald Trump held for him. Here is more:
“Look, we’ve gotten along fine,” Reid said. “With that bunch of people running, I’m kind of pulling for him.”
Asked about Trump’s statement, Reid added, ‘Oh, I remember the good old days when he did a fundraiser or two for me.’
He then quickly tried to walk back the comments:
Will Hillary Clinton nominate Barack Obama to the Supreme Court if she is elected President?
During a campaign event in Iowa Hillary Clinton was asked if she would nominate Barack Obama to the Supreme Court and this is how she answered:
At a campaign event in Iowa Tuesday, Mrs. Clinton told the crowd the next president may have to appoint up to three Supreme Court justices. When one attendee mentioned Mr. Obama as a contender, she seemed excited by the recommendation.
“Wow, what a great idea. No one has ever suggested that to me, I love that, wow,” Mrs. Clinton said. “He may have a few other things to do, but I tell you, that’s a great idea.
“I mean, he’s brilliant, he can set forth an argument and he was a law professor,” she added. “So he’s got all the credentials, but we would have to get a Democratic Senate to get him confirmed.”
