DHS issues new deportation rules after Barack Obama’s immigration Executive Order

November 22, 2014

It is only natural that after Barack Obama issued his illegal immigration/amnesty Proclamation that the Department of Homeland Security would have to release new rules concerning illegal immigration and deportation and that is exactly what the agency has done.

  Here is more:

The Department of Homeland Security has just released new “Policies for the Apprehension, Detention, and Removal of Undocumented Immigrants.” Designed to fill in the details after President Obama’s announcement that at least four million currently illegal immigrants will be given work permits, Social Security numbers and protection from deportation, the DHS guidelines are instructions for the nation’s immigration and border security officers as they administer the president’s directive. Immigrants can get help with the becraft law office in LA to not getting deported.

First the good news, if you believe these rules will be enforced that is:

Barack Obama quietly extends the war in Afghanistan

November 22, 2014

Back in May in the Rose Garden, and to much fanfare, Barack Obama announced that he was ending the war in Afghanistan at the close of 2014. He told the American people that there would be some troops left behind which were going to be used to train Afghans, but combat missions were over.

Then, during a surprise visit to Afghanistan, he assured the troops the war was ending and he even went on to say this:

He cited progress in Afghanistan, adding, “I will be honest with you, it has gone better than I might have expected a year ago.”

Finally after six years in office the President was able to make good on this campaign promise. But that was then and this is now. Things are apparently not going better than he expected any longer, as he stated above, because the New York Times is reporting that Barack Obama has quietly reversed his decision and the combat mission will be extended through 2015. What happens then, well that is anyone’s guess.

Gunrunner: Newly released emails show the White House and the DOJ targeted Sharyl Attkisson

November 22, 2014

fastandfuriouscoverup_12 With Eric Holder officially on the way out we are now starting to get some interesting revelations on the Department of Injustice’s probable role in trying to cover up the Fast and Furious scandal. Perhaps the emails which Barack Obama tried to hide through Executive Privilege–which a judge ordered released–are beginning to give us an insight into how far the regime was willing to go in order to hide what was really going on in arming Mexican drug cartels. It appears as if Eric Holder is leaving just in time, could it be related to these documents?

Judicial Watch received another 42,000 pages of documents last week and is now reporting that the DOJ and the White House targeted Sharyl Attkisson because they felt she was “out of control.” Of course by out of control they meant she was doing her job…

The IRS has recovered 30,000 of Lois Lerner’s missing emails

November 21, 2014

After claiming for months that Lois Lerner’s lost emails were most likely gone for good the IRS has notified Darrell Issa that they have recovered up to 3o,ooo of the emails in question.

  Here is more:

Up to 30,000 missing emails sent by former Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner have been recovered by the IRS inspector general, five months after they were deemed lost forever.

The U.S. Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) informed congressional staffers from several committees on Friday that the emails were found among hundreds of “disaster recovery tapes” that were used to back up the IRS email system.

In June Koskinen told Congress the emails were probably lost for good because the disaster recovery tape holds onto the data for only six months. He said even if the IRS had sought the emails within the six-month period, it would have been a complicated and difficult process to produce them from the tapes.

This is good news of course, but does anyone find it interesting that the emails which were supposedly gone forever before the mid-term election were recovered so shortly after the election was over?

  Yeah, me too…

Vermont dumps Jonathan Gruber over his “stupidity of the American voters” comment

November 20, 2014

Consider this to be your feel-good story in a week which has been less than stellar to say the least. In the wake of Jonathan Gruber’s “the stupidity of the American voters” comment controversy, and all that has ensued since then, the state of Vermont has terminated its contract with the beleaguered Obamacare architect.

  Here is more:

Following an embarrassing string of missteps, Vermont has stopped paying controversial economist Jonathan Gruber for his work on the Affordable Care Act.

A spokesman for Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin said Wednesday that the state would no longer pay the ObamaCare architect.

“As the Governor and I have said, the comments by Mr. Gruber are offensive, inappropriate and do not reflect the thinking of this administration or how we do things in Vermont,” Lawrence Miller, said Wednesday in a statement. “As we have also said, we need solid economic modeling in order to move forward with health care reform.”

Miller continued that he told Gruber, “that I expect his team to complete the work that we need to provide the legislature and Vermonters with a public health care financing plan. I’ve informed Mr. McGruber [sic] that we will not be paying him any further for his part in completing that work.”

Gruber’s original contract with the state was worth more than $400,000. He’s already been paid $160,000.

The news about Gruber was made public at an informational session for Vermont’s legislators.

Despite the mainstream media ignoring this story, and despite the leaders of the Democratic party’s Gruber who? defense,  perhaps it will have some repercussions after all.

Nancy Pelosi claims the Emancipation Proclamation was an Executive Order

November 20, 2014

Earlier today Nancy Pelosi had a peculiar way of trying to justify Barack Obama’s Executive Action on immigration reform. She compared it to the Emancipation Proclamation.

Here is what she had to say:

“Does the public know the Emancipation Proclamation was an executive order?” Pelosi asked reporters Thursday. “People have to understand how presidents have made change in our country, Congress catching up, and in the case of Ronald Reagan, improving what Congress has done.”

Seeing as how she called into question the intelligence of the public I would like to ask her a few questions about this.

Television networks to skip Barack Obama’s immigration reform speech

November 20, 2014

Barack Obama is going to address the nation in prime time tonight about his plans to use Executive Action on immigration reform/amnesty and ABC, NBC, and CBS have just one thing to say to him: Thanks but no thanks, we will stick to our regularly scheduled programming.

According to this article the three major networks have decided not to air Barack Obama’s big speech and the President is not happy.

   Here is more:

The White House is exasperated with the major broadcast networks – ABC, CBS and NBC — for skipping out on President Barack Obama’s Thursday primetime address on his executive actions on immigration.

“In 2006, Bush gave a 17 minute speech that was televised by all three networks that was about deploying 6000 national guard troops to the border. Obama is making a 10 minute speech that will have a vastly greater impact on the issue. And none of the networks are doing it. We can’t believe they were aggrieved that we announced this on Facebook,” a senior administration official told POLITICO.

We will put aside the whiny nature of these comments and continue:

Union boss on Keystone Pipeline defeat: Democrats “have lost their way, their purpose, and their base”

November 19, 2014

union-coal-miners-for-obama-870am We have finally seen the coal unions wake up to the fact that Barack Obama and the Democrats do not have their best interests at heart and it culminated in several blue states turning red in the mid-term election. So much so that it is being speculated that the Democrats may have lost the coal states for the foreseeable future.

And now with the defeat of the Keystone Pipeline it would appear as if more unions are turning against the Democrats and the President.

Here is what Terry O’Sullivan, President of the Laborers’ International Union of North America, had to say about this turn of events:

Barack Obama to announce immigration Executive Action on Thursday

November 19, 2014

The big news of the day is the report that Barack Obama will announce his Executive Order on immigration tomorrow before heading to Nevada on Friday to celebrate.

I have to be honest; I really have no desire to write about this story, my heart is not in it, because we have known this was coming for quite some time and I suppose I have already thrown in the towel.

  But here we go anyway:
