Since the news broke about Planned Parenthood’s policy on selling the organs and tissue of aborted babies to fetal tissue procurement companies for research the agency has sworn that this is only done with the consent of the pregnant woman. However a new video has been released in which a woman who worked with Planned Parenthood for StemExpress claims this was not always the case.
Here is more:
O’Donnell says that the pressure from her employers to procure valuable fetal tissue made her mission to harvest organs not an “option,” but a “demand.” She charges that techs working Planned Parenthood clinics didn’t always take the time to actually make that demand of the abortion mill’s clients: “If there was a higher gestation, and the technicians needed it, there were times when they would just take what they wanted. And these mothers don’t know. And there’s no way they would know.”
She goes on to say that pregnancies are viewed as “potential specimens” and because of this it is all about “taking advantage of the opportunities.” If this is the true mindset of many of Planned Parenthood “procurement” agents then it seems possible the agency would have an interest in making sure it can provide as many abortions as possible without concern for what is actually best for the pregnant woman.
Which brings to mind another reason, in my opinion, why Planned Parenthood might skip out on asking consent from a scared, pregnant teenager and that is because if they were to ask this girl if she would consent to give up her baby’s heart, liver, and other organs after the procedure is over it might cause her to reconsider her decision after realizing the thing growing inside of her is not just a mass of cells and tissue after all. Never let an “opportunity” go to waste…

The last few New Hampshire Democratic primary polls have showed Bernie Sanders creeping up on Hillary Clinton and now, for the first time, the former Senator from Vermont has pulled ahead of the presumptive nominee. Here is more:
Democratic presidential hopeful Bernie Sanders has rocketed past longtime front-runner Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire, a stunning turn in a race once considered a lock for the former secretary of state, a new Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll shows.
Sanders leads Clinton 44-37 percent among likely Democratic primary voters, the first time the heavily favored Clinton has trailed in the 2016 primary campaign, according to the poll of 442 Granite-Staters.
Vice President Joe Biden got 9 percent support in the test primary match-up. The other announced Democrats in the race, former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley, former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee and former Virginia Gov. Jim Webb, barely register at 1 percent or below.
And not only has he taken the lead in the Granite State but he has moved ahead by seven points (outside the margin of error) in a short period of time. I think this new poll shows us a couple of things: Hillary Clinton is just not that likable and, regardless of what the left says in her defense, the email scandal is real and it is worrisome to Democrats. It could also mean the party has moved even further to the left than anyone had anticipated.
It is going to be interesting to watch this play out. When push comes to shove will the Democratic voters pull the lever for Bernie Sanders or are they just trying to send a message to Hillary Clinton?
The Congress declares itself a small business (and lies about its number of employees) in order to qualify for Obamacare subsidies
I have written many times in the past about how the Republicans and the Democrats are really on the same side–the establishment side–and about how they put on a show for the American people using the Hegelian Dialectic of thesis/anti-thesis/synthesis to make it appear as if we have a real choice in the elections. The dialectic goes something like this: create or take advantage of a crisis, create the opposition to the crisis in order to control both sides, and then use the controlled chaos as the two sides battle to implement the predetermined solution.
A perfect example of this is Obamacare: the Republicans love to run campaigns based on the promise of repealing Obamacare but when they had the chance to defund the healthcare program what did they do? The Republican controlled House can cut off the funding any time it wants to and yet the program remains funded, why is that?
In my opinion, which I have stated before, it has always been simple: the Republican establishment is not really interested in repealing Obamacare because they find it to be a winning campaign issue. They have made the political calculation that they can win elections on the promise of repealing Obamacare and they are going to continue to do so until it is no longer a winning issue. If they were actually to defund the program they would lose a campaign issue and they would rather make it look as if they are trying to repeal Obamacare and failing than they are in actually defunding it and making good on a promise.
Hillary Clinton certifies under penalty of perjury that she handed over all State related emails
It is now being reported that Hillary Clinton has complied with a Federal judge’s request that she certify under penalty of perjury that she has turned over all State Department related email from her personal email server. Here is more:
Acting in response to a request from a federal judge, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Friday submitted her first official, formal certification under penalty of perjury that she had all her work-related email turned over to the State Department.
This of course is subjective because we know that she had her aides delete some 30,000 emails which she claims were personal in nature before she certified the emails she handed over so the answer to the question may lie with her two most trusted and high level aides–Cheryl Mills and Huma Abedin–and to date they have refused to cooperate with the judge’s request.
In fact it is being reported that Cheryl Mills’s attorney has told Mrs. Mills to delete all of her official emails on August 10th, raising the question why? Perhaps, unlike the case of her boss, the purge is not complete…

Hillary Clinton aide Cheryl Mills will destroy all Hillary Clinton related emails on August 10th
It looks like a race against the clock is on between Judicial Watch and one of Hillary Clinton’s top aides, Cheryl Mills.
Recently a Federal judge ordered the State Department to provide a report on the status in regard to releasing the documents Judicial Watch has requested through FOIA and today the State Department fulfilled that order. However the order also asked the State Department to request that Hillary Clinton, Cheryl Mills, and Huma Abedin file a statement under the penalty of perjury stating they have turned over all official State Department emails and to date none of the three have done so.
The State Department filing shows that the agency sent the former officials the request and a copy of Judge Sullivan’s order but that both Mills and Abedin, who responded through their attorneys, ignored Judge Sullivan’s request to submit information under penalty of perjury. The State Department reports that Mrs. Clinton has yet to respond.
Of course there is nothing wrong with this, it was only a request and not an order after all, but this is where it gets interesting. Cheryl Mill’s attorney has told Mrs. Mills to destroy all Federal records still in her possession on August 10th.
Open thread for Saturday, August 8th: ‘Where is my Mind?”
Here is the open thread for Saturday, August 8th. Please feel free to post links to interesting articles and to discuss whatever issues arise during the course of the day. Nothing is off-topic here.
Last week was a more normal week with 7 stories, not as many as I would like but did you miss any of them? If so there is an easy way to make sure it does not happen again. I understand that all of you are busy and cannot always find the time to check the blog for updates so why not subscribe to America’s Watchtower and receive email updates whenever I write a new post? That is the easiest way to follow the blog to ensure you never miss another post.
In addition to subscribing you can also follow America’s Watchtower on Facebook and Twitter by clicking the links on the right. But you will get more than that for I often post links to articles I probably will not be writing about so it is a great way to keep up with what is happening.
The Twitter widget in the sidebar is fully interactive. This widget updates my tweets in real time and allows you to respond to or retweet my tweets right from the blog. It also allows you to tweet me right from America’s Watchtower. How cool is that! If you do not have a Twitter account what better reason do you need to sign up for one!
Today is the last day of my vacation; at some point today or tonight we will be driving home and then tomorrow it is back on the road to Virginia for another week. I will be in the truck for 11 hours so that is why the open thread comes a day early. The Pixies were a Boston band in the late ’80’s and early ’90’s who were pretty popular in the region for awhile and had moderate success nationally and internationally before they eventually broke up. Here is “Where is my Mind” performed live in 1988.

The FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s State Department emails is a criminal investigation
Yesterday we learned the FBI was investigating Hillary Clinton’s use of a personal email server to conduct all State Department business while she was the head of that agency however we were told that this was not a criminal investigation.
When the story broke something did not sound right: The story was being framed as if the FBI was only investigating the security of her personal email server, not the possibility she was in violation of Federal law. Why would the FBI open up an investigation into a possible violation of Federal law and then state that this was not a criminal investigation?
The only answer I could come up with was that this was nothing but an effort to provide Hillary Clinton with cover for her political campaign. If and when the email scandal came up during the campaign the former Secretary of State could simply state “the FBI has already investigated this issue and found no criminal activity. This is a dead issue and part of a vast right wing conspiracy.” But of course the FBI would have found no criminal activity if they were not looking for any.
However, if this story is true, the FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server is indeed criminal in nature. Here is more:
According to this story the FBI is investigating the security of the personal email server Hillary Clinton used to conduct all State Department business on during her tenure as the head of that agency.
Here is more:
The FBI has begun looking into the security of Hillary Rodham Clinton’s private e-mail setup, contacting in the past week a Denver-based technology firm that helped manage the unusual system, according to two government officials.
Also last week, the FBI contacted Clinton’s lawyer, David Kendall, with questions about the security of a thumb drive in his possession that contains copies of work e-mails Clinton sent during her time as secretary of state.
The FBI’s interest in Clinton’s e-mail system comes after the intelligence community’s inspector general referred the issue to the Justice Department in July. Intelligence officials expressed concern that some sensitive information was not in the government’s possession and could be “compromised.” The referral did not accuse Clinton of any wrongdoing, and the two officials said Tuesday that the FBI is not targeting her.
Kendall confirmed the contact, saying: “The government is seeking assurance about the storage of those materials. We are actively cooperating.”
Certainly an investigation is warranted however you will note, according to the article, the FBI is only looking into the security aspect of the story and not into whether or not the former Secretary of State violated Federal law or was using a personal email server in order to keep her official emails out of the hands of government oversight committees and those seeking information under FOIA requests–and those issues are just as important in my opinion.
Once the investigation is over and the FBI determines the email server was secure this will allow Hillary Clinton to put the issue to bed during the campaign (it’s a dead issue) when in reality only one of the troublesome aspects of this story will have been addressed.

Kelly Osbourne on The View asks Donald Trump who will clean toilets if all the Latinos are kicked out of the country
Kelly Osbourne had an interesting comment on The View: She asked Donald Trump who would clean his toilets if all the Latinos were kicked out of this country. Here is how it went down:
There were a few gasps from the panel because this sounds like a pretty racist comment for a good little liberal to utter, but as she began to backtrack one member of the panel came to her aid by clarifying that she was not talking generally but meant that this was the type of person someone like Donald Trump would hire for such a menial task. She was trying to paint Donald Trump as a racist but I would ask if she it talking from personal experience in the Osborne household but I digress. And who is talking about kicking all the Latinos out of the country in the first place?
If it were Elizabeth Hasselbeck who made a statement like this while she was on The View do you think anyone on the panel would have come to her rescue?
