Obamacare: Seven million people will lose their healthcare benefits

February 5, 2013

Remember when Barack Obama claimed that after Obamacare was passed people who liked their insurance would be able to keep it?

When you finish laughing read on.

Most people who have healthcare insurance get their insurance through their employer and according to this new estimate from the CBO as many as seven million people will lose their employer based healthcare benefits.

President Obama’s health care law will push 7 million people out of their job-based insurance coverage — nearly twice the previous estimate, according to the latest estimates from the Congressional Budget Office released Tuesday.

Of course this was the goal all along, that is why the penalty for not providing healthcare insurance was set so low for companies which decided not to provide healthcare to its employees.

The Obama regime and the Democrats knew that many employers would opt to pay the fine rather than provide the ever more costly healthcare benefits–as guaranteed under Obamacare–and as more companies opt to pay the fine Barack Obama must feel as if his plan is working perfectly as we march towards single payer…..

General Dempsey contradicts the State Department’s claim that the Benghazi attack lasted seven hours

February 4, 2013

One of the biggest unanswered questions about the Benghazi terrorist attack is this: if the attack lasted seven hours–as we have been told–why was no help sent in to help the four men who died during the attack?

General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs, appeared on “State of the Union” on Sunday and he told a different story. He claims the attack did not last seven hours:

On CNN’s “State of the Union” on Sunday, Dempsey said the reason the Defense Department sent no aid to the Americans under attack by terrorists in Benghazi on the night of Sept. 11-12, was because the attack did not last seven hours but was really two 20-minute attacks six hours apart

So the story has changed again and somebody is lying to us. They questions are who and why? If General Dempsey’s account is true it still doesn’t answer the question of why no help was sent in after the first attack was over. Something big is being hidden from us.

Janet Napolitano will determine when the borders are secure before amnesty is granted in the new immigration reform bill

February 4, 2013

As of this writing a bipartisan framework for comprehensive immigration reform has been drafted. Republicans who support the framework of this proposal are trying to sell it to the base on the fact that the border will be secured before amnesty is granted, unlike when President Reagan granted amnesty.

It has been written that President Reagan regretted granting amnesty before the border was secured because although the people were told that once amnesty was granted and the borders were secure there would be no further illegal alien problem that simply wasn’t true because illegal immigrants have continued to flood into the country through our open borders–the borders were never secured.

So here we are today facing the same problem and this time we are being told it will be different because amnesty will be contingent on a secure border. Border security will be assessed by some group and once that group determined the border is secure the process for granting amnesty will begin to roll out.

The questions about this plan were always these: who decides if the border is secure enough and what criteria will be used?

Karl Rove backs a group which seeks to bring down the Tea Party

February 3, 2013

The ruling class elitist Republicans in Washington are splintering and falling apart and the future of the party looks bleak. These elitists are very concerned and fearful of losing their power–because that is all they give a damn about, they don’t care about the people–and have begun to try to pull the party back together.

Unfortunately people like John Boehner, in Nancy Pelosi-like style, is attempting to do this by force by removing conservatives from committee seats as a warning to others in the party who would go against his leadership while threatening others with a worse fate if this didn’t teach them a lesson.

Now a new group backed by Karl Rove called the Conservative Victory Project is on the scene. The name of this group sounds great but don’t be fooled because  it isn’t what it seems to be.

Barack Obama releases a picture of himself skeet shooting

February 2, 2013

Last week Barack Obama made the statement that he skeet shoots all the time at the White House. This was an assertion that even Jay Carney had trouble trying to defend because everybody knew that Barack Obama was lying.

When I heard Barack Obama’s statement I knew it was only a matter of time before the propaganda machine issued a Putin-like picture of Barack Obama proving that he was in fact a skeet shooter and today the White House did just that.

Putting his poor form aside, I have only one question: If Barack Obama is really skeet shooting here why is he aiming straight ahead?

Obamacare: medical device company lays off 100 employees due to healthcare reform

February 2, 2013

As companies look to defer the additional costs of Obamacare we have seen a growing trend in the food services and hotel industries: companies are cutting the hours of their employees to under 30 hours a week because this makes them part-time employees and keeps the company compliant with the new law at no additional cost.

But there is one other industry which is going to get hit hard in the future and that is the medical device industry because the healthcare reform law taxes medical devices as a means to help pay for Obamacare. This means these companies have two options if they wish to remain viable: raise the price of the medical devices or cut back on costs.

Naturally, one of the easiest ways to cut costs is to cut workforce and that is what we are beginning to see. According to this article medical device manufacturer Smith & Nephew has announced it is laying off 100 employees and places the blame at the feet of Obamacare: Read more…

Obamacare: The cheapest healthcare plan will be $20,000 per year for a family plan

February 2, 2013

The IRS is now starting to get involved in the implementation of Obamacare and according to this article the tax collection agency is estimating that in 2016 the cheapest Obama-approved healthcare plan will cost the average American family $20,000 a year.

That kind of takes the ‘affordable’ out of the “Affordable Care Act” doesn’t it? But of course Obamacare was never designed to bring down the cost of healthcare, it was designed to make more people dependent on the federal government.

People who cannot afford to pay $20,000 a year will simply have to drop their health insurance and pay the fine and the government is hoping that eventually so many people will be without health insurance that the support for a single payer system will reach the point where the federal government can finally finish the take over of the healthcare industry. And that was the goal all along.

Barack Obama must think that this is going according to plan…..

Afterburner with Bill Whittle: What difference does it make?

February 1, 2013

Below is the latest Afterburner video by Bill Whittle in which he explains to our now former Secretary of State why it does matter that the United States government tried to cover up what happened in Benghazi on September 11th of last year. And just for good measure he takes our current Secretary of State, John Kerry, to task  as well.

As usual this is a must see, enjoy!

Homeland Security: Use scissors to defend yourself against a shooter

January 31, 2013

In the post-second amendment America envisioned by Barack Obama and Dianne Feinstein it may become necessary for people to protect themselves against an “active shooter” but many people wonder how they are to do so if they are not allowed to carry a weapon so the Department of Homeland Security has released a video explaining to people what they should do if they encounter a crazed gunman in a public area, school, or workplace:

In this video–which talks to adult Americans as if they were children, going so far as to explain what an “active shooter” is–they recommend first trying to evacuate the area or hiding from the shooter’s view. Okay, no problem there but what if neither of those is an option? DHS has a solution for that as well.
